  • We establish a common n-tupled fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings under new contractive condition. It is to be noted that to find n-tupled coincidence point, we do not use the condition of continuity of any mapping involved. An example supporting to our result has also been cited. We improve, extend and generalize several known results.

  • In the present paper, utilizing (𝜙, 𝜓)-weak contractive conditions, unique fixed point and some coincidence point results have been studied in the context of cone 2- metric spaces. Also, our obtained results generalize some results from cone metric space to cone 2-metric space. For the authenticity of the presented work, a non trivial example is also provided.

  • The field of land surveying is changing dramatically due to the way data is processed, analyzed and presented. Also, there is a growing demand for digital spatial information, coming primarily from the GIS (Geographical Information System) user community. Such a demand has created a strong development potential for a new land surveying software. An overview of the development and capabilities of a land surveying software platform based on the Windows system, SurveyingMap, is presented. Among its many features, SurveyingMap provides a lot of adaptability for networks adjustment, geodetic and plane coordinates transformation, contouring, sectioning, DTM (Digital Terrain Model) generation, and large scale mapping applications. The system output is compatible with well known computer aided drafting (CAD) /GIS packages to expand its scope of applications. SurveyingMap is also suitable for non-technical users due to the user-friendly graphic user interface. The system could be used in engineering, architecture, GIS, and academic teaching and research, among other fields. Two applications of SurveyingMap, extension of field control and large scale mapping, for the case study area are established. The results demonstrate that the system is adaptable and reasonably priced for use by college and university students.

A Study on the Natural Mapping between Burner and Switch of Gas Range by Color coding (가스레인지에 있어서 칼라코딩을 통한 버너와 스위치의 자연적 대응에 관한 연구)

  • People store information not only in their Drain but also material things. Norman called it knowledge in the world. The general way to store the information is to paste labels. 4 burner gas range force user to make conceptual model between burner and switch to see labels. but those are cognitive stress. Norman suggested spatial analogies for natural mapping between display and control. However the way of his methods in spatial analogies was not compatible with kitchen atmosphere. To solve those problems 1 suggested color coding . This study hypothesized that the mapping between burner and switch is realized by color coding. To testy the hypothesis 1 compared A group using general gas range with B group using color coded gas range. The result showed difference between A and B in accuracy ( F (1, 38) = 17.892, p < 0.01) and response time ( F (1, 38) = 6.726 p < 0.05). The result of this test is to certify that color coding affect peoples by presenting the difference accuracy and response time. As result this study presents that color coding can be compatible the product having importance to certify in the design process.

Hardware Design of Real-Time Wide Dynamic Range Algorithm Based on Tone Mapping Method for Image Quality Enhancement (영상 품질 향상을 위한 색 사상 기반 실시간 광역역광보정 알고리즘의 하드웨어 설계)

  • Method for improving the image quality are divided into a tone mapping method and a retinex theory based method. Typical example of the image quality enhancement method using tone mapping method is one using image characteristics like histogram. In this paper, we propose a hardware design of real-time wide dynamic range algorithm based on tone mapping method for image quality enhancement. The proposed method divides the image into the luminance and chroma components and then improves the chroma region based on the variation of the luminance component. Adding to that, it is designed to be compatible with the existing 8-bit signal, using high quality image with 12-bit extended signal according to the desired flow. As a result of simulation, it is confirmed that the image quality is improved, and the hardware design is confirmed that the real-time operations is possible at the maximum frequency at 138.26MHz.

  • Archival description is considered as a creation and curation process, and the results of the descriptive records can be used for archival information service. Therefore, various archival descriptive standards provide essential guidelines for establishing a semantic and synthetic structure of the archival records. In this study, the structural aspects of the archival descriptive standards were analyzed and an experimental mapping between General International Standard Archival Description (ISAD(G)), the archival standard, and CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model (CIDOC CRM), the domain ontology of cultural heritage field was performed. The data structure of ISAD(G) is examined in advance and mapping was performed using Karma as a platform. It was thus concluded that there is a need to understand the ontology-based mapping method and the event-focused domain ontology. Moreover, developing a CIDOC CRM-compatible archival ontology and restructuring the legacy ISAD(G) are needed.

  • In this paper, we propose a LiDAR driver that virtualizes multiple inexpensive LiDARs (Light Detection and Ranging) with a smaller number of scan channels on an autonomous vehicle to replace a single expensive LiDAR with a larger number of scan channels. As a result, existing SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) algorithms can be used with no modifications developed assuming a single LiDAR. In the paper, the proposed driver was implemented on the Robot Operating System and was evaluated with an existing SLAM algorithm. The results show that the proposed driver, combined with a filter to control the density of points in a 3D map, is compatible with the existing algorithm.

  • This study developed an experimental program for mapping temperature and salinity distribution around the Korean marginal seas using Ocean Data View (ODV) software. Serial ocean observational data have been analyzed after being converted to the ODV compatible format using a separated program newly developed for this study. When this new experimental program was applied to 65 pre-service teachers, it was found that the quality of assignment completion with a new program improved compared with that of the same group who used the existing program. A questionnaires was employed to delve into participants' satisfaction of the new program. Findings depicted that accurate and quick drawing of isoline drew the highest responses of satisfaction, and confirmed positive responses to the understanding and application of this new experimental program.

  • There are issues regarding how some of traffic parameters should be set so that ATM and non-ATM service parameters can be compatible. For example, policing method used by frame relay based on CIR(committed information rate) will not exactly match the ATM UPC(Usage Parameter Control) method. ATM and the frame relay have different transfer modes and traffic parameters. The cells and frames are police by their own traffic control schemes. For the same information, the real traffic of the ATM side takes greater bandwidth than that of the frame relay side caused by ATM cell format and AAL5 format. IN both networks this bandwidth than that of the frame relay side caused by ATM cell format and AAL5 format. In both networks this bandwidth ratio should be considered on traffic parameter mapping to maintain their QoS and to perform efficient network resource management. In this paper we describe traffic parameter mapping schemes between frame relay and ATM in ATM network and how to expect the bandwidth ratio to maintain FR QoS in ATM network. We assumed frame length distribution to Erlang or Exponential probability density function.
