Since many articles have studied ADR in America, Germany, Japan and the like which developed the system in advance, this article compares ADR in major Asian countries including China, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and Vietnam etc. introducing ADR organizations as well. On the matter of vigorous trade and investment between Asian countries currently, it seems inevitable not to have consequential disputes through international exchange. Thus it will be very useful to know the law to resolve the conflict between the countries involved. This article is written to help to resolve the disputes in Asian countries and provide research materials to develop ADR in Korea by comparing the ones in major Asian countries. In addition, the comparative study of ADR in Asian countries should be continued to find the model which best fits in Asia as well as to nurture talent.

  • Purpose - This study, in seeking to understand the trade structure of both Korea and China, aims to strengthen Korea-China economic cooperation; it examines trade impediments by analyzing the problems affecting trade and addressing these problems, thereby discovering ways to expand trade between these countries. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - The index of trade intensity developed by the trade intensity theory (Kruger, 1997) is used to analyze the trade decision factors of both countries. Although specific factors should have materialized from the analysis of trade decision factors, determining concrete explanations is difficult in reality, as there are many unsolved and diverse factors. Results - First, the index of A value/B value is the index of Korean versus Chinese market share/Korean versus world market share, which is a measure of comparative market intensity. Second, Korea has a comparative advantage in export specialization and, conversely, China has a comparative advantage in import specialization. Third, compared to 2000, the revealed comparative advantage (RCA) indexes are considerably improved. Conclusions - This study used quantitative measurement for analysis, applying trade intensity theory, trade specialization, and RCA indexes to gauge how inter-trade relations have changed between Korea and China during the past 10 years (2000, 2005, and 2012).

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze market competitiveness of Korean and Chinese computer parts industry in the between two countries' market by using Index of Export Bias and Market Comparative Advantage Index. For attaining the purpose of study, we classified the computer parts which exported to the two countries' market and the imported products as the memory devices and input/output peripheral devices. Analyzing period was 2001-2006. The analysis of Korean results of Index of Export Bias indicated that memory devices represented low overall numerical value and the Chinese results of Index of Export Bias indicated that memory devices represented high gradual numerical value. On the other hand, Korean input/output peripheral devices have been increasing steadily for analysis period and China input/output peripheral devices have been decreasing steadily for analysis period. Additional results indicated that the Korean and China computer parts which gained market competitiveness between two countries market were as follows. Korean memory devices have been losing competitiveness in the China market steadily and Chinese memory devices have been acquire competitiveness in the Korean market gradually. In input/output peripheral devices case, Korean products represented powerful competitiveness in the China market and Chinese products have been gaining competitiveness in the Korea market.

  • This study was designed to make a comparative analysis of fertility control policies in developing countries selected from Asia and Latin America. Considering the size and the density of population, the history of the fertility control policy, and the availability of references, eight countries were chosen among Asian developing countries that have adopted the fertility control as an official policy. All of nine countries in Latin America that have adopted family planning as an official policy were included in this study. An attempt was made to formulate an analytical framework to be used for a comparative analysis of fertility control policies. It can be represented by a continuum which consists of individual approaches and structural approaches to fertility control at both extremes. It represents fairly well the controversies between those who advocate family planning and those who advocate measures beyond family planning, but assumes that the two sides of the controversy form a continuum of approaches to fertility control. Various fertility control policies of each country were placed along this continuum and analyzed. The results of the analysis can be summarized as follows: (a) Those countries that have higher population pressure in terms of either the size of population or the population density tend to adopt fertility control policies earlier in time. (b) Those countries that have higher population pressure in terms of either the size of population or the population density tend to adopt more comprehensive measures along the continuum of fertility control policies. (c) Those countries that adopted more comprehensive measures along the continuum seem to have succeeded in reducing their level of fertility more effectively. (d) Developing countries in Asia tend to adopt more comprehensive measures to control fertility than those in Latin American countries. (e) The reduction of fertility in developing countries seems to be associated with both the fertility control policies and the level of socioeconomic development.

  • This study investigates the different pattern of trade negotiation between Korea and Japan. For the Korea, it is inevitable to enhance nation's competitiveness position amid the rapidly changed international environment. Especially, Korea's recent experience of IMF credit under economic crisis during 1997-1999 tells us the importance of international trade and trade negotiation. Our main interest is focused on the comparative pattern of both countries with the recognition that the role of the negotiation can not be overemphasized for the Korea. This is because Korea has continuously recorded the huge trade deficits with Japan for the long time. Although we consider the different degrees of products quality, industrial structure, productivity, and national competitiveness of both countries, it is necessarily required to pay special attention on different pattern of negotiation skills and tactics between two countries. In the paper, we suggest some important guidelines for Korea to improve its negotiation technique with Japan. First, valuing human relation between negotiators, rather than negotiating process. Second, preparing for negotiations: the negotiators should try to carve out enough time to prepare for the bargaining. Third, appreciating the power of patience: very essential to effective outputs. Fourth, being a specialist on both countries' culture and avoiding lawyers' intervention for conflict resolution.

Infant mortality and under-5 mortality rate decreased in all countries; also, life expectancy increased, and it was more than 70 years. Regulations of the health systems are still highly centralized, and the Ministry of Health is the main organ responsible for national health policy developing and implementation. Among the three countries, only Kyrgyzstan was successful in introducing a national health system. Distribution of health expenditure between public expenditure and out-of-pocket payments was decreased, and out-of-pocket payments were less the 50% of total health expenditure in all countries, in 2014. Conclusion: After independent, all three countries implemented a certain number of the policy reform, mostly it was directed to move away from the old the Soviet system. Subsequent reform should be focused on evidence-based decision making and strengthening of primary health care in terms of new public health concepts.

Ever since free from Japanese empire domination of modern history in Korean peninsular, Korea has been strong relationship with USA almost every fields. The purpose of this research is to realize which country is more competitive between 2 country's trade structure. This research conducted for period from 2000 to 2016. Expecting effect is to learn how to improve ship industry for 2 countries. Research method is used by comparative advantage trade theory. Even though Koran government has been accomplishing trade stimulus environment against USA ship industry, it is research limitation that overseas productions both Korean & USA are not available due to company business strategy. From early 50's, every USA industries hold a dominant position so far. Now, Korea is comparative advantage against that of USA in the field of ship industry. Sound competition relationship is good for both 2 countries for mutual benefits. The future prospect is Korea needs export market diversification to enlarge economic growth in the long run.

  • In this paper, we propose a comparative study of Informatics subject curriculums and textbooks in middle school between Korea and England because both countries have similar national curriculums about software education which has computational thinking as objectives of education and good-qualified textbooks for teachers and students. we looked through the Informatics and Computing curriculums and textbook of both countries in order to give good reference case to Informatics textbook manufacturer. In addition, we verified the validity of this study through FGI. The results of this study will be a good case study about designing Informatics curriculum and making Informatics textbooks in middle school.
