Evaluation for Express of Brand Identity in Brand Experience Spaces -Mainly with Analysis on Domestic 4 Brand Experience Space- (브랜드체험관에서의 브랜드 정체성(BI) 표현에 관한 연구 -국내 4개의 브랜드 체험관을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the BI elements of expression for four brand's experience spaces in Korea and propose a direction for improvements for such spaces. I started with the theoretical background of nowadays brand marketing and experiential BI elements through literature researches, and then researched the property of spatial expressions to analyze BI elements. Based on this research, I analyzed four domestic brand experience spaces. As a result, brand experience spaces must clearly express the brand image of the company through various contents and situations to effectively communicate and improve BI expressions. Also, they need long-term experience contents for sustained relationships rather than short-term experiences. I expect this study will be a good resource for BI expression research in brand experience spaces. I also believe that this study can guide other studies about BI expression in other fields.

Design analysis and improvement of Korean women's basketball and volleyball uniforms (국내 프로 여자 농구와 배구 유니폼의 디자인 분석과 개선방안)

  • This study aims to integrate sports uniform design into fashion as an effective communication means by analyzing the uniforms of women's pro basketball and volleyball teams in the country. As part of the research method, a literature review was conducted on the domestic pro sports background and women's basketball and volleyball uniforms. For empirical research, an analysis was performed of the uniforms of 12 teams in total: six women's pro basketball teams and six women's pro volleyball teams in the 2013~2014 league. The following results were obtained. First, in terms of formativeness, sleeveless shirts and shorts are basic in both basketball and volleyball. However, there are remarkable differences between the two. Shirts in volleyball are tighter, with the body figure visible, and shorts are shorter in length than those in basketball. Most basketball uniforms have a V-neckline and are collarless, while volleyball uniforms have a standup collar in all teams. Second, both basketball and volleyball apply the representative color of the sponsoring company and the team's typical color, but common colors, such as blue, navy, and white, are used in many teams, which fails to represent a uniquely differentiated image. Third, the logo or symbol of a sponsor is excessively applied to both basketball and volleyball uniforms. This downgrades the uniform's own esthetic features. Fourth, a fashionable uniform design, that reflects the bodily characteristics of women and the characteristics of the sports game would be a beneficial communication tool for all the tiers to become involved in participation and entertainment.

  • Recently, After Service(AS) management in apartment housing projects has been appeared as one of the major factors for improving customer satisfaction, and increasing competitiveness and raising image of a company in construction industry. The primary objective of this paper is to propose a web-based AS management system which enables field engineers to effectively collect AS information required from customers and effectively manage the statuses and results of AS performed. It is anticipated that the effective use of the system proposed in this paper would be able to improve communication efficiency among the AS participants, and help field engineers systematically manage and accumulate data that might be utilized as a reference in future construction projects.

  • Today, the company is trying to improve for business performance through the optimization of corporate resources. Most companies set up new strategy for obtaining competitive advantage for survival in rapid changes of the global business environment. IT has an important role to reduce cost and to increases business performance such as increasing sales, improving business skills and corporate image, etc. in the corporate environment. The development and use of IT resource is recognized as essential in connection with the business strategy. Most companies tried to establish the strategic use of information systems to gain competitive advantage. IT resource management is not clear in a tangible result of the business. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between IT competency and organizational performance through the mediating effect of strategic use of IS. IT competency consists of IT human resource, IT infrastructure, and IT vendor management. In direct relationship between three IT competence factors and organizational performance, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that IT human resource and IT vendor management are important determinants to influence organizational performance. The additional analysis for mediating effect of strategic use of IS showed that it has mediated the relationship between IT competency factors and organizational performance. This results give us an implication, not only the importance of IT competency development, but also the importance of strategic alignment of strategic use of IS with business strategy.

  • This is the time that political effort is required to encourage domestic companies to expand overseas facing internationalization. Regarding exportation, not only major companies, but SMEs also should be greatly concerned. As for the case of SMEs, it has been thought to be as inferior brand image in domestic market, but as world market such as China is very huge and diverse. There is high possibility of increasing in export of SMEs with concerns. To strengthen the competitiveness and develop the potential of SMEs, promoting renovation of system is a must, over the renovation of skill or management. It is important to figure out the degree of contribution and route for exports, since every company has different aspects. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to calculate the degree of contribution of Korean SMEs, and to find further improvements by understanding export route. It also tries to suggest proper policies to vitalize SME's export.

