PURPOSE: Computerization using ICF as a protocol can enhance the assessment, communication, and decision-making of various disciplines and cultures, individual functions, disabilities and health to promote communication and understanding among various professionals, organizations, and countries. The empirical foundation for these propositions was provided by delineating of six distinct computerization components. METHODS: This study analyzed 14 papers that combined the medical field and information technology to activate the ICF through computerization. From each of these papers, distinctive advantages were extracted to propose six computerization elements. The validity of these computerization elements was examined. These papers encompass various computerization elements, among which core elements were identified. In particular, six common core elements were extracted from these papers and assumed to be strategic computerization components for ICF activation. A heuristic methodology was employed to validate these components, representing IT technology maturity using four determining indices, which were then presented graphically for validation attempts. RESULTS: Four quantified indices were defined: reliability, cost-effectiveness, support and updates, and collaboration. Using these indices, this study identified elements that leverage existing IT technologies and require new development. The possibility of increasing utility was identified by applying computerization to ICF. CONCLUSION: This study examined the strategic elements of utilizing ICF by computerizing it using a protocol concept and discussed its potential for utilization. The potential to enhance the value of information in social, physical, and cultural contexts was presented by integrating various domains and data within the ICF framework.

1. Introduction Korean society is moving toward an information society in 2000. At present a few Korean libraries are computerized and networks between libraries have yet to be formed. And there is no study done on the computerization of the Korean libraries. Therefore, this study will attempt to find elements that influence the computerization of Korean libraries. This research is composed of the following three parts. 1) Survey on the present status of computerized Korean libraries. 2) The influencing factors for Korean library computerization on the level of organization. 3) The relationship between professionalism and the access to the computer information on the level of librarians. 2. Hypothesis The basic hypothesis of this research is from the theory of the innovation of organization by Moch. He found that the size of the organization, specialization of the staffs, the task differentiation, and decentralization of decision making were the underlying influence for the organizational innovation. From this theory, hypothesis were formulated as follows. 1) The size of the library influences the library computerization. 2) Specialization of the librarians influences the library computerization. 3) Differentiation of the library services influences the library computerization. 4) The decision making process influences the library computerization. 3. Collection of the data Questionnaires were sent to 21 computerized libraries among which were 8 experimental group and 7 other controlled group libraries. Data were collected from April to July 1988. 4. Findings 1) The present status of Korean library computerization. -Korean libraries are computerized mostly in cataloguing. -The computer technology gate-keepers are mainly librarians. -The computerization budgets are not specifically allocated or funded by the organization but librarians made decisions to allocate library budget for the computer application. Gradually, more libraries are being funded specially for library computerization. 2) Factors that influence library computerization. -The size of the western books and the number of western periodical subscription influence the library computerization. -The number of annual book increase influences library computerization. -The number of annual book use influences library computerization. -The number of annual library users does not influences library computerization. - The size of the library budget influences the library computerization. -Librarian's specialization influences the library computerization. -Differentiation of library service influences the library computerization. Information service is positively related to the library computerization while data service is not related to the library computerization. -Decentralization of decision making in library service influences the library computerization.

General purpose programs are essential elements for the computerization of structural analysis. This paper is associated with actual formulation of such programs by matrix analysis. The basic theory of matrix analysis for skeletal structures, its implementation and techniques for developing efficient programs are discussed in this paper. Any shape of skeletal structure can be included in a single program for space frames. But in order to economize computing time and computer memory space, it is desirable to develop and operate seperate programs specialized into four categories; truss, planar frame, grid and space frame. As for general purpose programs, simplicity of input format and flexibility of output format should be duly considered. Compaction and solution of system equations are the most important aspects in computer programming of matrix analysis, and worth further study for more efficient computerization.
The purposes of this study were to investigate importance level and performance frequency of the dietitians' duties and task elements, to examine the actual condition of education and need for education, to analyze the interrelation between their tasks and education, and to provide the direction of education for the contracted Business & Industry (B & I) foodservice dietitians. The task elements of receiving, ordering, HACCP management and directing serving process were done almost every day. In terms of the importance of tasks, food sanitation management, personnel sanitation management, receiving and ordering were high. Meanwhile, the computerization of their works was being carried out on the whole, showing a higher frequency in all the details of procurement management and accounting management, as well as task elements such as menu planning, leftover and food waste management, HACCP management and human resource management. In the past three years, HACCP management, cost management, planning work schedule and allotting a task, general business and sale bond management were increased most and rapidly. For the actual condition of education, dietitians got more education for the duty of sanitation, safe and facility/utility management than any other duty, while they did less education of procurement management and office management than others. Meanwhile, the education for sanitation, safe and facility/utility management and accounting management were very much required. For the relationships of frequency of duty and the necessity of education, seven task elements including food sanitation management were correlated positively. Eighteen tasks besides menu planning had a significant positive correlation between the importance of duties and the necessity of education.

