An analysis of the non-homogeneous term involved in the free surface condition for second order wave diffraction on a pair of cylinders is presented. In the computations of the nonlinear loads on offshore structures, the most challenging task is the computation of the free surface integral. The main contribution to this integrand is due to the non-homogeneous term present in the free surface condition for second order scattered potential. In this paper, the free surface condition for the second order scattered potential is derived. Under the assumption of large spacing between the two cylinders, waves scattered by one cylinder may be replaced in the vicinity of the other cylinder by equivalent plane waves together with non-planner correction terms. Then solving a complex matrix equation, the first order scattered potential is derived and since the free surface term for second order scattered potential can be expressed in terms of the first order potentials, the free surface term can be obtained using the knowledge of first order potentials only.

The concept of 'Implant Supracrestal Complex (ISC)' was introduced as a way to determine the impact of implant prosthetic design form on both short-term clinical outcomes and the long-term prognosis of bone and soft tissues around the implant. Implant-prosthesis-abutment complex design forms, such as implant-abutment design, junction, and location, can have important implications for the stable and healthy long-term maintenance of the tissues around the implant. In this case, a customized concave abutment and a prosthesis with an emergence angle of about 30 degrees were restored to a patient suffering from chronic soft tissue inflammation and pain after restoration of an implant prosthesis. It was confirmed that the new prosthesis improved complications by allowing sufficient bone and soft tissue space, achieved appropriate soft tissue sealing, and maintained the long-term stability of the implant.

In this paper, we study on a higher order extremal problem relating the Ahlfors map associated to the pair of a finitely connected domain in the complex plane and a point there. We show the power of the Ahlfors map with some error term which is conformally equivalent maximizes any higher order derivative of holomorphic functions at the given point in the domain.

The elevation of reclamation work in the coastal area for the industrial complex is determined through the investigation and review of marine conditions, drainage plan and fill materials. The embankment to be constructed with crushed stone on the soft soil should be safe against the wave force, immediate and long term consolidation settlement, overturning and sliding due to self-weight and other forces. Because of lack of fill material from the borrow pit, the soft marine clay to be dredged shall be used as the reclamation material. And Paper Drain Board is used as the improvement method for the deep soft clay strata.

This paper provides a complex variable BIE for solving the periodic notch problems in plane plasticity. There is no limitation for the configuration of notches. For the periodic notch problem, the remainder estimation technique is suggested. In the technique, the influences on the central notch from many neighboring notches are evaluated exactly. The influences on the central notch from many remote notches are approximated by one term with a multiplying factor. This technique provides an effective way to solve the problems of periodic structures. Several numerical examples are presented, and most of them have not been reported previously.

Complex regional pain syndrome Type II(CRPS) can be diagnosed by new IASP criteria in 1994. Sympathetically maintained pain may or may not be present in a patient with complex regional pain syndrome. We experienced a CRPS Type II patient who has sympathetically maintained pain as a major painful nature developed after right multiple iliac bone fracture, right femoral artery thrombosis and lumbosacral plexus injury. Combination treatment with L2, L3, L4 sympathetic ganglion block and continuous lower thoracic epidural block for 30 days were tried to get long term effect. The patient had signs of successful. sympathetic denervation of the right foot. After that pain relief was sustained until three month later.

The long-term prognosis of complex regional pain syndrome is difficult to predict because of its unclear pathophysiology. The syndrome can spontaneously spread to other regions in the body. We report a case in which a complex regional pain syndrome that occurred in a 75-year-old male patient after a stroke spread to the opposite side.

This paper presents a new approach to the synthesis of two-dimensional arrays such as Atmel 6000 series FPGAs using internal don't cares. Basically complex terms which fits to the linear array of cells without further routing wires are generated and they are collected by OR/XOR operations. In previous methods, complex terms are collected only by XOR operations, which may not be effective for nearly unate functions. In this paper, we allow complex terms to be collected by OR operations in addition to XOR operations. First, complex terms that lies in the ON-set of the function are generated and collected by OR operations. The sub-function realized by the first stage becomes an internal don't cares and they are exploited in the second stage which generates complex terms collectable by XOR operation. Experimental results shows the efficacy of the proposed method compared to the previous methods.

Marina and marina clubs are the essential structures to meet increasing marin tourism and marin leisure sports demand. According to the domestic situation, marina and marina clubs are divided into 6 types such as small sports type, small complex type, midium sports type, midium complex type, large sports type, large complex type. As a result of analysis of domestic three marina clubs, averagely marina facilities take 21% and commercial facilities take 79% of total space. In the short term, marina club should be designed focusing on complex program. Marina club will be for long-term transformed into marin leisure sports program. Additionally, it is certain that floating marina club is an architecture to have water-friendly space and to maximize marin tourism and marin leisure sports.

Objectives: This case report describes the effect of complex Korean medical treatment on the clinical symptoms of a patient with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). Methods: A 60-year-old female woman diagnosed with FMS in 2015 was prescribed Youngsunjaetong-em-hap-Sopunghwalhyeol-tang from 2 May 2023 to 20 June 2023 to reduce excessive sweating and widespread pain. With the same objective, acupuncture, moxibustion, and cupping treatment were administered from 23 May 2023 to 11 June 2023. Changes in excessive sweating and widespread pain were recorded 2 months post-treatment. Results: Treatment with Youngsunjaetong-em-hap-Sopunghwalhyeol-tang led to a considerable improvement in clinical symptoms after 2 months, especially excessive sweating and widespread pain compared to the baseline parameters of the first visit. In addition, no adverse effects, such as liver injury or decreased kidney function, were recorded during the herbal medicine treatment. Conclusion: This case report points to the use of complex Korean medical treatment as a therapeutic option for the management of FMS.