  • This study is to analysis on movie costume including the personal characters, social influences and situational effects of the main heroines among the expressions of clothing through the movie, "Gone with the Wind" produced by the MGM Company in America in 1939 with the collapse of the social classes through the American Civil War as its setting. The range of this study is to look into the images of cinema costumes like the colors and silhouette related to the roles based on the movie. According to this study, first, we can see the changing process from crinoline to bustle styles by historical invastigations into clothing styles rather than the images of roles in the aspect of silhouette Scarlet of hanghty and challenging character is shawn in X-type silhouette mainly using capped sleeves and laces and Mellany of obedient and generous character, compared with Scarlet, is showing less detail effects, and is expressed in A-type silhouette of modesty and maturity. Second, there are remarkable differences of colors and details in which starlet who had the pioneer spirit used the vivid tones like red, green and black, and white laces and blades as an accent while Mellany who was considerate and soft used the dark tones like black and blue, and white and blue lace shawls And third, in images, Scarlet who was very positive in sociai activities is expressed as a elegance and romantic images in the sophisticated and modern styles but Mellany who was a good and steady housewife was shown as a elegance image in the mannish styles.

Extended Script Structure for Advertisement Game Development (광고형 게임 개발을 위한 확장 스크립트 구조)

  • This paper proposes the knowledge structure of an extended script for advertisement style game embodiment. This approach is able to allow for developing game and advertisement module. Research to reconsider contradictory awareness about existent game have been evolving from game education system, advertisement style game and simulation game for training and so on. In this paper, a situation hierarchy structure which allows the designer for simulating high-level specifications of game structure. And we describes with mathematical structure for proposed situation structure. Game unfolding utilizes with causality. Game reflects situation of a spatiotemporal real world. For this goal, we applied extended script to game world. Advertisement style module progresses by method to provide company's advertisement to user while game is gone. The advantage of proposed method are able to allows for novice to effectively insert banner image, video and so on into advertisement module. The proposed method was implemented in the "Shooting BaDuk" among games.

  • The medical instrument industry which is one of the high value added industry has been neglected on the various system and political support because it has been recognized as an unknown field to the public although it is the very easy-approaching field for the export market that minimize a technological gap between advanced country and Korea. Especially, the product design that is very important element for the efficient medical treatment and the psychological stabilization of patient is a typical field of lack of investment and support by the unconcern and lack of understanding of design. Therefore this research suggests the current problem of design with the general inquiry of internal and external market situation and domestic medical instrument industry and also it has the conclusion of an alternative proposal for the solution with the design development processing of a moving type-image diagnostic equipment. We will emboss the importance of design competitiveness, suggest the model and basic data to the medical instrument company that starts later, and be a role of inspiration for the lasting investible desire with this research.

  • There are gradually built on electronic commerce and business information system for the effective and automated use of internet while the mainstream of industry moves on information. It is necessary that a company should develop a electronic approval system because the business documents have application to an electronic commerce, business information system as well Currently, electronic approval system on groupware is using the way of inserting the image of an approval signature, which is vulnerable on a security by attacks of fraudulent use of electrical signature and eavesdropping on electronic documents. In this paper, we implementation XML form generator based on DTD having business documents structure for creating a valid business XML documents. we designed electronic approval system based on secured XML which transfers encrypted documents. For the security issues of written XML business documents, it makes use of the crypto algorithm having high performance transaction by the interchange of public key between a server and a client.

  • In this paper, we designed manufactured and design an integrated interface control unit that has compatibility with brightness control unit, color control unit, and existing control unit. As the implementation method the standard of DVI/HDMI transmission method is applied to the data transmission method, and the Sil 1169 IC is used as the applied IC. Brightness control is programmed to have eight levels of brightness control using the AT89C2051. Also, EPM240T100C5 IC was used for image and dimming data processing. As a result, it is compatible with the control unit using the DVI/HDMI transmission method manufactured by each company and can reproduce clear high quality full HD video according to the surrounding brightness through the full color LED display system.
