Objective : By organizing systematically the study case that use Robot Therapy as intervention tool according to PICO (Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome), This study aims to investigate the domestic Robot Therapy's present condition. Methods : We searched 710 pieces of domestic scientific journal and master's thesis during the past nine years in 'Research Information Sharing Service' and 'National Digital Science Library' database using the keyword 'Robot therapy'. We finally chose 15 pieces of domestic scientific journal and master's thesis among the domestic studies that based on the full text which is affordable and used robot by therapeutic intervention tool. Chosen studies were layed out by PICO that could organize the resources systematically. Results : The quality of study tool was used to the method of evidence-based study level of 5 step classification. More than three stages of quality level study was 13. Result of dividing the studies using robot therapy by intervention field, language, lower extremity(gait), cognition, development and study for the region of the upper extremity of five is advancing. Conclusion : Nationally, the robot therapy has been used in various area that include the upper extremity and lower extremity's intervention of language, cognition, growth and others. We hope that this study for baseline data will be utilized in various area engaging to domestic robot therapy.

Objective : This study is to provide basic data for hospice occupational therapy and to develop hospice occupational therapy curriculum in Korea. Methods : 45 articles were selected from CINAHL, MEDLINE, and Scopus, which were published from 1980 to 2013. The selected articles were analyzed in term of study year, study source, author's characteristics, study subjects, and study designs. Results : The number of studies have increased steadily since the 1980's. A total of 21 research journals was published, and the most highest published journals were American Journal of Occupational Therapy. Qualitative research methodology was employed four times more than quantitative research methodology. Interventions included various formats such as crafts, ADLs trainings, relaxation techniques, care giver educations and applications of spirituality. The doing-being-becoming theoretical framework and the model of human occupation applied to hospice or palliative patients as a theoretical foundation. Conclusion : Hospice occupational therapy has been developed along with hospice and palliative medicine. There also appeared to be a balance on both clinical trials and researches The hospce occupational therapy care has being studied deeply with various topic. More efforts on curriculum developments as well as clinical advances pertinent to the palliative care should be proceed to warrant making the start of the hospice and palliative occupational therapy in Korea.

This paper proposes that people with disability can be successfully supported by smart homes only when their needs of the technological interventions are understood and integrated in traditional universal design. Understanding the patient's home environment is an integral part of treatment and discharge planning. This paper suggests on architectural barriers commonly found in the home, ways to eliminate them and a general overview of methods for assessment and intervention. It is expected that the electronics, information and communication technology can be an alternative of traditional universal designs for motor dysfucntion, sensory dysfunction and cognitive dysfunction.

Objective : This study was a meta-analysis of previous studies to examine the integration of related factors depression University students of Korea, and to determine the relative importance among the relevant factors based on it. Methods : 2000-2014 papers posted on the National Science and Technology Information Center (NDSL), Nurimedia (DBpia), Academic Research Information Service (RISS), Korea Research Information(KISS), provide the text of the Library of Congress were collected using the service. The Key words a 'University Student', 'Depression', 'Depression Factors' was used. Used the Down & Black level, evidence-based checklist was developed by the research (1998) (checklist) had analyzed the selected document metadata to assess the quality. Results : 47-studies selected research groups are divided into five factors(self-esteem, suicidal ideation, positive thinking, stresses, Internet and smartphone addiction). Using meta-analysis, we analyzed the effect sizes, statistical heterogeneity and publication amenities. As a result, the self-esteem of the five factors were not found heterogeneity. Effect size is a self-esteem and suicidal ideation "large effect size", positive thinking and stress "medium effect size", internet and smart phone addiction"small effect size". Conclusion : Self-esteem and suicidal ideation are among the factors associated with depression in University students of Korea was found that the most relevant. It identified the factors associated with depression in college students, and could utilized as basis for the prevention of depression.

Objective : The aim of this study was to investigate the status of infection for infectious diseases and infection control in occupational therapy. Methods : This study was implemented through the survey composed of the status of infection for infectious disease and the infection control and awareness of the infection control. The duration of survey was a month, June, 2016. 111 occupational therapists in 23 room of occupational therapy completed a survey. Results : 34.8% of occupational therapy room experienced the infectious diseases. This study showed the occupational therapists have high performance in almost items of infection control. But the occupational therapist showed the low performance in the items including 'Washing hands over than 15 seconds', 'Washing hands before and after wearing gloves', 'Wearing mask during treatment', 'Throwing away mask after using' and 'Washing your uniform separate from other cloths'. Almost occupational therapists think infection control is important and the education for infection control is needed in occupational therapy. But most of the education is implemented in only medical institution. Conclusion : To improve performance in infection control, individual effort of occupational therapists and institutional strategies are needed. This study will use as basic data for the education about infection control aimed at the occupational therapists.