This paper examines the characteristics of 23 libraries affiliated with educational institutions of the Korean miltary. Materials and data used in this analysis were obtained from a variety of statute books, Korean Library Association publications, past works in military-related research, questionnaires and interviews with library staff. For each military educational institutions, the background to its foundation and Its current operations are briefly reviewed. Library characteristics subjected to analysis pertain to the following 8 areas: location and architecture, stack arrangement, furniture and furnishings, personnel, service elements, budget, book stock, and extent of computerization. The affiliated library (consisting of reading rooms and/or stack rooms) is then classified as belonging to one of the following three levels: graduate-school level (total of 4 libraries), university level (5 libraries), and technical-school level (14 libraries). When necessary. particular libraries are examined in detail. This research reveals that while most graduate-school and university level libraries are being operated on a relatively sound basis, there are significant disparities among university level libraries. As for technical-school level libraries, the lack of professional staff and service elements for users is seriously impairing their operations. In order to address these problems and support military education and research in the age of segyehwa and information, it is suggested that the Korean military formulate comprehensive measures to modernize library facilities and improve their operations.

Computer-aided logistics support system is recognized an essential system to reduce supply and maintenance cost, and to improve readiness of weapon system or operationable composite machines. According to these trends, this paper focuses on the design scheme and the computerization strategy of information management system for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) work. Suggested system. LAMIS(Logistics support Analysis Management Information System) is a total system that composed of Logistics Support Analysis Management information system (LSAM), Configuration Management Information System (CMIS), Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS), Project Management System (PMS) and Information Retrival System(IRS) etc. Also, LAMIS is a computerized tool that improves current supply and maintenance support program, that attempts to reliable requirment analysis of logistics support elements, and that supports to use the existing technical specification of similar one when weapon system acquisition project is started newly. When LAMIS implication is completed, it can be applied to logistics support of defense or commercial site. Straightway, LAMIS will be enhanced with computer - aided design system, engineering drawing system, interactive electronic technical manual system, electronic data interchange system, and three dimensional simulation system to weapon system configuration. When that is done, LAMIS is CALS system.

The study intended to develop KORMARC for archives in order to integrate archives with library materials. The results of the study can be summarized as follows; (1) 2 areas for conservation and physical description are added to the existing 7 areas of ISAD(G)2. The study has also proved that the existing 26 elements of ISAD(G)2 are not fully enough to satisfy the information demands' of institutions and its users as well. (2) For the use of domestic archives in particular, the study has added the description elements of archives that appeared in the Government Regulations of Office Management and those forms of documents that are specified by law for the sake of computerization. The study has added the possible release and grade, release dates, release range, conservation periods, conservation periods, conservation value, the status description of archives elements that are specified in Public Record Management Law. (3) The study has developed the following data fields to be added into KORMARC. 512 creation dates note, 555 finding aids note, 583 action note and 584 accumulation note. Also it reorganizes and adds the indicators of the 245 title statement, 300 physical description 306 playing time, 506 restriction on access note, 534 original version note, 535 location of originals/duplicates note, 540 terms governing use and reproduction notes, 541 immediate source of acquisition note, 545 biographical or historical note, 581 publication note, 850 holding institution data fields.
As for the present wind power industry, most of the computerization for monitoring and control is based on the traditional development methodology, but it is necessary to improve SCADA system since it has a phenomenon of backlog accumulation in the applicable aspect of back-data as well as in the operational aspect in the future. Especially for a system like offshore wind power where a superintendent cannot reside, it is desirable to operate a remote control system. Therefore, it is essential to establish a monitoring system with appropriate control and monitoring inevitably premised on the integrity and independence of data. As a result, a study was carried out on the modeling of offshore wind power data-centered database. In this paper, a logical data modeling method was proposed and designed to establish the database of offshore wind power. In order for designing the logical data modeling of an offshore wind power system, this study carried out an analysis of design elements for the database of offshore wind power and described considerations and problems as well. Through a comparative analysis of the final database of the newly-designed off-shore wind power system against the existing SCADA System, this study proposed a new direction to bring about progress toward a smart wind power system, showing a possibility of a service-oriented smart wind power system, such as future prediction, hindrance-cause examination and fault analyses, through the database integrating various control signals, geographical information and data about surrounding environments.
