Engineering approach of statistics processing is defined for the statistical expert system. First, the engineering approach requirement are conceptualized by using an artificial intelligence in statistics, with the extensions being additional statistical knowlege engineering such as software engineering, optinal relationships, and the generalization abstraction. The methodology produces statistical expert system designes that are not only accurate representations of reality but also enough to accommodate future processing requirements. It also representions of knowledge that must be constructed, using the extended engineering processing model conceptualization and proposed engineering approach of the problem.

The debates continue on the conceptualization of Southeast Asia and the ways in which those of us who are concerned to attempt scholarly interventions in the region define, conceive, understand and engage with it. But, in an important sense, the region has now been defined for us by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and whatever academic researchers might wish to impose on Southeast Asia in regard to their priorities and interests, it may make little difference. Given the politically-derived, nation-state definition of Southeast Asia, are all our problems of regional definition resolved? In some respects, they have been. ASEAN has constructed and institutionalized a regional organization and an associated regional culture. But in certain fields of research we still require academic flexibility. We cannot always be confined by an ASEAN-derived regional definition. The paper will explore other configurations of 'region' and its sub-divisions and propose, that in the spirit of academic freedom, we can continue to generate imaginative depictions of Southeast Asia and its constituents both within and beyond the region.

Many global business failures have been ascribed to a lack of intercultural competence, especially to a lack of an adequate conceptualization and definition of intercultural competence, focusing instead on the knowledge, skills, and attributes that appear to be its antecedents. Intercultural competence should be perceived as multifaceted important components of global management capabilities. Depending on the related concepts of intercultural competence, such as global mindset, intercultural sensitivity, and cultural intelligence, dynamic aspects of intercultural competence as learning process are suggested. Also, the domain of intercultural competence in the context of global management or business comprised three dimensions - perception management, relationship management, and self management. Each dimension is characterized by facets that further delineate aspects of intercultural competence. With respect to the domain of intercultural competence, appropriateintercultural training methods should be designed. In practice, human resource managers may benefit from gaining knowledge about which measures to use for identifying employee's weakness in intercultural competence in order to create appropriate training programs.

Although previous studies have made significant progress in adaptive selling behavior (ASB), few studies have considered salesperson's customer orientation (CO) and learning behavior as determinants of effective sales management (ASB and relationship-making efforts), despite the discussion of important roles of these constructs. The authors test not only the relationships of salesperson's CO and market-based learning behavior to ASB and relationship-making efforts, but also the effects of ASB on relationship-making efforts and performance. The results of the study, which is done with samples of salespeople from Korean companies, indicate that salesperson's CO and market-based learning behavior are identified as significant determinants of ASB. Moreover, both salesperson's ASB and relationship-making efforts have significant effects on sales performance. On the other hand, as per salesperson's relationship-making efforts, salesperson's CO has a positive effect, but salesperson's market-based learning behavior and ASB do not influence his or her relationship-making efforts, which suggest a provocative possibility of conceptualization regarding the relationship between ASB and relationship management efforts.

Design-Based Research (DBR) focuses on developing key principles of interventions to advance both theory and practicalities of dissemination (Brown, 1992), yet its methodological details have not been quite established. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to address the pragmatics of DBR by sharing the researcher's reflections on conducting a longitudinal DBR project for five years. In an attempt to advance college teaching practices as well as theories related to student plagiarism, the project focused on refining "humble" theories on how and why college students engage in plagiarism to design classroom interventions for promoting academic integrity. Similar to the Integrative Learning Design (ILD) framework proposed by Bannan-Ritland (2003), but conducted in a much simpler and less formal format, this study followed DBR cycles from initial conceptualization to design and enact instructional interventions in authentic contexts while collecting both quantitative and qualitative data from each phase. Finally, the paper addresses some challenges encountered throughout the DBR project as well as the lessons learned from this experience. Like many previous DBR studies whose practical relevance is limited to local context, the findings from this study may not be easily generalized for other contexts.

While a great body of information systems (IS) literature has discussed mobile banking (m-banking) services, most of these studies have focused on the adoption or acceptance phases of this technology; with little attention was given to users' intension to continue using such technology. This paper aims at investigating the most important factors that predict users' continuous intension to use m-banking services in the post-adoption phase. This paper presents a conceptualization and validation of an extended expectation-confirmation model (ECM). A total of 303 Kuwaiti users of m-banking services participated in this study. Partial least squares (PLS) of structure equation modelling (SEM) technique was used to analyze the data. The results mainly showed that users' continuous intension to use m-banking services is significantly influenced by perceived trust, satisfaction, self-efficacy, performance expectancy and effort expectancy. Theoretical and practical contributions as well as the research limitations and future directions are discussed.

