Objective : We explored the meaning of "Pyo (表)" in Gangpyeong-Shanghanlun through two cases. Methods : We analyzed the original form of 表 and its context in Shanghanlun. We also analyzed 2 clinical cases of bipolar disorder treated with Mahwang-tang (麻黃湯) according to the newly deduced definition of 表. Results : 表 can be interpreted as "pursuing something high-class seen from the outside." Both cases had various psychological symptoms including insomnia, mood swings, anxiety, and depression. We determined that the diseases in both cases occurred when 表 had not been achieved. We also found that 麻黃湯 can improve psychological status. Conclusions : 表 is different from "surface," which is the most widely used definition. After diagnosing these two patients with bipolar disorder using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (5^th edition), we found that symptoms could be improved by administration of 麻黃湯 (46條). Although its potential for neuropsychiatric diagnosis has been suggested through etymological interpretation of 表 and analysis of two cases, more advanced clinical studies are needed in the future.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to monitor the use of health-related quality of life (HRQOL) instruments in Korean studies of patients with diabetes. Methods: Of 86 Korean studies initially identified, 17 studies met the inclusion criteria. For each study, a description of the instrument and its psychometric properties were monitored by the Instrument Review Criteria of the Scientific Advisory Committee. These criteria include conceptual definition, attributes, taxonomy, reliability, validity, responsiveness, administrative mode, and language adaptations. Results: Five generic and one diabetes specific type questionnaires were identified from the 17 studies. Of those studies, conceptual definitions with the attributes of multi-dimension and subjectiveness were provided for 11 studies (71%). In the analysis of conceptual taxonomy, only 6 studies were classified as HRQOL, while other studies were done as QOL or health status. In monitoring of psychometric properties, reliability, validity, and responsiveness were reported for 88.2%, 64.7%, and 29.4%, respectively. One generic instrument was developed with a Korean population, while the other instruments were developed for Western countries. However, language adaptations were performed for only a few of the instruments. Conclusion: The psychometric properties including responsiveness of most instruments warrants further research, and the development of diabetes-specific HRQOL measurements should be sought to facilitate intervention outcomes across Korean studies of patients with diabetes.

본 논고는 디자인프로세스를 활용한 공간 아이덴티티 개발 모델에 관한 것이다. 연구의 주요 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 디자인프로세스의 개념을 정의하고 그 외에 다양한 디자인프로세스 모델을 연구하였다. 둘째, 공간 디자인프로세스의 의미에 대해 연구하고 개념 정의를 하였다. 셋째, 공간 아이덴티티 개발을 위한 공간디자인프로세스 개념 모델을 연구 개발하였다. 마지막으로 복합적이고 다양한 형태의 공간에 디자인프로세스를 적용해 공간 아이덴티티를 정의할 수 있는 개념모델을 연구해 제시하였다. 본 연구는 디자인프로세스와 공간 아이덴티티에 대한 연구를 위해 관련 문헌 조사 및 다양한 이론적 고찰 등 실증주의적 연구 방법을 적용하였다. 또한 공간디자인프로세스에 대한 연구는 선행 연구 자료들을 바탕으로 한 간접적인 조사방법을 채택하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 디자인프로세스의 다양한 모델들을 분석해 공간디자인 아이덴티티를 개발하는 방법과 적용 범위를 연구하는데 있다.

본 연구는 그래핑 계산기를 이용한 함수학습이 학생의 개념이미지의 개념정의로의 변화에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 학생들은 그래프를 통해 어떤 정보를 얻어내며 그래프와 수식사이를 어떤 과정을 통해 이해하는가를 정성연구를 통해 조사하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 함수에 대한 사전학습이 없었던 학생은 그래핑 계산기 환경에서 많은 정보를 얻으면서 개념정의를 가지게 되었고 스스로 탐구하는 학습을 하였다. 반면 사전 학습이 있었던 학생은 함수에 대해 많은 개념이미지를 가지고 있어서 그래핑 계산기의 사용을 불필요하게 생각하였고 그 효과도 다른 학생에 비해 미비하였다. 세 학생 모두 그래프를 비교하는 문제와 평행이동을 조사하는 문제에서는 계산기를 유용하게 사용하면서 학습해나갔다. 그래프처럼 시각적인 것을 통한 학습이 대수식을 통한 학습보다 함수의 변화 등 역동적인 학습을 통해 개념정의로 접근이 용이하였으며 학생들의 학습과정에서 그래핑 계산기의 역할에 따른 학습모델을 제시 가능하였다.

