Objective: This study was designed to identify factors affecting pilots' +Gz tolerance recovery from +Gz induced exhaustion. Background: +Gz tolerance of pilots has been considered as a crucial factor to fly the modern high performance fighter aircrafts. However, the factors affecting pilots' G-tolerance recovery from +Gz induced exhaustion have not been examined in the acceleration research community. Method: A centrifuge profile consisting of a high +Gz run for pilot's exhaustion and a low +Gz run for pilot's recovery and another high +Gz runs for pilot's second exhaustion was designed. The subjects' +Gz tolerance recovery ratio was measured by ratio of second high +Gz run time to the first high +Gz run time. The subjects' +Gz tolerance recovery rate was measured by dividing the subjects' +Gz tolerance recovery ratio by the low +Gz run time. The subjects' G-tolerance recovery rate was analyzed with respect to the subjects' personal factors including subjects' anthropometric and physiologic characteristics, flight time, flying aircraft type and so on. Results: The subjects' previous three-month flight hours (r=-0.336, p=0.039), six-month flight hours (r=-0.403, p=0.012) and one-year flight hours (r=-0.329, p= 0.044) correlated with the subjects' G-tolerance recovery rate. Conclusion: The subjects' G-tolerance recovery rate is clearly related to the subjects' previous flight hours. However, the subjects' anthropometric and physiologic characteristics do not show any statistically significant correlation with the subjects' G-tolerance recovery rate. Application: This research provides a safety critical insight to aviation community by identifying the factors to affect the gravity-induced loss of consciousness (GLOC) of pilots.
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of application of the contents of Korean Information Center of Agricultura Safety and Health (KICASH) with 80 subjects(male: 60, female: 20) from different provinces nationwide in 2011. Subjects were classified according to their sex and familiarity of computer and then categorized into 3 groups with poor, medium and good by self-evaluation. The test for the effectiveness and satisfaction about KICASH was conducted with likert scale from very bad (1point) to very good (5point). Subjects generally tended to give 4 points to contents. And they gave support to KICASH in that they showed about 4 point with intention of application of KICASH for safety and health irrespective of familiarity of computer. However, as they received the information passively, it will be needed to develop more interesting and various contents which they could get more helpful information for their health and safety actively using two-way information communication system in future. Therefore the study can helps improve farmer's health and safety through developing advanced health and safety information system.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of computerized neurocognitive function program on cognitive function about memory and attention with stroke. Methods: 24subjects with stroke were recruited. Twelve of subjects received conventional therapy including physical therapy, occupational therapy and language therapy. Another subjects received additional computer assisted cognitive training using Computer-aided Cognitive rehabilitation training system(COMCOG, MaxMedica Inc., 2004). All patients were assessed their cognitive function of memory and attention using Computerized Neurocognitive Function Test(CNT, MaxMedica Inc., 2004) before treatment and 6 weeks after treatment. Results: Before the treatment, two groups showed no difference in cognitive function(p>0.05). After 6 weeks, two groups showed significantly difference in digit span (forward, backward), verbal learning(A5, $A1{\sim}A5$), auditory CPT(n), visual CPT(n)(p<0.05). After treatment, the experimental group showed a significant improvement of digit span(forward, backward), verbal learning(A5, $A1{\sim}A5$), visual span (forward, backward), auditory CPT(n, sec), visual CPT(n, sec), and trail-making (A, B)(p<0.05). Conclusion: Computerized neurocognitive function program would be improved cognitive function of memory and attention in patients with stoke.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the application of a Thorax belt affects the stability of the spine in subjects with a wide infra-sternal angle. A total of 15 subject with wide infra-sternal angle participated in the experiment. Active Double leg lowering and active one-leg raising were performed with or without a thorax belt. Two spinal stability tests (active double lowering and active one-leg raising) performed with or without thorax belt application showed significant differences between each condition. Based on the results of present study, the application of a thorax belt is considered to be an effective therapeutic tool that can stabilize the spine to subjects with abnormally increased chest cage and spinal or trunk instability.

This paper is about a development of effective practice subject in electronic circuit textbook of industrial high school. This paper introduces generally about the practice subject in electronic circuit textbook of industrial high school of the 7th National curriculum and presents problem of current practice and makes an alternative idea that improve current practice. The contents of current electronic circuit textbook of industrial high school have variety topics and these topics are independence and separated. So students have some problems to apply of learned knowledge. Therefore, researcher improved the various electronic circuit practice in current electronic circuit text book and added new practice and manufactured a electronic circuit module based on these circuits. And researcher suggested new practice subject what useful electronic equipment that assembled module of result of electronic circuit practice of each section. When the last subjects are accomplished the students may have feel of achievement and high study effect from these practice. The practice subjects of this paper were manufactured after verification and tested it's performance by computer simulation program I hope that these new practice subjects make effective understanding and application of electronic circuit for student.

The paper sets the goal as understanding relationship between usability and subjective preference with the cross- cultural comparison between korea and Japan. Total 42 Korean and japanese housewives participated in the experiment where subjects evaluated their subjective preferences on 16 different variations of computer-simulated microwave ovens. In additions, subjects also performed usability testing over 9 different microwave ovens with 6 different tasks given to users. Subjective preferences and usability were analyzed by Conjoint analysis to identify relative importance of features. The results showed that, in case of Korean subjects, subjective preference has positive relationship with usability (i.e. aesthetically good product also showed better performance in usability testing). However, Japanese subjects showed the tendency that subjectively preferred products are not necessarily evaluated good in usability testing (i.e. god aesthetic is one thing and high usability is another). this difference leads the speculation that culture plays a role in balancing the relationship between aesthetic and functionality.
Purpose: This study was undertaken to establish the framework for development of the curriculum of genetics in Nursing Education. Methods: The Internet search, literature review of the US system of genetic nurses, genetic graduate nursing education programs and curricula for nurse in Korea were reviewed and analyzed. While text-to-image models have made remarkable progress in image synthesis, certain models, particularly generative diffusion models, have exhibited a noticeable bias to- wards generating images related to the culture of some developing countries. This paper introduces an empirical investigation aimed at mitigating the bias of image generative model. We achieve this by incorporating symbols representing Saudi culture into a stable diffusion model using the Dreambooth technique. CLIP score metric is used to assess the outcomes in this study. This paper also explores the impact of varying parameters for instance the quantity of training images and the learning rate. The findings reveal a substantial reduction in bias-related concerns and propose an innovative metric for evaluating cultural relevance.
An automatic speech recognition system is one of the popular research problems. There are many research groups working in this field for different language including Japanese. Japanese vowel recognition is one of important parts in the Japanese speech recognition system. The vowel classification system with the Mamdani fuzzy inference system was developed in this research. We tested our system on the blind test data set collected from one male native Japanese speaker and four male non-native Japanese speakers. All subjects in the blind test data set were not the same subjects in the training data set. We found out that the classification rate from the training data set is 95.0 %. In the speaker-independent experiments, the classification rate from the native speaker is around 70.0 %, whereas that from the non-native speakers is around 80.5 %.