We introduce a novel outdoor linear LED luminaire enhanced with Gore-Tex filters, designed to overcome the challenges of moisture and thermal management in harsh environments. This luminaire integrates expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE)-commercially known as Gore-Tex-achieving superior waterproofing and dustproof qualities while maintaining breathability to prevent internal condensation. The design process, from conceptualization through prototyping and testing, is detailed, highlighting the luminaire's improved durability and stability under varying conditions. Experimental results demonstrate that our design significantly extends the operational lifespan and reliability of outdoor LED lighting systems by mitigating thermal and moisture-related degradation. This study not only advances ePTFE's application in lighting technologies but also offers a scalable model for enhancing the performance of LED luminaires in outdoor settings.

Product-service systems (PSS), integrating physical products and services, currently play a crucial role in sustainable economies. In addition to the highly competitive global economy, the emergence of new digital paradigms is supporting the shift toward servitization. Although the great potential of such paradigms is recognized by both practice and research, their implications for PSS are not yet clear. In particular, features of Internet of Things (IoT), such as total connectedness and ubiquity of smart sensors and actuators, provide various new opportunities for PSS. This study explores such opportunities by conducting structured literature review and 13 interviews. We organize the findings in two folds: First, we introduce four degrees of IoT involvement in PSS business models and elaborate the opportunities that they create for different types of PSS. Second, we present the key technologies and approaches that IoT provides concerning PSS lifecycle management.

1. Objective: This literary review investigates Lee Jema's clinical experiences with Soyang-type patients and their influence on his conceptualization of the Soyang physiology and pathology. 2. Methods: 1) The case reports in "Soyang constitutional type: Spleen Cold-based Exterior-Cold disease" were compared before and after the Sinchuk revision to explore the temporal change in the Sasang medical concepts. 2) The texts in Donguisusebowon (Gabo edition) and Donguisusebowon (Sasangchobongwon) were analyzed to investigate the pathological concepts appearing before the completion of the Donguisusebowon (Gabo edition). 3) The texts in Donguisusebowon (Sinchuk edition) was analyzed to investigate the pathological concepts formed between the Gabo and Sinchuk editions of Donguisusebowon. 3. Results and Conclusions: 1) Gabo edition : The Gabo edition divided the External-origin Exterior disease into Cold-dominant (Heat-moderate) and Heat-dominant (Cold-moderate) patterns and differentiated the severity of Exterior-based Exterior disease and Interior-based Interior disease into mild, moderate, severe, and critical conditions. Cold-damage Delirium disease pattern was categorized as an Interior-based Interior disease, and the treatment protocol using Baekho-tang (Baihu-tang) was established. The stool condition and bowel movement reflecting the patient's defecation habits, the prime indicator of health in the Soyang constitutional type, were emphasized on their importance. 2) Sinchuk edition: The Delirium disease pattern was moved into the Exterior-cold disease, and the treatment protocol applying Jihwangbaekho-tang (Dihuangbaihu-tang) and Hyeongbangsabaek-san (Jingfangxiebai-san), with variational usage of Gypsum, was newly established. The Seong-Jeong and basal disease patterns were suggested as important factors in treating the patients. Also, it was proposed that the symptoms and signs reflecting the condition of the life-preserving energy be assessed to understand the patient's current condition. The importance of post-acute rehabilitation and aftercare as well as the most appropriate acute-stage treatment were emphasized.

This study examined the primary tones of news stories and the overall frames which are structuralized by the primary tones in the news reporting of the Private School Law and social conflicts occurring around the law. For this purpose, the study applied Lakoff and Johnson's metaphoric conceptualization to the analysis of the news stories reported in the Chosun Ilbo, the Hankyoreh, and the Kookmin Ilbo, which are considered to represent the audience of the conservative, progressive, and religious forces, respectively. The main goal of this study includes to describe in which manner the newspapers attempt to depict the frames of major social conflicts regarding the Private School Law. The results show that (1) the Chosun Ilbo and the Kookmin Ilbo attempt to structuralize the social conflicts by providing frames of 'freedom is an asset' and a 'war' metaphors; (2) the Kookmin Ilbo applied more frames of a religious metaphor among others; and (3) the Hankyoreh attempts to structuralize the social conflicts by offering frames of 'the front is good, but the rear is bad' and 'war' metaphors, which proves to be the opposite in presenting the overall framing.
