CNC에 실장한 고장진단 및 원격 서비스 시스템 (CNC Implemented Fault Diagnosis and Remote-Service System)

  • The faults diagnosis of machine tool, which is controlled by CNC(Computer Numerical Control) and PLC(Programmable Logic Controller), is generally based on ladder diagram of PLC because sequential controls for CNC and servo motor are mostly processed in PLC. However, when fault is occurred, a searching of logical relationship for fault reasons is required a lot of diagnosis experiences and times because PLC program has step structure. In this paper, FDS(Fault Diagnosis System) is developed and implemented to machine tool with open architecture controller in order to find the reason of fault fast and correctly. The diagnosed reasons for fault are remote serviced on web through developed RSS(Remote Service System). The operationability and usefulness of developed system are evaluated on specially manufactured machine tool with open architecture CNC. The results of this research can be the model of remote monitoring and fault diagnosis system of machine tool with open architecture CNC.

  • In this paper, as a compatible software radio transmission system, Digital-Radio conversion system which can directly change the digital signal generated by the logic circuit into radio signal is proposed. By the vector synthesis method, the digital signals can change directly into radio signal. If such a circuit is realized, RF circuit and an antenna can be composed by the simple one device, and the radio is directly controlled and performed by the software processing which is the essence of software radio. This Digital-Radio conversion system of this paper give many number of communication channels being offered by PN code and offer a hardware design flexibility by digitization, therefore it decrease the percentage ratio of hardware of system and give a more flexible function of software basis. In this paper, this proposed Digital-Radio conversion system is called D/R converter, and the principle of this D/R converter, radio signal generation algorithm is explained and the performance characteristics of proposed algorithm is shown in time base by the computer simulation method.

SIP 환경에서의 새로운 다중 프레즌스 서버 구조 (A New Multiple Presence Servers Architecture in SIP Environment)

  • SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 환경에서의 프레즌스 서버는 사용자로부터 다수의 프레즌스 자원의 주소를 담은 SIP SUBSCRIBE 요청 메시지를 처리해야하고 등록한 프레즌스 자원에서 발생하는 다량의 통지 메시지도 처리해야 하므로 사용자 수가 증가 할수록 프레즌스서버의 부하가 크게 증가하여 확장성의 제한을 받게된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 사용자 수의 증가에 따라 동적으로 프레즌스 서버가 추가되고 각 프레즌스 서버의 부하를 효율적으로 제어 할 수 있는 다중 프레즌스 서버 구조를 제안하였다. 여기서 각 프레즌스 서버들은 본 논문에서 새롭게 제시한 프레즌스 부하 제어 이벤트 패키지를 사용하여 전체 프레즌스 시스템의 현재 부하 상태를 실시간으로 파악할 수 있다. 특정 프레즌스 서버의 부하가 지정된 한도 이상으로 증가하는 경우 부하 분산을 위하여 전체 프레즌스 시스템에서 가장 부하가 적은 프레즌스 서버를 선택하여 프레즌스 서비스 처리를 분산시키거나 새로운 프레즌스 서버를 동적으로 생성한다. 따라서 이와 같은 구조를 사용하여 프레즌스 시스템의 전체 부하를 적절히 제어 할 수 있으며 확장성도 아울러 높일 수 있게 된다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 프레즌스 부하 제어를 위한 새로운 프레즌스 부하 제어 이벤트 패키지 및 프레즌스 정보 데이터 포맷이 제시되었다. 제안된 시스템의 성능은 실험을 통하여 분석하였고 SIP SUBSCRIBE 메시지 처리시간에서 44.3%, SIP 통지 메시지 처리 시간에서 43.1% 향상됨을 보여주고 있다.

  • Advantages of switched reluctance motor(SRM) drives make it an attractive candidate for replacing adjustable speed ac and dc drives in both industrial and consumer applications. Furthermore, a simple, low cost and robust SRM drive can be efficiently operated in the hostile environment of an automobile. Generally, the speed control of SRM has a large step change or large torque reference, the output of its PI controller is often saturated. When this happens, the integral state is not consistent with the SRM input, while may give rise to the windup phenomenon. This paper proposes anti-windup control method for SRM speed control system by hysteresis current controlled asymmetry bridge converter. The experimental results show that the speed response has much improved performance, such as a small overshoot and fast settling time at the acceleration and particulary deceleration period with braking mode.

  • UHF 대역과 13.56MHz를 동시에 지원하는 단일 패키지의 Multi band RFID 리더를 설계하고 SIP (System in Package)로 구현하였다. 제안된 리더 시스템은 UHF 대역에서 많이 사용되는 EPC Class1 Gen.2 표준과 HF대역인 13.56MHz에서 사용하는 ISO14443 A/B, ISO15693 프로토콜을 지원하고, RISC 코어에 탑재된 내장형 S/W에 의하여 동작 모드를 선택하도록 설계되었다. 제작된 시스템은 $40mm{\times}40mm$, 4 layer의 SiP 위에 구성되어 있으며 3.3V의 단일 공급전압으로 최대 210mA의 전류소모를 통해 13.56MHz의 경우 최대 5cm, UHF 대역의 경우 최대 20cm 인식거리를 실현하였다.

