재난 후 상황에서의 모바일 응용 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Mobile Application in Post-Disaster)

  • 재난으로 인해 초토화 상황이 발생하면 전기 단절로 기지국을 이용하는 통신 수단이 두절된다. 공공 안전 및 재난 구조 전파 통신 표준 관련 시스템을 사용하기 위해서 사용자는 전용 장비를 사용해야 하고, 운영을 위한 전문 지식이 필요하다. 또한, 인프라를 구축하기 위한 막대한 투자비용이 드는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이는 재난 상황에서 신속하고 효율적인 재난 통신으로는 부족하며, 국가 자원이 투입되긴 전 국민들에게 큰 혼란이 발생할 수 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 일반인도 바로 사용할 수 있는 모바일 응용의 설계를 제안하고, 개념 증명을 위해 이를 안드로이드 폰 응용으로 구현한다.

Spatial extrapolation of pressure time series on low buildings using proper orthogonal decomposition

  • This paper presents a methodology for spatial extrapolation of wind-induced pressure time series from a corner bay to roof locations on a low building away from the corner through the application of proper orthogonal decomposition (POD). The approach is based on the concept that pressure time series in the far field can be approximated as a linear combination of a series of modes and principal coordinates, where the modes are extracted from the full roof pressure field of an aerodynamically similar building and the principal coordinates are calculated from data at the leading corner bay only. The reliability of the extrapolation for uplift time series in nine bays for a cornering wind direction was examined. It is shown that POD can extrapolate reasonably accurately to bays near the leading corner, given the first three modes, but the extrapolation degrades further from the corner bay as the spatial correlations decrease.

  • In order to have the highest level of a certain society's technology be evaluated as digital contents technology the value concept of such technology's social utilization must be established while active investment on the technology takes place and makes it the subject of social capitalization. This study wishes to discuss the strategies and methods of establishing and managing IP holding company which requires business activation with digital contents technology at its base, research ways of vitalizing IP holding company to expand social utility values of contents technology, suggest necessary systemic improvements and investment activation methods, management structure, and governance structure by investigating ways to stimulate the industrialization of contents technology through the establishment and management of this IP holding company, and finally come up with a realistic measure to establish and manage a IP holding company. Strategies on commercialization of digital contents technology and acceleration of technology development, as well as activation of venture business set-ups will be analyzed and suggested based on such suggestions while IP holding company's digital contents technology investment activation model will be established to produce means to realize discovering superior contents companies and activation of investment, and activating high quality contents production for the global market.

GOTHIC-3D APPLICABILITY TO HYDROGEN COMBUSTION ANALYSIS

  • Severe accidents in nuclear power plants can cause hydrogen-generating chemical reactions, which create the danger of hydrogen combustion and thus threaten containment integrity. For containment analyses, a three-dimensional mechanistic code, GOTHIC-3D has been applied near source compartments to predict whether or not highly reactive gas mixtures can form during an accident with the hydrogen mitigation system working. To assess the code applicability to hydrogen combustion analysis, this paper presents the numerical calculation results of GOTHIC-3D for various hydrogen combustion experiments, including FLAME, LSVCTF, and SNU-2D. In this study, a technical base for the modeling oflarge- and small-scale facilities was introduced through sensitivity studies on cell size and bum modeling parameters. Use of a turbulent bum option of the eddy dissipation concept enabled scale-free applications. Lowering the bum parameter values for the flame thickness and the bum temperature limit resulted in a larger flame velocity. When applied to hydrogen combustion analysis, this study revealed that the GOTHIC-3D code is generally able to predict the combustion phenomena with its default bum modeling parameters for large-scale facilities. However, the code needs further modifications of its bum modeling parameters to be applied to either small-scale facilities or extremely fast transients.

U-Healthcare 기반의 환자 모니터링 시스템 (Patient Monitoring System Base on U-Healthcare)

  • 기존의 환자 모니터링 시스템은 환자가 자신의 정보를 원하는 경우 의료 기관을 통해서 정보 확인이 가능 하였다. 그러나 U-Healthcare 기반의 환자 모니터링 시스템에서는 RFID 시스템을 의료 환경에 적용하여 언제 어디서나 자신의 정보를 RFID 리더가 탑재된 모바일 장치를 통하여 확인이 가능하다. 환자의 태그 정보를 읽어 들여 환자가 원하는 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 RFID 미들웨어 설계가 필요하다. 임베디드 리눅스 기반의 RFID미들웨어는 크게 RFID 모듈, ARM 프로세서, RS-232 인터페이스 등으로 구성된다. RFID 모듈은 사용자의 정보를 입력받기 위하여 사용되며, RS-232 인터페이스를 통하여 RFID 미들웨어로 정보를 전달한다. 또한 본 시스템은 임베디드 전용 ARM 프로세서를 사용하여 환자 모니터링 시스템에 특화된 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 U-Healthcare 기반의 환자 모니터링 시스템은 임베디드 리눅스 기반의 Qt를 사용하여 RFID 미들웨어를 구현하였다.

