간호대학생의 문화적 역량 영향요인 (Factors Influencing to the Cultural Competence in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 문화적 역량 정도를 확인하고 문화적 역량의 예측요인을 파악하고자 시되되었다. 연구대상자는 K시와 B시에 소재하는 3개 대학교 간호학과 학생 181명이었다. 자료수집을 위한 설문조사는 2013년 6월 5일부터 8월 31일까지 실시되었고, 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 17.0 프로그램을 이용하여 descriptive statistics, t-test, One way -ANOVA와 multiple regression 분석하였다. 연구결과 문화적 역량은 자기효능감, 공감능력과 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 간호대학생의 문화적 역량에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자기효능감(${\beta}=.63$, p<.001), 공감능력(${\beta}=.18$, p=.001)과 다문화교육(${\beta}=.13$, p=.019)이 문화적 역량을 51% 설명하였다. 본 연구에 의하면 문화적 역량 영향요인을 고려한 효율적인 교육프로그램 개발이 요구된다.

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 감성지능, 의사소통능력, 대인관계유능성 및 대학생활적응 간 관계를 파악하고 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 G광역시 소재 대학의 간호학과에 재학 중인 학생 173명으로, 자료수집은 자가보고식 설문지를 이용하여 2022년 9월 10일에서 10월 10일까지 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0 program을 이용하여 기술적 통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, 다중회귀분석을 시행하였다. 연구결과 대학생활적응은 감성지능(r=.760, p<.001), 의사소통능력(r=.600, p<.001), 대인관계유능성(r=.451, p<.001)과 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 대학생활적응에 영향요인은 감성지능(𝛽=.543, p<.001), 의사소통능력(𝛽=.433, p=.001), 대인관계유능성(𝛽=.283, p<.031)으로 대학생활적응에 대한 총 설명력은 59.9%였다. 따라서 간호대학생의 감성지능과 의사소통능력을 함양하고 대인관계유능성 향상을 돕는 교육프로그램을 개발하고 간호교육과정 동안 지속적으로 제공함으로서 대학생활적응력을 높일 수 있는 전략이 필요하다.

공급사슬 지속가능성 제고를 위한 선행요인들과 공급사슬 역량에 대한 연구 (A Study on Antecedence Factors and Supply Chain Capability for Improving Supply Chain Sustainability)

  • 본 연구는 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인, 공급사슬 역량, 공급사슬 지속가능성 간의 구조적 관계를 규명하는 것으로 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행 요인과 공급사슬 역량 간의 관계, 공급사슬 역량과 공급사슬 지속가능성 간의 관계를 규명하고, 기업규모에 따른 지속가능성 선행요인, 역량, 지속가능성 간의 차이를 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 각 연구가설을 수립하고 검정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 환경규제준수, NGO 대응활동, CSR 활동, 거래공정성은 제조 민첩성, 환경경영, 사회적 자본에 대부분 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검정되었으며, 제조민첩성, 환경경영, 사회적 자본 역시 경제적·환경적·사회적 지속가능성에 대부분 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 검정되었다. 그리고 기업규모에 따라 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인, 역량, 지속가능성에 차이가 있는 것으로 검정되었다. 연구결과에 따른 시사점을 정리하면 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인들로 선정한 환경 규제 준수, NGO 대응활동, CSR 활동, 거래공정성 요인들은 지속가능성의 달성을 위한 공급사슬 역량에 기본적인 선행요인들로서 역할을 수행한다는 것을 확인하였다. 제조 민첩성, 환경경영, 사회적 자본의 형성은 경제적·환경적·사회적 지속가능성의 수준을 제고할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인들의 제고는 공급사슬 역량의 제고로 이어질 수 있고, 나아가 공급사슬 지속가능성까지 제고할 수 있다는 것을 규명하였다. 그리고 대기업과 비교 시 중소기업의 공급사슬 지속가능성 선행요인, 역량, 지속가능성의 수준을 더욱 제고하는 것 요구된다.

간호대학생의 자기성찰 및 통찰력, 학업적 자기효능감이 임상추론역량에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Self-reflection and Insight, and Academic Self-efficacy on Clinical Reasoning Competence among Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of nursing students' self-reflection and insight, and academic selfefficacy on their clinical reasoning competence. Methods: Data were collected from 147 third- and fourth-year nursing students who had more than 6 months of clinical training experience. Clinical reasoning competence, self-reflection and insight, and academic self-efficacy were measured using self-reported questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted with IBM SPSS 25.0 using one-way ANOVA, independent t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Clinical reasoning competence was positively correlated with self-reflection and insight (r=.24, p=.003) and academic self-efficacy (r=.30, p<.001). Academic self-efficacy (β=.23, p=.011), dissatisfaction with major (β=-.17, p=.034), and 5~8 case studies (β=-.39, p=.027) were identified as factors influencing clinical reasoning competence (adjusted R2=.15). Conclusion: To improve the clinical reasoning competence of nursing students, it is necessary to develop the academic self-efficacy of complex cases and provide critical inquiries, debriefing tailored to clinical reasoning, and sufficient reflection during clinical and simulation practice.

문화적응 유형화를 중심으로한 국제결혼이주여성의 부부갈등과 가족상담자의 문화적 역량에 대한 기대 (Marital Conflicts and Expectations to Family Counselors' Cultural Competence Among Immigrated Women Focusing on Typology of Cultural Adaptation)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate on characteristics of sociological and demographic population, marital conflicts and expectations to family counselors' cultural competence surrounding factors of cultural adaptation among immigrated women. This study conducted a survey of 236 immigrated women in Kyonggi province, Seoul metropolitan cities, Cholla and Chunchung provinces and Incheon. The results of this study are as follows: First, a relatively few marital conflicts were found, as a whole, while they had the high levels of expectation to family counselors' cultural competence. Second, immigrated women can be clustered as three different types: 'multiplicity type', 'undifferentiated type' and 'adaptation type'. Third, sociological and demographic population characteristics which were subdivided and clustered according to cultural adaptation made the significant difference between each population. Population with multiplicity type out of the above-stated three types accounted for the highest conflict rates, while population with 'adaptation' type accounted for the lowest conflict rates. Lastly, expectations to family counselors' cultural competence made the significant difference among each population. Population with multiplicity type showed the highest expectation levels on expectations to family counselors' cultural competence, while population with undifferentiated type showed the lowest levels.

