위해성평가를 위한 지중 오염물질 거동 모델 이용 (Contaminant Fate and Transport Modeling for Risk Assessment)

  • 본 연구에서는 위해성평가 과정의 중요한 부분으로서 수행되는 오염물질의 지중(subsurface) 거동 모델의 이용에 관한 전반적인 내용을 고찰하였다. 모델의 종류, 그리고 모델을 선택하고 이용하기 위하여 선행되어야 할 부지조사 및 개념적 모델 수립에 대해서 살펴보았다. 모델 선택의 기준을 정리하였고 대표적 모델과 각 모델의 모의 가능한 부지 조건들을 소개하였다. 모델의 보정, 검증, 민감도 분석 등 모델 이용에 필요한 일련의 과정과 각 과정에서 유의하거나 고려하여야 할 점을 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 검토한 바에 의하면, 모델 선택의 주요 기준은 모델링의 목표와 수준, 그리고 모델이 오염부지의 주요 현상을 모의할 수 있는지 여부지만, 모델이 실제 시스템을 적절히 모의할 수 있는지는 이러한 기준으로 판단할 수 없으며 모델 입력변수 등 부지 자료의 가용성 및 질적 수준에 따라 결정된다. 한편, 추정된 입력변수에 대하여 높은 민감도를 보인다거나 선택한 모델의 보정 및 검증이 만족스럽지 않은 경우 자료 측정으로 대신하거나 다른 모델로 전환하는 등 전략 수정을 할 필요가 있다.

단열대의 영향을 고려한 블록 규모 단열 암반에서의 지하수 유동 모의 (Groundwater Flow Modeling in a Block-Scale Fractured Rocks considering the Fractured Zones)

  • 핀란드 Okiluoto 섬 중앙부에 방사성폐기물 처분장으로 예정된 부지에서 블록 규모 지하수 유동 모의를 수행하였다. 현장에 설치된 심부 관측공에서 관찰된 단열대에 관한 자료를 이용하여 단열망을 구성하였다. 이 단열망을 이용하여 3차원 유한 요소 격자망의 수리전도도장를 생성하고, 이를 지하수 유동 모의에 이용하였다. 현장에서 이루어진 양수시험 전과 후에 심부 관측공에서 측정된 수위와 구간별 유입, 유출량을 이용하여 시추공과 교차하는 단열대의 투수량계수와 부지의 함양률을 조절하며 지하수 유동 모형을 보정하였다. 양수 시험 전과 후를 순차적으로 보정해가며 모의한 결과, 보정된 지하수 유동 모형으로 계산한 지하 수위는 관측 자료와 비교적 일치하지만, 관측공에서의 지하수 유입, 유출량은 상당한 차이를 보이는 구간도 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이런 불일치는 지하수 유동로가 될 수 있는 구조가 지하수 유동 모의를 위한 개념모형에 충분히 반영되지 않아 생기는 것으로 생각되며, 이에 배경단열과 같은 국지적인 유동로 구조가 개념모형에 반영되어야 할 것으로 판단되었다.

  • In general, the conceptual lumped-parameter groundwater flow model to predict the groundwater fluctuations in hillside slopes has unknown model parameters to be estimated from the known input -output data. The purpose of this study is to estimate the optimal model parameters of the groundwater flow model developed by authors. The Mazilnum A Posteriori( MAP) estimation method is utilized for this purpose and it is applied to a site which shows the typical landslide in Korea. The result of application shows tllat the 반AP estimation method can estimate the unknown parameters properly well. The groundwater model developed along with estimation technique applied in this paper will be used for assessing risk of landslides.

고층고밀 아파트단지의 노후도 평가지표 개발 (A Study on the Evaluating Indicators of the Level of Deterioration in High-rise and high-density Apartments)

  • High-rise and high-density apartment complexes have been built and supplied on a large scale in the 1st period of the New Town project in metropolitan areas since the late 1980s. Now It has become necessary to improve those apartment complexes, which have serious deterioration problems for aging more than about 20 years accompanying simultaneity and a large scale. The purpose of this research is to develop the evaluating indicators to measure the level of deterioration of apartments inclusively and practically in order to regenerate apartments as sustainable residential environments. This study is composed of the following four parts; (a) establishing the conceptual model of evaluation of apartment deterioration, (b) selecting evaluation items, (c) constituting evaluation measurement, and(d)weighting evaluation indicators. First, deterioration of apartments was conceptualized by physical. social, and economical aspects in terms of sustainable development and proposed the conceptual model of hierarchy structure of evaluation of apartment deterioration by literature reviews. Second, evaluating items were selected based on literature reviews of existing indicators and preceding studies about apartments of Korea and foreign countries. The evaluating indicators were identified as a total of 77 evaluating items which were composed of three dimensions and 9 attributes on the basis of the conceptual model. They cover comprehensive scope of the apartment such as unit, building, complex, and site. Third, as the measurement, the 5 point ordinal scale measure was suggested. The evaluating measurement including measure standards, measure methods, and measure contents were developed by each evaluating items. Lastly, the weighting of evaluating indicators was analyzed by AHP method conducted by survey on the expert group. Items were identified as high contributors or low contributors. The weighting of these items could suggest several evaluations according to the situation. The evaluation of the level of deterioration can be done by both total evaluation and a specific field of evaluation. In addition, it is easy to grasp deteriorated attributes or dimensions by providing a radar and bar chart showing evaluation results. These evaluating indicators could be a useful tool to grasp actual methods for the regeneration of apartments.

