지오그리드 혼합 보강경량토의 압축강도특성 연구 (Characteristics of Compressive Strength of Geogrid Mixing Reinforced Lightweight Soil)

  • 본 연구는 지오그리드 혼합 보강경량토의 응력-변형 거동과 강도 특성에 대해 조사하였다. 경량혼합토의 압축강도를 증진하기 위해 경량혼합토에 지오그리드를 혼합하였다. 시험 공시체는 다양한 종류의 배합조건 즉, 시멘트 함유율, 함수비, 기포 함유율에 따라서 각각 제작되어졌고, 여러번의 일축압축강도시험이 수행되었다. 시험결과로부터, 경량혼합토의 일축압축강도와 응력-변형 거동은 배합조건에 의해 큰 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 시멘트 함유율이 증가됨에 따라 일축압축강도 또한 증가한다. 그러나 초기 함수비나 기포 함유율이 증가함에 따라 일축압축강도는 감소하였다. 거의 모든 경우에서 지오그리드에 의한 보강 효과 때문에 지오그리드 보강경량토의 강도가 증가되는 것이 관찰되었다. 지오그리드 혼합 보강경량토의 응력-변형률 관계는 취성거동이라기 보다는 연성적인 거동특성을 가졌다. 보강경량토에서 할선 탄성계수 ($E_{50}$)는 지오그리드 함유로 인해 강도가 증가함에 따라 증가되었다.

  • Index tests are useful because they are rapid and cheap-and if bias is known the fundamental property can be estimated, as when estimating the compressive strength or the tensile sterngth from the rock test hammer value. Index tests which have proved to be very useful are the rock test hammer, the point load test and sonic velocity test. These can provide index values in their owing right or be used to estimate the compressive strength, the tensile strength and elastic modulus. Because of the heterogeneous and fractured nature of rock, many index tests have been developed for a variety of purposes, e.g.for use in rock mass classification schemes.

  • For integrity evaluation of cracked or damaged structures, fracture toughness test results in ASTM are widely used. The fracture toughness values of the structures are used as an effective design criterion in nuclear plants and aircraft structures. Sometimes the difference of P-$\delta$ curve trend during the unloading /reloading cycle in the fracture toughness test using partial unloading compliance was observed. The phenomenon as a possible source of error in determining fracture toughness may be caused by the residual stress during unloading work-hardening and bucking of a specimen. Therefore, we evaluate the effect of bucking and compressive residual stress during the K-R and J-R testing using a finite element method.

  • This paper describes the result of carbody and vibration test for freight car. The purpose of the test is to evaluate an safety which carbody structure shall be considered fully sufficient rigidity so as to load a freight car under maximum load and operating condition on line track. The test carbody is constructed by RS korea co., LTD. in accordance with KNR specfication. The test cases of the carbody is tested the vertical load and compressive load to verify the strength and stillness. The vibration test is tested for analysis and evaluation of vibration, to allow for the fact that mechanical vibration in railway vehicles have specific characteristics.

비파괴 및 재하시험에 의한 노후 교량의 거동특성 (Behavior Properties of Bridge by Non Destructive and Loading Test)

  • The performance evaluation and deflection of 3 spans concrete simplicity slab bridge analyzed by non-destructive and loading test. Compressive strength of slab and pier appeared in the range of each 353∼366 kgf/$cm^2$ and 152∼215 kgf/$cm^2$ in rebound number test. Also, it appeared that concrete quality of slab was good after performance improvement. The average compressive strength of slab by core picking appeared 229 kg/$cm^2$. In reinforcing bar arrangement test of span and member, it appeared that horizontal and vertical reinforcing bar was arranged to fixed interval. The value of calculation deflection that carried structural analysis with deflection analysis wave in static loading test appeared higher than that of experimental deflection and it appeared that hardness of this bridge was good. Maximum impact factor that estimated from deflection by running speed in dynamic loading test appeared by 0.216 in 10 km/hr running speed.

  • To evaluate the strength of square reinforced concrete shot columns, thirty specimens were manufactured and tested under monotonically increasing concentric compression. The test parameters included the volumetric ratio of transverse reinforcement($\rho$h = 0.49~2.65), and concrete compressive strength (234, 437, 704 kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$). Test results are shown that : (1) Behavior of high -strength concrete column is improved by providing increased volumetric ratio; and (2) ACI, Eq. is not proper to evaluate HSC short column strength.

  • Microstructural characteristics such as hydrates and porosity greatly influence the development of concrete strength. In this study, a strength estimation model for early-age concrete considerig, the microstructural characteristics was proposed, which considers the effects of both an increment of degree of hydration and capillary porosity on a strength increment. Hydration modeling and compressive strength test with curing temperature and curing ages were carried out. By comparing test results with estimated strength, it is found that the strength estimation model can estimate compressive strength of early-age concrete with curing ages and curing temperature within a margin of error.

  • In this study, the electric accelerated reinforcing bar corrosion test was carried out to estimate the coefficient of electrolytic corrosion based on the concept of Faraday's law according to rebar corrosion rate and concrete compressive strength which had an effect on the actual corrosion mass loss. The results of this paper allow the prediction of corrosion amount in the electric accelerated reinforcing bar corrosion test method.

Revision on Material Strength of Steel Fiber-Reinforced Concrete

  • Many studies have been performed on steel fiber-reinforced normal/high-strength concrete (SFRC, SFRHC) for years, which is to improve some of the weak material properties of concrete. Most of equations for material strengths of SFRHC, however, were proposed based on relatively limited test results. In this research, therefore, the material test results of SFR(H)C were extensively collected from literature, and material tests have conducted on SFR(H)C; compressive strength tests, splitting tensile tests, and modulus of rupture tests. Based on the extensive test data obtained from previous studies and this research, a database of SFR(H)C material strengths has been established, and improved equations for material strengths of SFR(H)C were also proposed. Test results showed that both the splitting tensile strength and the modulus of rupture of SFR(H)C increased as the volume fraction of steel fiber increased, while the effect of the steel fiber volume fraction on the compressive strength of SFR(H)C were not clearly observed. The proposed equations for the splitting tensile strength and the modulus of rupture of SFR(H)C showed better results than the previous equations examined in this study in terms of not only accuracy but also safety/reliability.
