  • There are Carrier Current Communication or Power line Carrier (PLC) Communication conducted data exchange using power line Which is installed existing indoor. Power line is possible to construct data link economically, on the other hand, have an inferior transmission environment such as irregular noise and severe level variation. The purpose of this paper is to present transmission possibility for PLC using spread spectrum technique. In the initial synchronization, established computer simulation for the S/N in relation to PN code generator. By using this result, construct the prototype SS system and then experiment the transmission characteristics.

  • This paper proposes a decentralized control technique for 2-dimensional experimental helicopter systems. The decentralized control technique is especially suitable in large-scale control systems. We derive the stabilization condition for the interconnected Takagi-Sugeno (75) fuzzy system using the rigorous tool - Lyapunov stability criterion and formulate the controller design condition in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method, we include the experiment result as well as a computer simulation one, which strongly convinces us the applicability to the industry.

  • In switched reluctance motors(SRM), shaft position sensing is essential in order to synchronize the excitation pulse of a pertinent phase to the rotor position. This paper describes the operation of SRM drive using a simple position sensor of low cost. The position sensor is composed of a slotted disk similar to the rotor core shape of a prototype 6/4 SRM and three opto-interrupters disposed at an angle of 30 degrees. The phase current waveforms measured at several rotor speeds in experiment arc compared with those obtained through the computer simulation.

  • A combined CPG (Central Pattern Generator) based foot trajectory and GA (Genetic Algorithm) based joint compensation method is presented for adaptive humanoid walking. In order to increase an adaptability of humanoid walking for rough terrains, the experiment for rolling terrains are introduced. The CPG based foot trajectory method has been successfully applied to basic slops and variable slops, but has a limitation for the rolling terrains. The experiments are conducted in an ODE based Webots simulation environment using humanoid robot Nao to verify a stability of walking for various rolling terrains. The proposed method is compared to the previous CPG foot trajectory technique and shows better performance especially for the cascade rolling terrains.

  • A claw pole stepping motor is widely used in various fields such as a compact optical disk drive, computer peripherals, digital cameras, office automation(OA), handheld mobile devices, because it has the suitable structure for compact motor. However 3D analysis is essential for design of Claw pole stepping motor because of axial flux path. Thus, in general, it takes a lot of time in the design of Claw pole motor. In this paper, magnetic equivalent circuit considering axial flux was proposed to reduce design time of Claw pole motor and we has designed by using the magnetic equivalent circuit. In addition, in oder to verify the study, design model was verified by 3D FEM simulation and experiment.

  • The dynamic false contour noise was analyzed with consideration for the phosphor decay time of an ac PDP by computer simulation based on the measurement of the 1/10 phosphor decay times of the primary colors red, green and blue at the main wavelengths of each phosphor. The noise level of dynamic false contour is strongly dependent on phosphor decay time. The noise level decreases incrementally with the phosphor decay time, whereas the noise width increases. The moving velocity of an object does not affect the noise level. The entire experiment was performed under the condition of 8 subfields ADS driving scheme, 2.5[${\mu}sec$] scan speed, and 5[${\mu}sec$] sustain period with VGA grade panel.

  • Recently, SynRM has been focused by many researchers and there has been a lot of works for the industrial application of SynRM. In spite of several merits of SynRM, the information of exact rotor position is also required to perform the precise torque control, which causes the increment of cost and demerits SynRM to use in industrial application. Therefore, we studied sensorless control algorithm for the torque control of SynRM to overcome the demerits. Specially we proposed simple algorithm to estimate rotor position using trigonometric function, verified with computer simulation and experiment.

  • This paper presents the directly obtained rotational viscosity values of E7, which includes pentylcyanobiphenol, heptylcyanobiphenol, 4-cyano-4'-n-octyloxy-1,1'-biphenyl, and 4-cyano-4"-n-pentyl-1,1',1"-terphenyl, at various tempe using molecular dynamics computer simulation. The director mean squared displacement was achieved from the squared displacement of the mean director using the concept of the mean director of various nematic liquid crystals. The calculated values were compared with the experiment results that predicted a good agreement. Additional points that must be considered for further study are also discussed.

  • This paper presents a precision voltage control technique of a single phase PWM inverter for a constant voltage and constant frequency(CVCF) applications. The proposed control employes a PLL compensating loop which minimize the steady state error and phase delay. The computer simulation and experiment are carried out for the actual single phase PWM inverter and the results well demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control.
