  • Many companies launched convergence products that are merged with several functions. Mobile convergence has some advantages such as portable convenience, usability of use, economic advantage that takes parts of the common component among products in the aspects of the digital products. Even though a plenty of items launched by convergence boom in the market, not tons of convergence products succeeded in the market because One of the major reasons is that companies don't take consumer evaluations in the process of the product development. It is important to set up infrastructure and excellent quality of the products for lasting the lifecycle of the convergence items. But, above all, it is imperative to find out how consumers evaluate convergence products and what they are affected to meet their satisfaction. Nevertheless, there are few case studies about consumer evaluations in mobile convergence until now. This study is to find out how consumers evaluate convergence products and what is the factor. This study surveyed 158 subjects and used multi-regression analysis and ANOVA(analysis of variance). The results of this study show that factors such as relative advantages, complexity, observability, perceived convenience affect the attitude of consumers.

  • With the development in field of industry and medicine, new machines and techniques are being launched. Moreover, the complexity of the techniques is associated to an increasing risk of incident. Especially, a small error in radiotherapy can lead to a serious patient-related incident, risk management is necessary in radiotherapy in order to reduce the risk of incident. However, in field of radiotherapy, there are no legally binding clauses for risk management and there is an absence of risk management systems at an institutional level. Therefore, we analyzed institutional status of risk management, reporting & classification systems, and risk assessment & analysis in 31 countries. For risk management and reporting systems, 65% of countries investigated had legislation or regulations; however, only 35% of countries used classification systems. It was found that 43% more countries had legislation for risk management in healthcare than those for radiotherapy; 19% more countries had reporting systems for healthcare than those for radiotherapy. For classification systems, 60% more countries had legislation, recommendation, and guidelines in the field of radiotherapy than those for healthcare. Recently, international institutes have published several reports for risk management and patient safety in radiotherapy, owing to which, countries adopting risk management for radiotherapy will gradually increase. Before adopting risk management in Korea, we should precisely understand the procedures and functions of risk management, in order to increase efficiency of risk management because classification & reporting system and risk assessment & analysis are connected organically, and institutional management is needed for high quality of risk management in Korea.

  • The expressway construction work is being recently diversified even the working environments and the working kinds due to getting large scale, complexity, and high technology. The accidents are increasing according to large scale even in construction equipment and to a rise in high-ground work, thereby being required an effort of reducing accidents. However, it is insufficient in a means of coping with the technically safety management of using specific and scientific method. In order to prevent accident, a specific plan is needed that can apply each in variables to safety management by analyzing the accident types and accident factors with statistical method. Accordingly, this study carried out investigate on accidents for 12 years in the expressway construction work, and aimed to analyze characteristics on the accident type and conversion disaster-victim number according to factors with occurrence of accidents. Thus, the empirical analysis was performed. As a result of research, first, as a result of verifying significant difference with accident type by accident factor, the significant difference was shown between a cause for occurrence of accident and height with occurrence of accident. Second, among factors by period, the time with occurrence of accident was indicated to have significant difference from conversion disaster-victim number. Among factors by work condition, the cause for occurrence of accident, the height with occurrence of accident, and the type with occurrence of accident were indicated to have significant difference from conversion disaster-victim number. What suggested by analyzing characteristics in these factors and variables has important significance as a countermeasure for safety management.

  • Collagen is the important structural proteins in mammals with various peptide composition and cross-linkings. The direct analysis of collagen protein was not suitable because of its structural complexity and diversity. In this study, we suggest the simple way of collagen analysis by introducing matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) to identify the collagen and its trypsin-digested fragments, and by subsequent time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry(Q-TOF MS/MS) to analyze the amino acid sequences of identified fragments. Using the collagen samples extracted from the tail of mouse, 10 separated bands were found in SDS-PAGE, and the masses of most bands could be more finely determined by MALDI-TOF MS. When each 10 separated proteins was tryptic digested and introduced to MALDI-TOF, the Gly1056-Arg1073 fragment from $\alpha_1$-chain was identified in four bands, and the Gly1056-Arg1073 fragment from $\alpha_2$-chain was identified in five bands, both in type I collagen. Although few fragments were found because of the cross-linkings left in digested collagen sample, it could be determined that the type I collagen existed at least in 7 separated bands. When the amino acid sequences of two identified fragments were analyzed by Q-TOF MS/MS, both sequences were identical with those determined by MALDI-TOF MS. It suggested that the two peaks in MALDI-TOF MS caused by the fragments identified in this work could be used as the fingerprint to simply identify type I collagen in protein samples.

  • CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) is one representative deep learning algorithm, which can extract high-level spatial and spectral features, and has been applied for hyperspectral image classification. However, one significant drawback behind the application of CNNs in hyperspectral images is the high dimensionality of the data, which increases the training time and processing complexity. To address this problem, several CNN based hyperspectral image classification studies have exploited PCA (Principal Component Analysis) for dimensionality reduction. One limitation to this is that the spectral information of the original image can be lost through PCA. Although it is clear that the use of PCA affects the accuracy and the CNN training time, the impact of PCA for CNN based hyperspectral image classification has been understudied. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quantitative effect of PCA in CNN for hyperspectral image classification. The hyperspectral images were first transformed through PCA and applied into the CNN model by varying the size of the reduced dimensionality. In addition, 2D-CNN and 3D-CNN frameworks were applied to analyze the sensitivity of the PCA with respect to the convolution kernel in the model. Experimental results were evaluated based on classification accuracy, learning time, variance ratio, and training process. The size of the reduced dimensionality was the most efficient when the explained variance ratio recorded 99.7%~99.8%. Since the 3D kernel had higher classification accuracy in the original-CNN than the PCA-CNN in comparison to the 2D-CNN, the results revealed that the dimensionality reduction was relatively less effective in 3D kernel.

  • KOMPSAT-2 is the seventh high-resolution image satellite in the world that provides both 1m-grade panchromatic images of the GSD and 4m-grade multispectral images of the GSD. It's anticipated to be used across many different areas including mapping, territory monitoring and environmental watch. However, due to the complexity and security concern involved with the use of the MSC, the use of KOMPSAT-2 images are limited in terms of geometric images, such as satellite orbits and detailed mapping information. Therefore, this study aims to produce DEM and orthoimage by using the stereo images of KOMPSAT-2, and to explore the applicability of geo-spatial information with KOMPSAT -2. Orientation interpretations were essential for the production of DEM and orthoimage using KOMPSAT-2 images. In the study, they are performed by utilizing both RPC and GCP. In this study, the orientation interpretations are followed by the generation of DEM and orthoimage, and the analysis of their accuracy based on a 1:5,000 digital map. The accuracy analysis of DEM is performed and the results indicate that their altitudes are, in general, higher than those obtained from the digital map. The altitude discrepancies on plains, hills and mountains are calculated as 1.8m, 7.2m, and 11.9m, respectively. In this study, the mean differences between horizontal position between the orthoimage data and the digital map data are found to be ${\pm}3.081m$, which is in the range of ${\pm}3.5m$, within the permitted limit of a 1:5,000 digital map. KOMPSAT-2 images are used to produce DEM and orthoimage in this research. The results suggest that DEM can be adequately used to produce digital maps under 1:5,000 scale.

  • In this study, GIS method has been used to get fractal characteristics. Using the projected area and surface area, 2 dimensional fractal characteristic of terrain was found out. Correlation of fractal dimension and mean slope were also checked over. Results are as below. 1) To get a fractal dimension, the method which is using the surface area is also directly proportional to complexity of the terrain as other fractal dimension. 2) Fractal dimensions using the surface area, that is proposed in this thesis are carried out as below : Uiseong : $2.02{\sim}2.15$ Yeongcheon : $2.10{\sim}2.24$. These values are in a range of fractal $2.10{\sim}2.20$ dimensions which has known. 3) Correlation of mean slope and fractal dimension is diminished about 30% in a region which is more than $25^{\circ}$ of mean slope. So, in this region using the fractal dimension method is better than using the mean slope. From this study, on formula using the projected area and surface area is still good to get a fractal dimension that has been found. But to confirm this method the region of research should be wider and be set up the correlation of mean slope, surface area and fractal dimension. It can be applicable to restoration of terrain and traffic flow analysis in the future research.

  • Model parameters of the WASP5 applied to Saemanguem lake were estimated. The methodology is based on grouping water quality constituents and relevant parameters and successively estimating each group of parameters by a trial-and-error procedure. Chlorophyll-a, nitrogen cycles, phosphorus cycles, BOD and DO were simulated at the complexity level 4. The Saemangeum basin divided into a number of unit sub-watershed. And a water budget model analysis with 22 years from 1975 to 1996 year was examined. In this paper, input data at upstream boundaries of model was made to determine seasonally-averaged flow rate through water budget analysis. Calibration and verification of the model were used seasonal average of water quality measurements in 1997 and 1998 years. Grouping water quality constituents and associated parameters proved to be efficient in estimating a number of model parameters. From the results of model calibration and verification, it was found that quantitative evaluations of nonpoint source for organic matters are essential.

  • This study aimed to conduct the basic analysis on the fractal characteristics of cementitious materials. The pore structure of cement paste incorporating ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) was measured using mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP) and the fractal characteristics were investigated using different models. Because the pore structure of GGBFS-blended cement paste is an irregular system in the various range from nanometer to millimeter, the characteristics of pore region in the different scale may not be adequately described when the fractal dimension was calculated over the whole scale range. While Zhang and Li model enabled analyzing the fraction dimension of pore structure over the three divided scale ranges of micro, small capillary and macro regions, Ji el al. model refined analysis on the fractal characteristics of micro pore region consisting of micro I region corresponding to gel pores and micro II region corresponding to small capillary pores. As the pore size decreased, both models suggested that the pore surface of micro region became more irregular than macro region and the complexity of pores increased.
