컴퓨터를 이용한 지구관측 카메라의 광학정렬 (Computer-Aided Alignment of an Earth Observation Camera)

  • 인공위성용 지구관측 카메라나 천문관측 망원경에는 무게와 부피의 제약 때문에 Cassegrain 방식 망원경이 많이 쓰인다. 이와 같은 위성용 광학계의 성공적인 임무 수행을 위해서는 광학계의 정밀 정렬이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 인공위생용 지구관측 카메라인 MAC (Medium-sized Aperture Camera)의 조립 과정에 적용된 컴퓨터를 이용한 광학정렬 방법의 모사와 정렬실험 결과를 정리한다.

Experimental Sensitivity Table Method for Precision Alignment of Amon-Ra Instrument

  • The Amon-Ra instrument is the main optical payload of the proposed EARTHSHINE satellite. It consists of a visible wavelength instrument and an IR energy channel instrument to measure a global Earth albedo. We report a new sensitivity technique for efficient alignment of the visible channel instrument. Whilst the sensitivity table method has been widely used in the alignment process, the straightforward application of the method tends to produce slow process convergence because of shop floor alignment practice uncertainties. We investigated the error sources commonly associated with alignment practices and used them when estimating the Zernike polynomial coefficients. Aided with single center field wavefront error (WFE) measurements and their corresponding Zernike polynomial coefficients, the method involves the construction and use of an experimental, instead of simulated, sensitivity table to be used for alignment state estimations. A trial alignment experiment for the Amon Ra optical system was performed and the results show that 71.28 nm in rms WFE was achieved only after two alignment iterations. This tends to demonstrate its superior performance to the conventional method.

  • 본 논문에서는 번역 지원 시스템을 위한 유사문장 검색 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 Needleman- Wunsch 알고리즘에 기반을 두고 있으며, 단어의 비교를 위해 단어의 표면어 정보, 표제어 정보, 품사 정보 계층으로 된 다층 정보의 융합을 통해 유사도를 계산하고 정렬을 수행하게 된다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 전기통신 분야의 문장 데이터에 대해 매우 우수한 검색 정확률을 보였다.

CAD/CAI 통합에 기초한 박형 단면을 가지는 항공기 터빈블레이드의 정밀측정기술 개발 (Development of Precision Inspection Technique for Aircraft Parts Having Very Thin Features on CAD/CAI Integration)

  • In this paper, a precision inspection technique using CAD/CAI integration is proposed for the parts having very thin and sharp 3 dimensional curve features. The technique begings with feature reconstruction of turbine blades which have 3 dimensional combined feometry, such as splines, and thin circles. The alifnment procedures consistsb of two phases-rough and fine phases : rough phase alignment is based on the conventional 6 point5s probing on the clear cut surfacef, and fine phase alignment is based on the intial measurement on the 3 dimensional curved parts using an lterative measurement feed-back least sequares technique for alignment. Forf the analysis of profile tolerance of parts, the actual measured points are obtained by finding the closet points on the CAD geometry by the developed subdivision technique and the Tschebycheff norm is applied based on iterative fashion, giving accurate profile tolerance value. The developed inspection technique is applied to practical procedures of blade manufacturing and demonstrated high performance.

Modeling Alignment Experiment Errors for Improved Computer-Aided Alignment

  • Contrary to the academic interests of other existing studies elsewhere, this study deals with how the alignment algorithms such as sensitivity or Differential Wavefront Sampling (DWS) can be better used under effects from field, compensator positioning and environmental errors unavoidable from the shop-floor alignment work. First, the influences of aforementioned errors to the alignment state estimation was investigated with the algorithms. The environmental error was then found to be the dominant factor influencing the alignment state prediction accuracy. Having understood such relationship between the distorted system wavefront caused by the error sources and the alignment state prediction, we used it for simulated and experimental alignment runs for Infrared Optical System (IROS). The difference between trial alignment runs and experiment was quite close, independent of alignment methods; 6 nm rms for sensitivity method and 13 nm rms for DWS. This demonstrates the practical usefulness and importance of the prior error analysis using the alignment algorithms before the actual alignment runs begin. The error analysis methodology, its application to the actual alignment of IROS and their results are described together with their implications.

  • 달 탐사에 있어 로버 활용의 필요성은 (구)소련과 중국의 사례와 미국의 수차례에 걸친 화성 탐사로 인해 입증되었다. 달 탐사 로버의 성공적인 운용을 위해서는 높은 정밀도의 항법 성능이 요구되며, 이를 위해서는 높은 정밀도의 초기 정렬이 필수적이다. 일반적으로는 단일 위치 정렬을 수행하나, 높은 수준의 초기 정렬 성능이 필요한 경우 다중위치 정렬을 수행한다. 하지만, 달 환경의 제약으로 인해 달 탐사 로버의 초기 정렬 성능은 지구환경에 비하여 떨어지게 되며, 이는 다중위치 정렬을 수행하여도 극복할 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 태양 센서를 보조로 활용한 달 환경에서의 다중위치 정렬 기법을 제안한다. 태양 벡터의 측정치 모델을 구성하고, 이에 대한 가관측성 분석을 수행하였다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 분석하였고, 그 결과 초기 자세 추정 성능이 크게 향상되었음을 확인하였다.

수치영상을 이용한 도로평면선형 추출 (Extraction of Road Horizontal Alignment Using Digital Imagery)

  • Data acquired from digital Imagery were processed via Delphi, an object-oriented programming language to develop a computer aided program, that allows us to build up the information on road horizontal alignment(BC, EC, R, IP). And the developed program could maximize the visual effects better than traditional programs, because it used many image data. Comparing with data from traditional horizontal alignment extraction programs based on the principle of least square method, the data acquired by horizontal alignment information and kinematic GPS out of the developed road information systems showed the enhanced accuracy of IP value up to about 2m in the direction of X, Y axes, where the accuracy of curve radius(R) becomes enhanced up to about 2.5 m.
