  • Caladium bicolor is one of the most popular plants in Thailand. The original species of Caladium bicolor was found a hundred years ago. Until now, there are more than 500 species through multiplication. The classification of Caladium bicolor can be done by using its color and shape. This study aims to develop a model to classify Caladium bicolor using a transfer learning technique. This work also presents a proof of concept, GUI design, and web application deployment using the user-design-center method. We also evaluated the performance of the following pre-trained models in this work, and the results are as follow: 87.29% for AlexNet, 90.68% for GoogleNet, 93.59% for XceptionNet, 93.22% for MobileNetV2, 89.83% for RestNet18, 88.98% for RestNet50, 97.46% for RestNet101, and 94.92% for InceptionResNetV2. This work was implemented using MATLAB R2023a.

  • The present study was based on developing an AI based model to facilitate the academic registration needs of blind students. The model was developed to enable blind students to submit academic service requests and tasks with ease. The findings from previous studies formed the basis of the study where functionality gaps from the literary research identified by blind students were utilized when the system was devised. Primary simulation data were composed based on several thousand cases. As such, the current study develops a model based on archival insight. Given that the model is theoretical, it was partially applied to help determine how efficient the associated AI tools are and determine how effective they are in real-world settings by incorporating them into the portal that institutions currently use. In this paper, we argue that voice-activated personal assistant (VAPA), text mining, bag of words, and case-based reasoning (CBR) perform better together, compared with other classifiers for analyzing and classifying the text in academic request submission through the VAPA.

  • The rapid increase in the use of new technology known as 'blockchain technologies' has addressed many challenges in different areas and provided benefits to users, in this paper we discuss the field of supply chains, improve confidence and transparency between participants and stakeholders significantly also in this paper we Compare between different blockchain frameworks focusing on most popular frameworks. Moreover, we proposed a model in the supply chain using a blockchain framework, the proposed supply chain model included many different resources that help to exchange information over the network. The proposed model also includes smart contracts that maintain all rules for transactions. using blockchain technology information such as transaction details, time and money are recorded and stored within the system from the beginning of the transaction entry.

  • This study is conducted with an educational institution to minimize the potential security hazards to an acceptable level where the vulnerabilities and threats are revealed in this institution. The paper provides a general structure for the risk management process in educational institutions, and some recommendation that increases security levels is presented.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate studesnts' attitudes toward computers and science subject using CAI(Computer-Assisted Instruction) as an instructional strategy in the elementary school level of science and computer literacy course. The influence of CAI programs on learner's attitudes toward computers and science varied according to the variables of,(l)sex (2)experience by computer learning, (3)learner's attitudes toward computers and science. Eighty nine samples were divided into the two groups. One group(48 studesnts)which is in the experimental group took a science instruction using CAI programs and computer literacy course, another group which is in the control group took only a science instruction using CAI programs. Data were collected and compared the experimental group with the control group. The results indicate as follows:(l) studesnts took science instruction using the CAI programs appeared a positive attitudes toward science. (2) the science attitudes of science instruction using the CAI programs was more effective in the lower group than in the upper group. (3) computer literacy course produced the positive attitude toward computers regardless of the experience by computer learning. (4) students using CAI programs with computer literacy course were more effective than students using CAI program only. (5) science instruction using the CAI programs was not found a meaningful difference by sex.

  • This paper proposes a distributed algorithm to maintain the Delaunay triangulation of moving points. We assume that every point is a processor which can only communicate with the adjacent points connected by edges in the Delaunay triangulation. The topology changes of the Delaunay triangulation due to the movement of the points are updated automatically by local operations of the points without any centralized processor or global information.

  • The world health organization classified the emerging coronavirus (known as Covid-19) as a pandemic after confirming the extent of spread and scale. As a matter of fact, outbreaks of similar scale or even worse have been witnessed throughout history. Thus, the development of prevention strategies exists to protect against such calamaties. One of the widely proven measures that controls the spread of any contagious diseases is social distancing. As a result, this paper will demonstrate the concept of an application "Be Aware" on enabling the implementation of this preventive measure. In particular "Be aware" evaluates the extent of congestion in public places using current time data. The proposed project will use Global Positioning System (GPS), and Application Programming Interface (API), to ensure information accuracy, and the API use Crowdsourcing to collect Real-Time Data (RTD) from the selected places. • The emergence of COVID-19 virus has shaken almost every aspect of human life including but not limited to social, financial, and economic changes. One of the most significant impacts was obviously healthcare. Now though the pandemic has been over, its aftereffects are still there. Among them, a prominent one is people lifestyle. Work from home, enhanced screen time, limited mobility and walking habits, junk food, lack of sleep etc. are several factors that have still been affecting human health. Consequently, diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety etc. have been emerging at a speed never witnessed before and it mainly includes the people at young age. The situation demands an early prediction, detection, and warning system to alert the people at risk. AI and Machine learning has been investigated tremendously for solving the problems in almost every aspect of human life, especially healthcare and results are promising. This study focuses on reviewing the machine learning based approaches conducted in detection and prediction of diabetes especially during and post pandemic era. That will help find a research gap and significance of the study especially for the researchers and scholars in the same field.
