2007년 개정 중학교 정보 교육과정의 '문제 해결 방법과 절차' 영역 성취기준 및 평가기준 개발 방안 연구 (A study on the method of developing achievement and assessment standards for the 'Problem-solving methods and procedures' section in the revised Junior-high School Informatics curriculum)

  • 2007년 개정된 중학교 정보 교육과정은 현 7차 컴퓨터 교육과정과 많은 차이를 가지고 있다. 2007년 개정된 정보 교과 교육과정은 응용 소프트웨어 사용에서 벗어나 컴퓨터 과학의 원리와 문제해결능력을 중심으로 구성하였다. 개정된 정보 교육과정에는 7차 교육과정의 교육내용에 포함되어 있지 않은 '문제 해결 방법과 절차' 영역을 포함하고 있기 때문에, 이 영역의 성취기준 및 경가기준이 필요하다. 본 연구는 개정된 중학교 정보 교육과정의 교수학습방법과 평가 방법의 가이드라인을 제시하고자 '문제 해결 방법과 절차' 영역의 성취기준 및 평가기준을 설정하였다.

A Curriculum for Mobile Programming Education that Includes A Project Completion and It's Implementation Results

  • In recent, android application developments have been done widely that intensify smart phone utilization. In this paper, we propose a curriculum that undergraduate students can improve their mobile programming abilities as well as integrate experiences of application development based on android. And also a series of practices to advance their sense of accomplishment are added by offering an opportunity to carry out a real project to use a variety of sensors embedded in smart phone during the course of study. The project is composed of a series of modules for implementing a trekking App that helpful to people who enjoy spending time in outdoors through their favorite activities such as trekking, cycling, and climbing with their own smart phones. Through practical curriculum operation and project implementation, we show that the proposed curriculum is appropriate to a mobile programming education that combine learning and practice.

Validation of the Unplugged Robot Education System Capable of Computerless Coding Education

  • In traditional programing education, computers were used as the main tool. Consequently, it was problematic to provide education in an environment without computers or for learners without computer skills. To address this problem, this study developed and validated an unplugged robot education system capable of computerless programming education. The key feature of the proposed system is that programing can be done only by connecting programming blocks in symbols of a flow chart with built-in commands. Validation of the system was performed by a specialist group. Validity was very high with values of content validity ratio (CVR) over 0.7 in all evaluation criteria except "Ease of error debugging" and "Linkages to educational curriculum," whose CVR values were each 0.6. Future directions include improvement in the two areas that scored lower than the others did by, respectively, system improvement to support debugging in error conditions that may occur during the programming process, and development of user guide to support linkages to educational curriculum.

  • In this paper, we propose a comparative study of Informatics subject curriculums and textbooks in middle school between Korea and England because both countries have similar national curriculums about software education which has computational thinking as objectives of education and good-qualified textbooks for teachers and students. we looked through the Informatics and Computing curriculums and textbook of both countries in order to give good reference case to Informatics textbook manufacturer. In addition, we verified the validity of this study through FGI. The results of this study will be a good case study about designing Informatics curriculum and making Informatics textbooks in middle school.

  • The purpose of this study is to effectively implement the artificial intelligence education required in the digital transformation era. As we enter the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the demand for a great digital transformation in industry is essential, and the nurturing of manpower is presented as an indispensable relationship in the industrial field based on it. The integration of various new technologies that have emerged from the era of the 4th industrial revolution has the greatest purpose in realizing artificial intelligence technology. As the importance of digital competency in the top curriculum reorganization has been highlighted, artificial intelligence education is necessary even in the curriculum reorganization in 2022, and there is a demand in the educational field that it should be converted into a mandatory education in middle and high schools. Artificial intelligence education according to the demands of the times is to develop an artificial intelligence curriculum in universities by reestablishing systematic artificial intelligence education in universities, setting educational goals, and presenting the goals of artificial intelligence education by major. The main direction of this study is to present the relationship between artificial intelligence and each major in university education, develop a curriculum based on artificial intelligence for each major, and link artificial intelligence software for AI education customized for each major. We would like to present a process that can measure the learning outcomes of AI education.

