On-line PLC Laboratories Using Distance Learning (원거리 학습을 이용한 실시간 PLC 실습)

  • This paper describes the development of on-line Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) laboratories to teach the detailed operation of a PLC using distance learning approach. The PLC has become a key component to provide intelligence for machines in CIM environment. This study introduces a case study that teaches PLC programming in distance learning environment. The study describes the contents of PLC laboratories and workstation set ups. The study concludes with problems found and proposes the ways to improve the on-line laboratories.

  • Farming 이란 Farmer 모델에서 제안하는 컴포넌트 아웃소싱을 의미한다. Farming 개념을 구현하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반 개발( Component-Based Development) 개념을 도입하였다. 컴포넌트는 컴포지션에 의한 소프트웨어 블록 재사용성을 제공하며 컴포넌트는 이들의 수행하는 기능에 대한 명세를 나타내는 인터페이스 명세모델이반드시 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 Farmer 모델링 방법론에 의하여 디자인되어진 시스템을 컴포넌트 기반 개발의 인터페이스 명세모델로의 변형(Transformation ) 메카니즘인 FTI 알고리즘 및 COM IDL 과의 상호관련성에 대하여 소개한다.

  • This paper describes the optimal sizing of each component using computer simulation and presents the efficient operating scheme of series HEV using hardware simulator the equivalent system. As the sizing method of components have been experimental and empirical it is needed to spend much time and development cost. however the results of computer simulation will set the optimal sizing of components in short time. There are two type of driving control power-tracking mode and load-levelling mode in series HEV. This paper presents that series HEV be operated in the load-levelling mode which is more efficient that power-tracking mode.

  • This paper proposes a new image processing algorithm to recognize korean documents. It take out the region of syllable area from input character image, then it makes recognition of a consonant and a vowel in the character. A precision segmentation is very important to recognize the input character. The input image has 8-bit gray scaled resolution. Not only the shape but also vertical and horizontal lines dispersion graph are used for segmentation. Theresult shows a higher accuracy of character segmentation.

  • This paper presents FMC prototypes developed to propagate manufacuting automation for small and medium sized enterprises in Korea. The system consists of two cells used to machine oil pump drive gears, turing cell and hobbing cell. Characteristics and processes of the fears are anaylzed for the cell design. The system configuration and functions of individual component machines are described. Furthermore, the developed system is compared with the current manual system in terms of manpower and cost reduction and productivity increase.

  • Combustion of RDF and wastewater sludge was performed in a 0.1MWth bench scale circulating fluidized bed combustor(CFBC), Combustion characteristics of the RDF and sludge mixture demonstrated stable combustion conditions. Component analysis, Combustion characteristics was measured before and after the test, and applications for commercial 1MWe CFBC boiler were prepared. The release of hazardous components such as $SO_2$ and HCl was relatively low values of 50 and 150ppm, respectively.

  • 소프트웨어를 개발하는데 기존의 개발된 시스템의 컴포넌트를 재사용하면 생산성 향상과 신뢰성 향상, 생산 원가를 절감할 수 있으며, 컴포넌트는 프로그램 설계시 소프트웨어에서 공통적으로 이용될 수 있는 부분들을 표준화하고 이들을 새로운 소프트웨어 개발 과정에서 재사용 항으로써 소프트웨어 개발 기관을 단축시킬 수 있다. 소프트웨어 개발 초기에서 견고한 시스템 아키텍쳐를 정립하는 컷이 프로젝트 성패에 중요한 요인으로 등장하고, 재작업을 줄이고, 재사용성, 확장성, 시스템 품질측면에서 많은 장점을 얻을 수 있다.
