This paper investigates the current status of the acquisition of information resources at the domestic hospitals. First of all, as a theoretical background, the concept of hospital information systems and the acquisition of information resources are reviewed. Second, as a research methodology, samples, data collection methods, and data analysis methods are discussed. Third, research hypotheses, operational definitions of the research variables and measurement are discussed. Fourth, as research results, characteristics of the samples and the current situations of the acquisition of information rourses are discussed based on the five research hypotheses.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of ω-expansive of random map on compact metric spaces 𝓟. Also we introduce the definitions of positively, negatively shadowing property and shadowing property for two-sided RDS. Then we show that if 𝜑 is ω-expansive and has the shadowing property for ω, then 𝜑 is topologically stable for ω.

Voronoi diagrams are powerful for solving spatial problems among particles and have been used in many disciplines of science and engineering. In particular, the Voronoi diagram of three-dimensional spheres, also called the additively-weighted Voronoi diagram, has proven its powerful capabilities for solving the spatial reasoning problems for the arrangement of atoms in both molecular biology and material sciences. In order to solve application problems, the dual structure, called the quasi-triangulation, and its derivative structure, called the beta-complex, are frequently used with the Voronoi diagram itself. However, the Voronoi diagram, the quasi-triangulation, and the beta-complexes are sometimes regarded as somewhat difficult for ordinary users to understand. This paper presents the two-dimensional counterparts of their definitions and introduce the BetaConcept program which implements the theory so that users can easily learn the powerful concept and capabilities of these constructs in a plane. The BetaConcept program was implemented in the standard C++ language with MFC and OpenGL and freely available at Voronoi Diagram Research Center (http://voronoi.hanyang.ac.kr).

Many research papers on the college students' functional concept show they have poor understanding on this topic. To compare the results with that of Korean students, four interrelated topics are chosen: How do they understand the concept of function?; what are their misconceptions including epistemological obstacles?; How do the function concepts develop and are acquired? For this a survey has been conducted to 95 engineering students just before they start Calculus course. We have done research on other major areas including psychology, economics and statistics to see how function is defined in these areas. Function definitions from US math text books are also introduced. Based on the these and the survey, some suggestions are made on the new curriculum which treat function as a correspondence relation. Vertical line test should be added to the Algebra II/Pre calculus course to check the univalent property.

In this paper, the 'facility' and its related concepts were analysed, and then ontological conceptual definition for the facility was conducted based on a variety of relationships between those concepts. First, as a facility conception relation, inclusion relation, instance relation, rule relation, attribute relation and part-whole relationships were investigated. Second, facility concepts were prescribed as a physical entity in which many parts were functionally integrated. Third, by strictly separating the basic concept and role concept, reading facility, exhibit facility, etc. were not supposed to make multiple inheritances by putting subordinate concepts as those of role concepts, not those of the concept of facility. Fourth and lastly, an ontology for the facility was made by using OWL DL.

This paper proposes a new concept of comonotonicity of uncertain vector based on the uncertainty theory. In order to understand the comonotonicity of uncertain vector, some equivalent definitions are presented. Following the proposed concept, some basic properties of comonotonic uncertain vector are investigated. In addition, the operational law is given for calculating the uncertainty distributions of monotone functions of comonotonic uncertain variables. With the help of operational law, the comonotonic uncertain vector is applied to the premium pricing problems. At last, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the application.

The rapidly growing at which information is produced and used in our complex society has presented us with major problems in information transfer. Resource sharing is almost universally accepted by librarians as the only realistic means for meeting future demands and no doubt the future will see continued growth in computer-based library networks for resource sharing. The resort to networking by many library and information institutions may be symptomatic of the difficulties they face in dealing with their rapidly changing environment. In this article, the library network is examined in relationship to resource sharing. Included is a discussion of the definitions of library network and other related terms, the main factors in the emergence of library network concept, the history of the concept of library networks, resource sharing through the library networks, the problems by which the development of networks is confronted, and prospects.

A study to synthesize the recent concept and significance of quality and quality control has been performed in this paper. With understanding the recent market and manufacturing environment, we first discuss the significance of quality from the system view point. Then the existing definitions of quality have been rigourously examined and some significant features embeded in them have been derived. Through this examination, we specifically address "endless-effort for improvement" with three key elements required for successful implementation in quality control programs. Taguchi's quadratic loss function with regard to the addressed quality concept has also been discussed. Finally, we conclude this study with providing a view toward the development of new models.

This paper is to clarify the concepts of "sound home" and "healthy family" Even though "sound home" and "healthy family have different meanings and definitions. many researchers are using them in a mixed ways. Therefore through this paper I tried to make distinction of the meanings of the above concepts as below: 1. Sound Home : Basic and fundamental social units and environment which have strong and healthy family members and performs well not only family function but also have attitudes and willingness to perform family function and maintain their family value and ethics. 2. Healthy Family : Social units which have strong and healthy family members and develop individual personal development -their physical emotional social moral development and self-esteem self-achievemet -and have good interaction enhancement skills- communication decision making stress managing strategies- and also maintain family systems. Whereas "sound home" is more broad concept related to Home Econom cs "healthy family" is more related family relations and interaction.quot; is more related family relations and interaction.

This article explored the perceptions of ‘family’and the factors related to respondents' definitions of a family. The data were collected from two types of people: one was 472 university students and high school students' parents who were asked whether or not each of 22 scenarios represented a‘family’, and the other was 40 young and middle-aged adults who were asked,“what is a family member?”. Results showed that (1) the overwhelming majority of respondents considered a married couple without a child(scenario #5) as a family and the least respondents agreed a divorced couple(scenario #18) as a family, (2) the majority perceived consanguinity, co-residence, parental status, and marital status to be important in the definition of a family, (3) middle-aged adults were more likely than young generation to agree that consanguinity and paternal relations were important in determining what a family member is.
