The Performance of Supply Chain Management in Textile Fashion Business

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate SCM performance of textile fashion business in a competitive market environment. For the methodology of this study, the questionnaire was developed based upon the literature. 230 questionnaires were distributed to the experts who operate SCM in textile fashion firms. The returned usable 149 were analyzed by SPSS10.0 with multiple regression analysis and Cronbach's Alpha for internal consistency and reliability. The results of this study were as follows: The SCM performance of the textile fashion firms was affected by information system, business environment, and partnership in a descending order. Analyzing on the business environment, CEOs' concern about incorporating SCM and the degree of assistance from government and textile fashion federation impacted the performance of SCM in a descending order. For information system, standardized computerization, information sharing, and computerization with infrastructure on intra/inter business impacted the SCM performance of the firms in a descending order. For partnership, strategic alliance, openness about corporate culture, and credibility of partnership impacted the SCM performance of the firms in a descending order.

  • The maintenance CALS system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance CALS system from 2001 to 2005. The RAMS for management computerization system are utilized in a variety of CALS system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. Ever since its inception though, the urban transit has searched for ways to improve reliability, availability, maintainability and safety of the railway subsystem. In this paper, This system include RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) and expert system of the vehicles shall be enhanced in the future.

  • A various quality data are produced during nuclear fuel fabrication. In order to control quality data efficiently, Computerization of Quality Information System(QIS) using personal computer was established. Database control software and analysis software were developed for QIS. QIS was applied the fuel manufacturing and quality inspection. Quality trend analysis, process control, process capability and quality history docket for nuclear fuel manufacturing were performed by QIS. Through the Quality Information System, quality assurance, quality control, process control and manufacturing engineering were performed efficiently in nuclear fuel manufacturing.

소기업의 IT 지식, IT 커뮤니케이션과 운영 성과와의 관계 분석 (The Effect of IT Knowledge and IT Communication on the Operational Performance of Small Firms)

  • This Paper examines the effect of IT knowledge and IT communication on the operational performance of small firms. Small firms which could be defined firms with less than 50 people in total lags behind medium and large firms in computerization. In order to fill up the computerization gap resulted from size differences, Korean government has been promoting the 'Networking Small Firms' project since 2001. Survey data with 698 small firms in Korea, we could find that If knowledge and IT communication significantly contributed to the operational performance of small firms. Internal process performance is affected by individual IT knowledge, traditional communication, and e-mail communication. Customer performance is affected by above three factors, organizational IT knowledge and internet/EDI communication. Interestingly, financial performance is not affected by traditional communication but only IT knowledge and IT communication.

  • 정부는 중소기업 정보화가 기업 업무효율성을 제고하고 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 핵심동인임을 인지하고 있다. 이에 정부차원의 많은 지원정책이 있었지만, 소기의 성과를 달성하지 못했다. 이런 환경하에서 중소기업의 IT솔루션 도입성과를 측정 하기 위해 기존의 성과측정 방법론과 달리, IT 성과측정에 집중하지 않고 개선방향 제시에 중점을 둔 중소기업 정보화생산성 향상 컨설팅 방법론을 개발하였다. 본 방법론의 각 중소 기업의 시스템 구성평가, 운영 평가, 경영개선 기여도평가를 통해 IT솔루션이 중소기업 경영에 어떻게 기여하고, 어떤 측면을 개선하는 것이 좋은지를 판단할 수 있는 잣대가 되는 방법론이다.

  • 오늘날 전 세계적으로 사회 전 분야에서 컴퓨터화가 진행 중이며, 소프트웨어는 모든 융복합 분야에서 중심 역할을 수행하고 있다. 이러한 정보 환경의 변화는 가치관의 변화와 패러다임의 전환을 주도하고 있으며, 이와 더불어 국내 교육정책 또한 변화하고 있다. 머지않아 인간과 컴퓨터의 상호작용이 일상화됨에 따라 기본적인 소양으로서 코드 리터러시는 중요한 역할을 수행할 것이다. 이러한 변화에도 불구하고 국내 대학 정보화 교육은 시대적 변화를 반영하지 못한 채 사무용 응용프로그램의 단순 활용 능력의 배양에만 그치고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 국내 대학교육에서 디지털리터러시의 배양을 위해 운영 중인 제도적 수단과 교육과정을 종합적으로 살펴본다. 이를 바탕으로 시대적 요구에 부합하는 교육 과정의 토대를 마련하기 위해 교육 수준과 교육 내용에 따른 교육적 요소를 제시한다. 제시하는 교육적 요소는 3가지 교육 내용과 3단계 교육 수준을 결합하여 다섯 가지로 설정하였으며 이를 바탕으로 교육과정의 설계에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Even though Korean medical law stipulates that number of patients attended by a nurse is 2.5 for hospitalization and 30 for ambulatory care, the number of patients cared by a nurse per day is much greater than the standard prescribed by the medical law. Current nursing productivity of nurses is not desirable unless the quality of care considered. Moreover. nursing manpower staffing based on neither current nurses' productivity nor standard of medical law cannot respond properly to dynamic situation of the medical services. As for the nurse scheduling, the critical problem of it in the hospital is determining the day-to-day shift assignments for each nurse for the specified period in a way that satisfies the given requirements of the hospital. Nurse scheduling, however, involves many factors and requirements, manual scheduling requires much time and effort to produce an adequate schedule. Under these backgrounds, the necessity of more efficient management of nursing manpower occupying 1/3 of total hospital workers has been recognized by many nursing administrators. This study was performed to develop a system computerizing nurse staffing and scheduling based on the patient classification. As a preliminary step for the system development, nursing workload in a secondary hospital was measured from Sep. to Oct. 1994. On the grounds of this result, computerization of nurse staffing and scheduling was proceeded with three options. First one is based on the current medical law. Second one is based on the assigned number of nursing staff. And the last is based on the request by patient classification. Computer languages used in this study were MS Visual Basic 3.0 for the staffing and Access 2.0 for the scheduling, respectively. Prospective users may operate this system easily because icons and mouse are used for easier graphic user interface and reducing the need for typing efforts. This system can help nurse administrators manage nursing manpower efficiently and nurses develop quick and easy schedule generation and allow more time for the patient care.

  • 공동주택 개발사업의 타당성 검토는 분양성 및 수익성을 검토하는 부문과 법규, 환경 등의 정성적 부문이 있다. 이러한 타당성 분석업무를 합리적으로 진행하기 위하여 분석모형의 구축이 필요하고 또한 이를 보다 효율적이며 효과적으로 사용할 수 있도록 전산화 방법의 마련이 필요하다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 기설정된 분석대상항목, 항목의 범주, 그 평가기준을 활용하여 타당성 분석모형의 전산화를 구축하고 이의 합리성을 입증하기 위하여 사례 프로젝트를 선정, 기존 방법으로 산출한 타당성 분석 결과와 함께 사례 프로젝트의 실제 분양결과를 모형의 전산화로 적용된 사례 프로젝트 분석결과와 비교 대비하도록 한다. 비교대비결과, 분석모형의 전산화에 의하여 산출된 결과 값이 실제 분양결과와 일정한 상관성이 있음을 보이고 있다. 즉, 사례 프로젝트별 수익성은 모형을 이용한 분석방법이 보다 실제와 접근하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서, 공동주택 개발사업 타당성 분석모형의 전산화에 의한 타당성 분석작업은 보다 효율적이며 타당성 평가예측의 정확도를 높이는 툴(tool)로서 평가된다.
