  • Metacognition is defined to be 'thinking about thinking' and 'knowing what we know and what we don't know'. It was verified that the metacognitive abilities of high school students can be improved via instruction. The purpose of this article is to investigate a new method for activating the metacognitive abilities that play a key role in the Mathematical Problem Solving Process(MPSP). Hyunsung participated in the MPSP using Visual Basic Programming. He actively participated in the MPSP. There are sufficient evidences about activating the metacognitive abilities via the activity processes and interviews. In solving mathematical problems, he had basic metacognitive abilities in the stage of understanding mathematical problems; through the experiments, he further developed his metacognitive abilities and successfully transferred them to general mathematical problem solving.

  • 어댑티브 어레이 안테나를 이동체에 적용하는 경우 가중계수벡터를 전파 환경의 변화에 고속 적응시킬 필요가 생긴다. 4소자 등간격 선형 어레이 안테나 시스템에 대하여 일정 진폭의 포락선을 갖는 BPSK와 FSK신호에 LMS와 Kalman filter 알고리즘을 적용한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 결과 LMS에 비하여 Kalman filter 알고리즘이 수렴성이 빠르고 신호의 추종성이 매우 뛰어남을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 특수 고적의 소형 전자계산기를 단일 뻐스선 방법에 의한 TTL 집적회로로 설계하였으며, 각 지령어의 길이를 16비트르 구성함으로써 더욱 간편한 콤파일러를 연구하였다. 또한 본 실험에서 160nsec의 기본 주기를 택함으로써, TTL IC의 동작시간에 따른 최적치와 기억소자의 악세스 타임이 같게 되었고, 구성 회로도 간단하게 만들어졌으며, 모두 프로그램도 만족하게 처리되었다.

A Role-play Approach for Privacy Protection Inspiration of Elementary Students

  • Elementary school students have a little awareness of privacy protection since they do not have many opportunities for systematic education on information and communication ethics. Hence, they are likely to expose their own information to others and sometimes bring on a lot of misuses by using others' information. In this paper, we provide an idea for teaching and learning methods which the elementary school students acquire privacy protection and management methods and raise their practical capabilities. We develop a role play teaching and learning model in connection with various Information and Communication Technology (ICT) activities and establish the instruction plans. Moreover, we apply them to the actual classes at grade five and six of the elementary school students respectively, and finally analyze the results. The proposed teaching and learning method shows that the students participated in a series of learning activities have higher learning effects on awareness of privacy protection than those learned with the conventional methods.

  • The PEFP (Proton Engineering Frontier Project) is constructing a 100MeV proton Linac (Linear Accelerator). The 20 MeV 20 mA proton beam has been serviced for an application in the fields of material, biological, information technology and medical sciences. For a stable and efficient acceleration of a proton beam, the control requirements must be optimized by studying various control methods. We propose that the integrated control system for the Linac machine components must be based on a distribution control method to improve a centralized control system. Based on EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) real-time software, the VME (Versa Module European package format) IOC (Input Output Controller) was developed under cross development environment with a RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computer) PowerPC system. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of distributed control system using the VME-based EPICS middleware for various components of the large proton accelerator.

  • 본 논문에서는 교육용 웹 기반 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 구축할 때 고려해야 하는 네비게이션 화면의 설계 방법에 관하여 연구하였다. 코스웨어를 구성하는 정보구조와 각 구조에 적합한 구체적 탐색 기법에 관해 분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 효율적인 초등학생용 웹 기반 멀티미디어 코스웨어를 위한 네비게이션 화면의 설계 방법으로 메뉴-연속 조합형 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고, 제안된 화면 설계방법에 따른 구체적인 코스웨어를 구현하여 현장에 적용 분석하였다.

초등 실과의 서술식 평가 실태와 개선방안 (The Current Status and the Reformation Strategy on Stating a Summary of Assessments in the Practical Arts Subject)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the current status on stating a summary of assessments in the practical arts education and to analyze the problem and find out the reformation strategy for them. To achieve these purposes. 180 teachers working in all elementary schools located in Daegu-city was selected by systematic cluster sampling method. The data were collected by using the mailed questionnaire developed by the researcher, and there was a response rate of 91.7%. Findings showed that it was not realized the valid and reliable stating a summary of assessments because it was not fixed throughly in the elementary school. So many teachers had difficulties in assessing the practical arts subject and stating a summary of assessments. They used the computer programs of CMI(Computer Management Instruction) . Black Box. SA(Stand Along) for stating a summary of assessments. It was recommended that valid and reliable criteria of stating a summary of assessments should provided, and on-the-job training on the developing and selecting a good tools for stating a summary of assessments should required. And. it was also required that the various codes of stating a summary of assessments should developed. and the various materials. equipments. and systems should provided for teachers.

Multicore-Aware Code Co-Positioning to Reduce WCET on Dual-Core Processors with Shared Instruction Caches

  • For real-time systems it is important to obtain the accurate worst-case execution time (WCET). Furthermore, how to improve the WCET of applications that run on multicore processors is both significant and challenging as the WCET can be largely affected by the possible inter-core interferences in shared resources such as the shared L2 cache. In order to solve this problem, we propose an innovative approach that adopts a code positioning method to reduce the inter-core L2 cache interferences between the different real-time threads that adaptively run in a multi-core processor by using different strategies. The worst-case-oriented strategy is designed to decrease the worst-case WCET among these threads to as low as possible. The other two strategies aim at reducing the WCET of each thread to almost equal percentage or amount. Our experiments indicate that the proposed multicore-aware code positioning approaches, not only improve the worst-case performance of the real-time threads but also make good tradeoffs between efficiency and fairness for threads that run on multicore platforms.

학습 부진아 지도를 위한 도형 교수.학습 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study On Development of Diagram Teaching & Learning System for Low-Level Students)

  • 수학 교육이 해결해야하는 과제 중 하나는 학습 부진아 문제이다. 이러한 문제를 개선하고 효율적인 학습 부진아 지도를 위해 '도형아 놀자'라는 교수.학습 시스템을 개발하였다. 도형아 놀자 교수학습 시스템은 학습 부진아의 수준에 맞는 맞춤식 교육을 목표로 도형영역의 내용을 5단계로 재구성하였다. 이를 바탕으로 학습부진아에게 도형에 대한 흥미 및 자기 주도적 학습 능력을 길러주기 위해 학년 구분 없이 수준에 따라 재구성하고 학습 부진아들이 자기 수준에 맞는 단원을 선택하여 스스로 문제를 해결해갈 수 있도록 시스템을 구성하였다.

  • 웹은 교육적 측면에서 볼 때 다른 기존의 매체보다 상호 작용성이 뛰어나고 보다 자유롭게 대량의 정보를 전달할 수 있다. 이와 같이 웹을 이용한 새로운 수업방식으로 하이퍼미디어를 기반으로 하는 교육적 프로그램을 WBI라고 한다. WBI에서의 강의는 멀티미디어적인 요소를 가미한 동영상 그림, 소리 등의 다양한 매체를 결합시켜 학습자의 학습의욕을 불러일으킨다. 또한 보완이 가능하며. 학습내용의 다양성으로 학습자의 창의력과 응용력을 길러주는 학습프로그램이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Courseware 가운데 인터넷 서비스 web을 기반으로 한 교수-학습 프로그램을 설계하였고 디자인은 Explorer 5.0에서 HTML, Java Script, Photo Shops5.0, Flash4.0, Gif Construction프로그램을 사용하여 텍스트, 이미지, 소리 등을 구현하였다.