공동주택의 건강성능 평가지표 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Indicators of Healthy Housing Quality of Multi-Family Housing)

  • The purpose this study is to develop indicators that measure the healthy housing condition of multi-family housing. The major findings are as follow: first, healthy housing was defined by physical, mental, social, and management aspects and proposed the conceptual model of hierarchy structure of evaluation of healthy housing by literature reviews. 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생의 환자안전 관리 활동 구조모형 (Model Patient Safety Management Activities for Nursing Students with Clinical Experience)

  • 본 연구는 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생을 대상으로 환자안전사고관리 활동을 설명하고 Ajzen의 계획된 행위이론 및 안전문화 풍토-안전행동모형을 개념적 기틀로 하고, 문헌고찰을 토대로 간호대학생의 환자안전사고관리활동의 가설적 모형을 제시하고, 수집된 자료를 통해 모형의 적합도와 가설을 검증하는 구조방정식 모형 구축연구이다. 연구 대상은 임상실습 경험이 있는 간호대학생 251명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료수집을 시행하였다. 본 연구결과 모형은 적합한 것으로 확인되었으며 간호대학생의 환자안전관리 활동에 영향을 미치는 예측변수로 환자안전관리 태도, 환자안전문화 및 안전동기임이 확인되었다. 따라서 환자안전관리활동을 향상을 위해서는 임상 실습 현장에서부터 졸업 후 임상에 나가기 전까지 간호대학생이 올바른 환자안전 관리행위를 올바르게 수행할 수 있도록 간호대학생 대상 효과적인 환자안전 사고관리 교육프로그램이 필요하며 이러한 교육 프로그램이 실무현장까지 연속성있게 이어지는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있겠다.

Radionuclide-Specific Exposure Pathway Analysis of Kori Unit 1 Containment Building Surface

  • Site characterization for decommissioning Kori Unit 1 is ongoing in South Korea after 40 years of successful operation. Kori Unit 1's containment building is assumed to be mostly radioactively contaminated, and therefore radiation exposure management and detailed contamination investigation are required for decommissioning and dismantling it safely. In this study, site-specific Derived Concentration Guideline Levels (DCGLs) were derived using the residual radioactivity risk evaluation tool, RESRAD-BUILD code. A conceptual model of containment building for Kori Unit 1 was set up and limited occupational worker building inspection scenario was applied. Depending on the source location, the maximum contribution source and exposure pathway of each radionuclide were analyzed. The contribution of radionuclides to dose and exposure pathways, by source location, is expected to serve as basic data in the assessment criteria of survey areas and classification of impact areas during further decommissioning and decontamination of sites.

  • The design of agricultural facilities is the consistent activities, which systematically analyze all the actual conditions, design the unit structures, and improve the faming environment through efficient organization of the unit facility. The design of agricultural facilities is composed of site study, preliminary design, primary design, and detail design. Integrated design system can manage and process the information created by and used in all steps of design process. Formal data models of these design activities are important conceptual steps in development of integrated design system. However, most of existing models are not available for agricultural facilities. To support efficiently developing the integrated design system of agricultural facilities, we have developed the Multi-Layered Primitive-Composite mode I through object-oriented analysis of agricultural facilities. The MPC model not only satisfies the characteristics of agricultural facility, such as variety, coupling, informal data, but also improves abilities of integrated design system such as extensibility, flexibility, and granularity. The paper presents a formal definition of the MPC model.

Effect of Transport Capacity Formula on Spatial Distribution of Soil Erosion

  • Soil erosion due to climate change is one of the global environmental issues. Especially, Korea is vulnerable to soil erosion as the frequency of extreme rainfall events and rainfall intensity are increasing. Soil erosion causes various problems such as reduced farmlands, deterioration of water quality in rivers, etc. To these severe problems, understanding the process of soil erosion is the first process. Then, it is necessary to quantify and analyze soil ersoion using an erosion model. Soil erosion models are divided into empirical, conceptual, and physics-based models according to the structures and characteristics of models. This study used GSSHA (Gridded Surface Subsurface Hydrologic Analysis), the physics-based erosion model, running on WMS (Watershed Modeling System) to analyze soil erosion vulnerability of the CheonCheon watershed. In addition, we compared the six sediment transport capacity formulas provided in the model and evaluated the equations fir on this study site. Therefore, this result can be as a primary tool for soil conservation management.

A Potential Value of Noise Control in Construction Sites for Real Estate Developers

  • Since construction work is an indispensable part of daily lives, complaints of noise are unavoidable. Noise control in construction sites is normally known as a regulation by a government and self-motivated noise controls rarely occur. In this paper, a marketing strategy is proposed to provide a potential value of noise control for real estate developer. First, people's perception to construction noise was examined in means of collecting and analyzing media reports between 2005 to 2011. Then decibel test was done in order to test noise generated by different devices in a construction site in various distances. According to the theory of core competency, a conceptual model was raised to illustrate profit and loss situation of the real estate developers in the case they invest more in noise control. The construction noise is discussed that it will ruin people's perception to the company's brand image and reputation. Also, the investment in the creation of silent site is discussed that it will not only bring benefit to the brand image work but also have value of profit in the market.