Although juvenile delinquency has been continually decreasing, property and traffic crimes have been increasing. The age of delinquents or adolescent criminals are getting younger, and the number of female involved in delinquency or crimes has been increasing. The most frequently researched topic has been factors of causal effects on juvenile delinquency and development of counseling programs for the delinquents. Other studies have been investigating descriptive data, analyzing differences by sex, or categorizing delinquency behaviors by type, and suggesting political alternatives for restoration of juvenile delinquency. There have been several academic issues on the conceptual definition of delinquency, shift in research topics, and research methods. There have been further discussions on the imminent values of making relevant policies based on the results of multi-disciplinary research, developing the preventive and therapeutic programs and career counseling programs, and working with the experts from local communities.

In order to successfully adapt in ever-changing social and economic environment, organizational members need to get a capacity to be open to accepting change, effectively leverage the knowledge assets accumulated inside and outside the company for pursuing new values. In this study, we defined such competence as generativity capacity and demonstrated mechanism for forming generativity capacity and an impact on job performance. We suggested absorptive capacity, tertius iungens orientation, use of information technology as antecedent variables of generativity capacity. For empirically verifying the proposed model, we collected sample data from 201 workers and conducted analysis using a structural equation modeling. The empirical analysis results revealed that all of the proposed antecedent variables significantly impacted on generativity capacity, which in turn had a significant effect on job performance. We expect that this study will provide researchers and managers who want to get a broader perspective on knowledge management beyond the boundaries with useful theoretical and practical implications.

This study aims to establish the concept about a new approaching method dor remodeling in the planning step. also, this study sets up the way how to approach in a dimensional way by classifying the conceptual composition of the target housing as a method. The dimensional definition is as below. The one dimensional approach: the spot. the two dimensional approach: the line, the three dimensional approach: the apatial mass, the four dimensional approach: space + time, the n dimensional (multi-dimensional) approach: the space + time + emotion. The research findings are as follows : For the purpose of remodeling, the old housing should be viewed in the three dimensional shape and space. It is defined as multi-dimensional module method to design the shape and space of the target housing in a multi-dimensional point, considering the three dimensional space composition, the emotion of the user, the housing itself. and the time of the user.

Starting with the meaning of the word quality, diverse concepts connoted by the term are examined. Instead of a bathtub curve, the desirable shape of a failure rate covering the entire life of a good product, which might be called hockey-stick line, is introduced. From the hockey-stick line and the definition of reliability, two measurements are extracted. The terms r-reliability (failure rate) and durability (product life) are explained. The conceptual analysis of failure mechanics explains that reliability technology pertains to design area. The desirable shape of hazard rate curve of electronic items, hockey-stick line, clarifies that Mean-Time-to-failure (MTTF) as the inverse of failure rate can be regarded a nominal life. And Bx life, different from MTTF, is explained. Reliability relationships between components and set products are explained. Reshaped definitions of r-reliability and durability are recommended. The procedure to improve reliability and the reasons for failing to identify failure mode are clarified in order to search right solutions. And generalized Life-Stress failure model is recommended for the calculation of acceleration factor.

Consciousness is really regarded as too ambiguous a concept to be understood and accepted as a mental construct without the inclusion of memory and attention in any conceptualization. However we need one criterion to count satisfactorily as an explanation of consciousness in information processing. An operational working definition of consciousness could be made in comparison of memory and attention: Consciousness would be a subjective awareness of momentary experience and also have the characteristics of an operating system performing control and consolidation information processing. This could be called a cognitive consciousness. It is possible that some distinctions between consciousness, memory and attention can be made conceptually and functionally from the perspectives of information processing.

Purpose - This study sought to discuss definitions of organizational culture taking into consideration different views, and the historical and philosophical elements of organizational culture. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - This paper is a relatively conceptual study that has attempted to define organizational culture, a topic that has been debated among scholars and practitioners. Various studies in the literature related to organizational culture have been reviewed in an effort to reduce the complexities and ambiguities in definitions of organizational culture. Results -This study summarized and synthesized different studies related to organizational culture, and identified the main streams for defining organizational culture as being from the historical and philosophical elements of organizational culture. Conclusions -The concept of organizational culture continues to be an important factor affecting organizational effectiveness and initiating organizational development. However, the definition of organizational culture has not been well-established. In this sense, this paper seems to be significant and meaningful as it attempts to define organizational culture from different perspectives.
