  • An analytical procedure to analyze reinforced concrete (RC) frame subject to cyclic as well as monotonic loadings is proposed on the basis of the layered section method. In contrast to the classical nonlinear approaches adopting the perfect bond assumption, the bond-slip effect along the reinforcing bar is quantified with the force equilibrium and compatibility condition at the post-cracking stage and its contribution is implemented into the reinforcing. The advantage of the proposed analytical procedure, therefore, will be on the consideration of the bond-slip effect while using the classical layered section method without additional consideration such as taking the double nodes. Through correlation studies between experimental data and analytical results, it is verified that the proposed analytical procedure can effectively simulate the cracking behavior of RC beams, columns and Frame accompanying the stiffness degradation caused by the bond-slip.

  • This paper presents a model for evaluating the contribution by arch action and frame action to shear resistance in shear-critical reinforced concrete beams without stirrup. The rotating angle softened truss model is employed to calculate the shear deformation of the web and the relative axial displacement of the compression and tension chord by the shear flow are also calculated. From this shear compatibility condition in a beam, the shear contribution by the arch action is numerically decoupled. The transverse strain obtained from the proposed model is selected for shear failure criterion. Using the failure criterion, shear strength of RC slender beams without stirrup is predicted.

  • This study is aimed at proposing a new research model in which application store intention to acceptance influence factors (i.e.. facilitating condition, mobile computing self-efficacy, service compatibility, and system quality) affect TAM (i.e., perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use) positively, leading to application store intention to acceptance eventually. This study developed a research model to explain the use of Apple's App Store, and collected 228 survey responses from the undergraduate students who had experiences with such application store services as game and personal information management application download. To prove the validity of the proposed research model, PLS analysis is applied with valid 228 questionnaires. By employing PLS technique, the measurement reliability and validity of research variables are tested and the path analysis is conducted to do the hypothesis testing. In brief, the finding of this study suggests that application store intention to acceptance influence factors affect TAM positively, and application store intention to acceptance as well.

  • In this paper a general analytical approach is proposed to analyse the nonlinear response of elastic cable under complex loads. The effect of temperature change on the cable is also considered. From the vertical equilibrium equations of cable, the general analytical formula of vertical displacement is derived. Based on the vertical displacement formula and on the compatibility condition of the cable, the dimensionless equation with respect to cable tension is established. By means of such analytical procedures, the exact solutions of various cable problems can be obtained quickly. The example given in this paper shows that the new procedure is efficient for practical analysis and can be easily implemented by a general computer program without the superposition problem which there has always been in traditional analytical methods.

  • The stress intensity factor has been calculated theoretically for the cracked plate subjected to remote normal stress and reinforced with a plate by symmetric seam welding. The singular integral equation was derived based on displacement compatibility condition between the cracked plate and the reinforcement plate, and solved by means of Erdogan and Gupta's method. The results from the derived equation for stress intensity factor were compared with FEM solutions and seems to be reasonable. The reinforcement effect gets better as welding line is closer to the crack and the stiffness ratio of the cracked plate and the reinforcement plate becomes larger.

  • As more vehicles become equipped with advanced electronic control systems, more consideration is needed with regards to automotive safety issues related to the effects of electromagnetic waves. Unwanted electromagnetic waves from the antenna, electricity and other electronic devices cause the performance and safety problem of automotive components. In general, Power Integrity and Signal Integrity analysis have been widely used, but these analyses have stayed PCB level. PCB base analysis is different from radiated emission TEST condition so its results are used just for reference. This paper proposes EMC optimization technology using module level 3-dimensional radiation simulation process closed to fundamental test conditions. If module level EMC analysis, which is proposed in this study, is applied to all automotive electronics systems, unexpected EMC noise will be prevented.

  • This paper describes the synthesis of robust and non-fragile Η$^{\infty}$ output feedback controller for parameter uncertain systems with time delay. The sufficient condition of controller existence, and the design method of robust and non-fragile Η$^{\infty}$ output feedback controller are presented. The obtained conditions can be represented as parameterized LMIs, and PLMIs feasibility problems involve infinitely many LMIs hence are very hard to solve. Therefore, PLMIs are replaced by a finite set of LMIs using relaxation techniques(separated convexity concepts). This method is potentially conservative but often provide practically exploitable solutions of difficult problems with a reasonable computational effort. The compatibility of resulting controller is illustrated by numerical example.

  • The Titanium has many superior characteristics Which are specific strength, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, organism compatibility, non-magnetic and etc. and their quantity are abundant this study performed turning operation of Ti-6Al-4V alloy using the TiAlN Coate Tool which treated PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). Experimental works are also executed to measure cutting force, chip figuration and surface roughness for different cutting conditions. As a result of study. Tool wear was serious at over 100m/min of cutting speed and cutting condition was excellent at 1.0mm of cutting depth.

  • Present paper describes on/off design performance analysis of an 74KW industrial turboshaft gasturbine engine. Procedures to match between the compressor, combustor and turbine have been incorporated into the developed program satisfying compatibility requirement of flow and work and ratational speed. The validity of the performance results from the developed program are yet to be proved through performance experiments of the resultant engine, but comparison of the present results with those from "GASCAN(Thermoflow:America) under similar mass inlet flow, pressure ratio, and speed condition show good agreement despite present results underpredict 6-10% for power and up to 3% in efficiency, respectively.

  • We establish a common coupled fixed point theorem for hybrid pair of mappings under generalized Mizoguchi-Takahashi contraction on a noncomplete metric space, which is not partially ordered. It is to be noted that to find coupled oincidence point, we do not employ the condition of continuity of any mapping involved therein. An example is also given to validate our results. We improve, extend and generalize several known results.