  • The U.S. Army is capable and ready to deploy full-spectrum armed forces anywhere in the world as we have seen in Iraq and Afghanistan. This commitment is within the realm of logistics support that the readiness to support MRE(Meal Ready to Eat), according to the environment where the operation is on going. ROKA(Republic Of Korea Army) proceeds with the program to develop and reserve various MRE under the assumption of distinctive warfare operating environment. This study investigates to determine the amount of MRE consumption within various operating environment and details are as follows. First we ponder the concept of MRE and identified problems of the existing program. Second we also establish feeding rations by the types of MRE that is the base for calculation. Third we introduce MRE consumption algorithm and formula. Fourth and last we have applied our model to the program and analyzed the results. The present state of the estimation didn't reflect various warfare operating environment. Therefore we simulates theater wargame model to determine the consumption under various warfare operating environment. The result of this study is anticipated to contribute largely to the force enhancement as it mirrors of every circumstances of operating environment.

RETScreen 모델이용 태양열온수시스템 초기설계단계 설계용량 최적화기법의 TRNSYS 모델과의 비교분석 (Comparative Study on Size Optimization of a Solar Water Heating System in the Early Design Phase Using a RETScreen Model with TRNSYS Model Optimization)

  • This paper describes a method for size optimization of the major design variables for solar water heating systems at the stage of concept design. The widely used RETScreen simulation tool was used for optimization. Currently, the RETScreen tool itself does not provide a function for optimization of the design parameters. In this study, an optimizer was combined with the software. A comparative study was performed to evaluate the RETScreen-based approach with the case study of a solar heating system in an office building. The optimized results using the RETScreen model were compared to previously published results with the TRNSYS model. The objective function of the optimization is the life-cycle cost of the system. The optimized design results from the RETScreen model showed good agreement with the optimized TRNSYS results for the solar collector area and storage volume, but presented a slight difference for the collector slope angle in terms of the converged direction of the solutions. The energy cost, life-cycle cost, and thermal performance regarding collector efficiency, system efficiency, and solar fraction were compared as well, and the RETScreen model showed good agreement with the TRNSYS model for the conditions of the base case and optimized design.

The close relationship with points and lines is important to operate the project of trail construction in area form effectively. Subject of the project of Theme trail construction of area form must become the village residents which are being contiguous in trail. They must operate management and about trail. The project of Trail construction of area form the plan making is established and if the subjects which, will operate and manage that place are decided upon according to theme must construct the trail of the wide area concept which connects the trail of that trail and neighborhood. If becomes like that local resident and the citizen will be able to coexist with mediation of Trail. If the project of Trail construction of village resident leading is propelled applying rural amenity resources in a way, the trail model which one phases advances could be presented for ecological, economical and cultural.

구아리노 구아리니의 종교 건축에서 나타나는 생성 다이어그램에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Generative Diagram in Guarino Guarini's Religious Buildings)

  • Guarino Guarini(1624-1683) is one of great Baroque architects who developed new spatial concept in architecture. He refused to static space typically appeared in Renaissance architecture. Instead, to make it possible to generate complicate form and moving space, he made use of generative diagram. It provide him with an abstract machine to generate automatically architectural inferiority. His generative diagram consists of three types: single circle diagram, matrix diagram and longitudinal diagram. The first diagram uses single circle as primary generator and develop this by means of overlap and equiangular division. La Cappella della Santissima Sindone, Sanctuary of Chiesa di Oropa, Chiesa dei Padri Somaschi, San Gaetano are designed according to this diagram. The generator of the second diagram is nine circles in $3{\times}3$ matrix, which provide the base for the interpenetration of space in Guarini's architecture. He inspired this diagram from Kepler's $\ulcorner$Harmonices mundi$\lrcorner$. The Churches of San Lorenzo, Ste-Anne-la-Royale, San Filippo Neri, San Gaetano are generated by this diagram. The third diagram has several circles in Lantin-cross plan. Guarini adopted this diagram because he had chances to design several churches in Northern Europe. The churches of Santa Maria di Ettinga, Immacolata Concezione, San Maria della Divina Providenza, Church without Name, San Filippo Neri are representative examples for this diagram.