신규간호사가 지각한 프리셉터 의사소통 유형에 따른 임상수행능력 및 조직사회화 (Clinical Competence and Organizational Socialization according to Communication Style of Preceptors as Perceived by New Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine clinical competence and organizational socialization according to communication style of preceptors as perceived by new nurses. Methods: From May 1 to July 31, 2014, data were collected from 180 new graduated nurses who had been working for 3~12 months in hospitals in Busan and one in Gyungnam. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficients. Results: Preceptors's communication style perceived by the new nurses included supportive type, reflective type, emotive type, and directive type in order of precedence. The average score for clinical competence was $2.82{\pm}0.31$, and the average score for organizational socialization was $3.05{\pm}0.40$. There were significant differences in nurses' clinical competence(F=9.087, p<.001) and organizational socialization (F=30.129, p<.001) according to preceptor's communication style. Conclusion: Results indicate that supportive and emotive communication styles of preceptors were important factors in the success of the preceptees' clinical competence and organizational socialization.

간호사의 이직의도, 감정노동, 의사소통능력 간의 관계 (Effects of Emotional Labor and Communication Competence on Turnover Intention in Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among turnover intention, emotional labor, and communication competence in nurses. Methods: The participants for this study were 297 nurses from three general hospitals in two local cites in Korea. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires from August 26 to September 10, 2013 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson Correlation, Stepwise Multiple Regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The average scores for turnover intention, emotional labor, and communication competence respectively, were 3.45, 3.08, and 3.44 out of 5. The novices recognized that their emotional labor and turnover intention were significantly higher, and their communication competence was lower than other nurses. Nurses' turnover intention had a positive relationship with their emotional labor, but no relationship with communication competence. Job satisfaction, frequency of emotional expression, and emotional dissonance had an effect on nurses' turnover intention. Conclusion: The results show that emotional labor and job satisfaction are very important factors affecting nurses' turnover intention. So, nurse managers should try to minimize nurses' emotional labor and maximize their job satisfaction by developing various human relationship educational and support programs and using them.

아동병원 간호사의 의사소통능력, 자기효능감이 간호사-환아부모 파트너십에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Communication Competence and Self-Efficacy of Nurses at Children's Hospitals on Partnership with Parents)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the influence of communication competence and self-efficacy of nurses at children's hospitals on the nurse-parent partnership. Methods: Data were collected by surveying (from July 4th to August 4th, 2019) 162 nurses who had 6 or more months of experience across 15 children's hospitals in G City and B Metropolitan City. Using SPSS 23.0 for Windows for data analysis, t-tests, analysis of variance, Bonferroni tests, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis were performed. Results: The nurse-parent partnership showed significantly positive correlations with nurses' communication competence and with self-efficacy. There was a significantly positive correlation between nurses' communication competence and self-efficacy. The factors influencing the nurse-parent partnership were nurses' communication competence, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy; the total explanatory power of these variables was 47.0%. Conclusion: Since the communication competence of nurses at children's hospitals was identified as a major factor influencing the nurse-parent partnership, it may be meaningful to conduct basic research aimed at developing strategies to improve this partnership at children's hospitals.

외국인 환자 간호에 대한 간호사의 문화역량 영향요인 (Factors Affecting Cultural Competence of Nurses Caring for Foreign Patients)

  • Background: The purpose of this study was to examine the cultural competence of nurses caring for foreign patients in general hospitals. Methods: The subjects are 308 nurses who work in general hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The data, collected using a structured questionnaire on cultural competence, coping strategy, multicultural experience, intercultural uncertainty, and intercultural anxiety, were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Cultural competence was significantly associated with marital status, level of education, type of ward, and number of cared foreign patients. In hierarchical multiple regression analysis, the level of cultural competence was significantly associated with married, master degree qualified, high level of coping strategy and multicultural experience, and low level of cultural uncertainty. Conclusion: The findings revealed the need for educational programs which can contribute to lower the intercultural uncertainty and to enhance coping strategies dealing with foreign patients. In addition, individual and organization efforts to provide opportunities to expand nurses' multicultural experience will affect nurses' cultural competence development.

119 구급대원의 외상 후 스트레스와 공감역량이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (Influence of post-traumatic stress and compassion competence on the quality of life of emergency medical technicians)

  • Purpose: This descriptive correlational study investigated the effects of post-traumatic stress and compassion competence on the quality of life of 119 Emergency medical technicians(EMTs). Methods: The data of 119 EMTs were collected between May 1 and September 30, 2020. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS 24.0 program. Results: Post-traumatic stress was seen to be negatively correlated with the quality of life (r=-.456, p<.001) and compassion competence was positively correlated with quality of life (r=.250, p=.006). Participants' subjective health status (β=0.30, p<.001), post-traumatic stress (β=-0.39, p=.001) and compassion competence (β=0.29, p<.001) explained 38.5% of variance in the quality of life of the 119 EMTs. Conclusion: These findings indicate that post-traumatic stress and compassion competence are important factors to improve the quality of life of EMTs. Therefore, systematic programs for reducing post-traumatic stress and enhancing compassion competence levels should be developed.
