차수벽 콘크리트 시공성 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Construction Efficiency of Face Slab Concrete)

  • CFRD face slab concrete has a much capability to occur crack due to drying shrinkage and vibrator compaction etc. Because crack of concrete induces structural problem and decrease durability of concrete, it is need to reduce crack of concrete. In the experimental study it was analyzed that the effect of curing of concrete and compaction on CFRD face slab concrete. As a results, it was found that control of construction condition into curing of concrete and compaction improved on construction efficiency of face slab concrete.

CFRD 차수벽지지죤 강성이 콘크리트차수벽 거동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Stiffness of Face Supporting Zone on Face Slab Behaviors of CFRD)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 원심모형실험으로 담수에 따른 CFRD 차수벽의 거동을 모사하는 방법 및 절차를 제시하고, 실험결과로 부터 콘크리트차수벽의 휨강성이 차수벽의 변위에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 원심모형실험으로 검증된 수치해석을 통하여 차수벽지지죤 강성이 차수벽콘크리트의 변위와 모멘트에 미치는 영향을 평가하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 실제 운영 중인 D댐에 대해 차수벽의 강성을 2가지로 변화시킨 원심모형실험을 수행하였고, 모형체의 축조재료에 대한 삼축압축실험을 수행하고 그 결과를 입력치로 한 수치해석을 통해 원심모형실험을 모사하였다. 모사된 수치해석 결과를 실험결과와 비교하여 수치모형의 적정성을 확인하고 확인된 수치모형에 대해 지지죤 강성을 변화시킨 수치해석을 수행하여 지지죤 강성변화에 따른 콘크리트 차수벽의 연직변위 및 모멘트 발생 양상을 분석하였다. 차수벽 두께를 2가지로 달리한 원심모형실험 결과, CFRD 차수벽 변위는 차수 목적의 콘크리트 두께 범위 내에서는 두께의 영향이 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 원심모형실험과 수치해석 결과로부터 담수 시 CFRD 차수벽의 변위 및 최대변위 발생위치는 콘크리트차수벽 휨강성에는 영향이 거의 없고, 차수벽지지죤의 강성이 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

  • CFRD(Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam) face slab concrete has a much capability to occur crack due to drying shrinkage, plastic shrinkage and bad compaction etc. Because of these cracks of concrete induce structural problem and decrease durability of dam, it is need to reduce crack of face slab concrete. This is an experimental study to analyze the influence factors on crack properties of CFRD face slab concrete. For this purpose, various mix proportion of CFRD face slab concrete and concrete using PPF(polypropylene fiber0 and fly ash was selected. And tests for drying shrinkage, bonding strength, water permeability and plastic shrinkage were performed, and then CFRD D and PPC of those mix proportion were placed in CFRD field. According to test results, it was found that the bonding strength of C1(compact sufficiently) was higher about 10~20% than that of C2(compact insufficiently). And the engineering properties of PPC(concrete using PPF) and FAC(concrete using fly ash) were better than those of the others ; the permeability of PPC and FAC after 8 weeks curing was little lower than that of CFRD D, and plastic shrinkage crack of PPC and FAC was lower 40~60% than crack of CFRD D.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the optimum mix design of concrete to be placed at the face slab concrete in CFRD(Concrete Faced Rockfill Dam) for pumped storage power plants. The basic performance tests including compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, flexural strength and the control properties of crack including plastic shrinkage, drying shrinkage were conducted for concrete using fly ash and polypropylene fiber. From this study, the fly ash concrete represented the better results in the aspects of basic performance, control properties of crack and economy than ordinary portland cement concrete. Especially the concrete mix design containing 20% of fly ash is recommended to be applied in the construction of the face slab concrete in CFRD for pumped storage power plants.

For this purpose, it was investigated and analyzed the engineering properties of plain concrete and using admixtures (polypropylene fiber, fly-ash) according to test result As the result, it was found that crack width and area of concrete using admixtures less than of plain concrete.

This is an experimental study to analyze the effect of fiber reinforced on CFRD face slab concrete. for this purpose, it was investigated and analyzed the engineering properties of plain concrete and polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete (PFRC) according to test result ; the test include slump, air content, compressive strength, tensile strength, drying shrinkage and permeability etc. As the results, it was found permeability and drying shrinkage of PFRC less than that of plain concrete.

  • Dam concrete for pumped storage power plants should have sufficient durability in repetitive wet and dry conditions and abrasion due to water level fluctuation and also in freezing and thawing resistance as well as permeability capacity. This study presents various experimental results to enhance the durability of face slab concrete in CFRD(concrete faced rockfill dam) by varying the fly ash substitution such as 0%, 15%, 20% and 25% and polypropylene such as 0%, 0.1%. The effect on durability of concrete corresponding to the increasing amount of fly ash and polypropylene was evaluated and the optimum quantity of fly ash and polypropylene substitution was recommended. The results show that 20% of fly ash substitution and 0% of polypropylene were found out to be an optimum quantity to achieve excellent performances in durability for face slab concrete in CFRD.

  • 이 논문은 표면 차수벽형 석괴댐(Concrete-Faced Rock-Filled Dam) 콘크리트의 내구성능 개선에 관한 것이다. 댐은 영구 구조물이며 그 중요성을 감안할 때 충분한 내구성능이 확보되어야 한다. 이 논문에서는 플라이애시와 PVA 섬유를 혼입함으로써 차수벽 콘크리트의 내구성능을 개선하고자 하였으며, 플라이애시와 PVA 섬유 혼입율에 따른 내구성능 향상 검증을 위하여 기본물성 (강도, 소성수축, 자기수축)을 포함한 내구성능 검증 실험(염소이온 침투, 마모 저항성, 동결융해 저항성)을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 플라이애시 15%와 PVA 섬유 0.1%를 혼입하였을 때 내구성능 개선 효과가 뛰어난 것으로 나타났다. 검증된 차수벽 콘크리트의 현장 적용을 통해 표면 차수벽형 석괴댐의 안전성 및 내구성 개선에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • The effects of substituting cement with fiber addition(poly vinyl alcohol), fly ash and Expansive Additive on the control of microcrack and enhanced durability performance of face slab concrete in concrete-faced rockfill dam was studied experimentally The laboratory test results shown that the mixture of fiber containing concrete and of fly ash replacement of concrete to be more effective than expansive additive concrete in the crack control and mechanical performance.

  • The effects of substituting cement with fly ash(10%, 15%, 20%) and different fiber addition(polypropylene, cellulose, poly vinyl alcohol), on the control of microcrack and enhanced durability performance of face slab concrete in CFRD was studied experimentally It was conducted experiments of plastic shrinkage of mortar and concrete, and drying shrinkage of concrete. Also, durability test were carried out the chloride permeability, abrasion resistance and freeze-thaw repetition. Through the experimental results, it was concluded that ploy vinyl alcohol fiber containing concrete was the most effective mixture in control of cracking and durability.