NCS기반 공학교육인증 교육과정 개발을 위한 학습성과와 능력단위의 연관 기법 (Association of Program Outcomes and Competency Units for Curriculum Development of NCS Based Engineering Education Accreditation)

  • This paper introduces the association method for the program outcomes of engineering education accreditation and the competency units of National Competency Standards(NCS). This association method can be used to efficiently develop an engineering curriculum that is based on both of the NCS and the engineering education accreditation. The association method consists of an analysis phase, an association phase and a checking phase. We also deals with the curriculum development procedure that uses the proposed association of program outcomes and competency units. Also, we provide the application of this method to the computer engineering program for NCS-based engineering education accreditation. Thus we can systematically and efficiently develop curriculums for the NCS-based engineering education accreditation by using the proposed method.

Exploring the Operating and Supporting Direction of AI Curriculum by Analyzing A High School Case Study

  • 본 연구는 인공지능 교육과정의 확대에 따른 교육과정의 안정적 운영을 위해 필요한 조건 및 지원을 탐색하기 위해 실시되었다. 이에 2020년도부터 인공지능 교육과정을 운영한 A 고등학교를 대상으로 인공지능 교육과정에 대한 학생과 교사의 인식 및 구현방안, 지원방안에 대해 설문하였다. 설문 문항은 1) 인공지능 교육에 대한 경험 조사 2) 인공지능 교육의 구현 방향, 3) 이를 통한 기대효과를 중심으로 범주화하였으며 경향성 파악을 위해 빈도분석을 중심으로 결과를 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 세 가지의 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 인공지능 교육의 활성화가 제시되었다. 둘째, 실습형의 인공지능 교육과정 개발과 교육과정 전반에 인공지능을 접목할 필요가 있음을 제시하였다. 셋째, 실습형 교육 운영을 위한 물적 인프라의 확충과 함께 인공지능 교수학습을 구현할 수 있는 교원의 역량 강화 방향에 대한 시도가 필요하다는 점을 강조하였다.

실업계 고등학교의 컴퓨터 교육과정 문제점 분석 ((Problem analysis of the Computer Education Curriculum for Vocational High School))

  • 현재 실업계 고등학교는 많은 문제점을 드러내고 있다. 이들 문제에 대한 대안으로 제시되는 동일계 대학진학 등은 근본적인 대안이 될 수 없다. 실업계 고등학교가 이러한 문제를 타계하고 본연의 역할을 충실히 해낼 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 교육과정의 내실화가 필요하다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 관련학과를 졸업한 학생들이 관련 직업을 가질 때 요구되는 교육과정과 현재 학생들이 실업계 고등학교에서 배우는 교육과정을 비교함으로써 문제점을 분석해 보고자 한다.

예비교사를 위한 정보화 교육 방향 탐색 연구 -미국 인디애나 대학 사례를 중심으로- (A Case Study of Indiana University's CEL Program for Pre-service School Teachers)

  • Building a competency of pre-service school teachers is one of the critical factors to decide right direction of k-12 computer & information education. In this context, we can realize of the importance of computer & information curriculum for pre-service school teachers. The purpose of this study is to explore the case of the CEL(Computer Educator License) program in Indiana University and to find the developmental direction of technology education for pre-service school teachers. To achieve the purpose of study, the methods and procedures involved the following steps: The literature reviews of technology education were performed. The analysis framework based on case study method was designed for collecting data. Data were composed of related documents, web resources, and interview resources. And collected data were analyzed. The finding and recommendation of this study were the importance of following factors: (a) technology integration in the curriculum for pre-service school teachers, (b) differentiated management with skill-based technology education, (c) leadership for using and diffusing technology in the school, and (d) connected curriculum with the national standard indicator.

국가직무능력표준을 활용한 컴퓨터공학 교과과정개발 (Curriculum Development of Computer Engineering based on NCS (National Competency Standards))

  • 국가직무능력표준(National Competency Standards: NCS)은 근로자가 자신의 직업에서 직무를 성공적으로 수행하기 위해 요구되는 능력을 도출하여 국가차원에서 표준화한 것이다. 4년제 대학의 경우 NCS를 활용한 교과과정 개편에 관한 가시적인 계획은 없는 상황이나 대학교 교과과정의 현장성 문제가 지속적으로 제기되고 있고, NCS에 기반한 과정평가형 국가기술자격 도입등으로 4년제 대학교 교과과정에 NCS가 적용될 수 있는가에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문은 4년제 대학교 컴퓨터공학전공을 참조하여 NCS 적용 가능성을 탐색하고, NCS를 활용하여 교과과정을 개편 방향을 제시하였다.