Objective : The study is to suggest basic data for the expansion and the necessity of the occupational therapy at the day care center for infants with disabilities through investigating actual use and satisfaction of parents who use the day care center for infants with disabilities in Daegu Kyonbuk area. Methods : From May 15 to 29, 2009, 105 parents using the day care center for infants with disabilities were surveyed. Results : Terms of age group, parents using the day care center for infants with disabilities are mostly 30s and 40s. In terms of academic background, there were 58% of secondary school graduates and 38.9% of college graduates. Parents with experiencing 3 years of the occupational theory had 37.1%, which held the largest group. 75% of the objects agreed that infants with disabilities received enough occupational therapy, while they pointed out that the financial burden for therapy would be the major factor in the therapy. Conclusion : In order to provide a qualified occupational therapy in accordance with each individual's purpose at the day care center for infants with disabilities, it would be necessary to expand occupational therapy, to increase the demand for the occupational therapy from parents, and to secure enough number of therapists and financial support from the government and municipalities.

Objective : Commonly experienced as an occupational therapist to reveal the meaning of conflict, development by providing information on the quality of official development plan for therapists were willing to contribute. Method : In this study using Parse's human becoming method to collect and analyze data. Participants to understand purpose of the study's researchers and that can be spoken honestly their experience through dialogue were selected eight people as a clinical occupational therapist. Conversation period January-February 2012 was, at the time of about 30-40 minutes, Every conversation is more than three times for each participant were conducted. Result : Experience of occupational therapists, occupational therapy as a conflict of identity confusion and lack of awareness, feeling that comes from a poor working environment and social life, mental conflict, payroll issues to worry about, but concerns about the treatment of the future with hope and effort in the process was an experience. However, external, internal conflicts despite the uneasy reality academic experience for self-development and growth, and the development towards a positive future was out over it. Conclusion : Away from the internal and external conflicts therapists, occupational therapy and establish the identity of satisfaction and quality of care for the treatment to improve their physical and social environment, continuous improvement is necessary.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation between sociodemographic characteristics and attitude of job for occupational therapist. Method : Among 125 occupational therapists who voluntarily responded on structured survey final subject of study is total 123 persons except two occupational therapists who did not respond completely. Result : Attitude of Job was significantly different according to employment status and hospital types, and job stress was significantly different according to employment status and job directivity was significantly different according to hosipital types. Also, for correlation of job attitude, job satisfaction was high as higher job stability, lower job stress, and higher job directivity. Conclusion : To improve attitude of job, employment status should be regularized and the education and improvement of labor conditions are necessary to improve attitude of job and job directivity.

Objective : This research was conducted in order to identify the influence of leisure activity by the spinal cord injury(SCI) on quality of life and present it as evidence for occupational therapy intervention. Methods : The experiment was conducted from October 2010 to March 2011 and was subjected 120 SCI of 9 administration. In use of SPSS 12, 94 samples from 120 SCI were analysis by freqency analysis, T-test and One-way ANOVA. Results : The satisfaction of leisure depending on SCI level and level of paralysis had a significant differences statistically(p< .05). Conclusion : From the research, it was identified that satisfaction of leisure can be improve depending on the level of injury and classification of paralysis, and leisure activity is related to the satisfaction of leisure and quality of life.

Objective : The current study investigated the effectiveness of group occupational activity program in increasing visual-perception and motor function of children in Community Children Center. Methods : Five children aged between 6-9 years in a community children center participated in the group occupational activity program. The program was designed to facilitate children's visual-perception and motor function based on play occupations. We examined performances of MVPT-3 and BOT-2 before and after the program. Results : Children who participated in the group program showed significant increases in visual perception and motor function. Conclusion : The study revealed the effectiveness of group occupational activity program in promoting visual perception and motor function of children in a community children center, which suggests the possibility of application of occupational activity toward low-income children in the community.