강인한 서보계설계와 R/C헬리콥터 트레이닝 시뮬레이터 제어에의 응용 (Design of robust servo systems and application to control of training simulator for radio-controlled helicopter)

  • In this paper, a new construction for training simulator of R/C helicopter based on two types of servo controller is proposed. Two modified algorithms (algorithm I and II) for servo controller design are presented. Algorithm I is developed by adopting Davison's method in the case that the expressions for the homogeneous differential equations of reference input and disturbance are different types, and algorithm II is done by considering error weighting function for the servo controller of algorithm I . The linear fractional transformation method is incorporated in both design methods in order to assign the closed loop poles of the servo system in a specified region. The helicopter simulator is composed by the gimbals with two freedom of rolling and pitching. The reliability and validity for the design methods of the proposed servo controller are investigated through the practical experiment for the simulator by using 16bits micro-computer with A/D and D/A converters. It can be observered from the experimental results that the proposed servo controller is applicable to practical plants since the simulator is robust for the arbitrary disturbance and it follows to the given reference input without significant steady state error.

한국의 EIA 자료와 그의 활용 (Data for EIA and Its Presentation in Korea)

  • Increasing concern for the environment in Korea has led to the demand that major policies and large-scale development projects be subjected to detailed impact assessment. This paper reports on the state of data related to the prediction of the environmental impact (EIA) to emphasize the importance of data quality. Environmental impact statements (EIS) consulted with the Ministry of Environment of Korea were analyzed from 1981 through 1992. Many of assessors used existing data and collected supplementary data from field survey. Most of the results of EIA are presented directly or summarized on maps and as graphics. For the national purpose, large source of quality-controlled data such as atmospheric data have been developed, However, there are the deficiency in data to analyze the impact of human activity, and data gaps and incompatibilities among systems. Consequently, the development of data bank systems including computer database and remotely-sensed satellite data is required to improve the quality of data which are relevant to EIA. The data bank system should be organized meaningfully in minimum time with a least cost, and measurement standards must be made explicit. Geographical information systems (GIS) are applicable to the graphic presentation or to the impact prediction model.

반구형 공진 자이로의 동작모델과 기초 제어특성 실험 (Dynamic Models of Hemispherical Resonator Gyros and Tests of Basic Control Characteristics)

  • This article focuses on a hemispherical resonator gyro driven by the Coriolis effect. The operational principle of resonator gyros and mathematical models are introduced. These models are useful to explain the behavior of a resonator and to design controllers. Several control tests of a resonator have been done. A resonator has been excited by electromagnets controlled by a computer. Its amplitude has been adjusted by a PI control. The transient response is matched with a simulation result based on a mathematical model. A vibrating pattern may drift due to non-uniform factors of a resonator. The drift of the vibrating pattern is controlled and aligned to a reference direction by a PI control. These results are very useful to understand the behavior of resonator gyros and to design advanced control algorithm for better performance.

Adaptive Control of Peak Current Mode Controlled Boost Converter Supplied by Fuel Cell

  • Adaptive control of a peak current mode controlled (PCM) boost converter supplied by a PEM fuel cell is described in this paper. The adaptive controller with reference model and signal adaptation is developed in order to compensate the deviation of the response during the change of the operating point. The procedure for determining the adaptive algorithm's weighting coefficients, based on a combination of the pole-zero placement method and an optimization method is proposed. After applying the proposed procedure, the optimal adaptive algorithm's weighting coefficients can be determined in just a few iterations, without the use of a computer, thus greatly facilitating the application of the algorithm in real systems. Simulation and experimental results show that the dynamic behavior of a highly nonlinear control system with a fuel cell and a PCM boost converter, can fairly accurately be described by the dynamic behavior of the reference model, i.e., a linear system with constant parameters.

  • 본 논문에서는 모델과 플랜트의 완전 모델 추종 제어 조건이나 명확한 매개변수 추정자를 필요로 하지않는 직접적응제어방식을 이용한 직류전동기의 정밀속도 제어장치가 제안되었다. MC-68000 microcomputor를 이용한 실제적 시스템뿐만 아니라 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 역시 이산적인 직접적응제어 알고리듬으로 구성되었으며, 전동기의 출력이 부하에 의한 외란과 매개변수의 변동에서도 기준 입력을 잘 추동함을 알 수 있었다. 적용된 알고리듬은 소프트웨어와 하드웨어적으로 모두 간단하며 효과적인 특성을 가지고 있다.
