This paper describes the development of a data management system which manages the database on World Wide Web(WWW). It is the pa.0 of WISIF(Web-based geographic Information System for Irrigation Facilities) which is a prototype of an information management system for irrigation facilities. This system includes a web serve. and a RDBMS(Relational DataBase Management System). Netscape Enterprise Server 3.0 is used for a web server and for the latter, Oracle DBMS 7.3 for NT is used for a RDBMS. Users can cornet the database through a web browser, such as Netscape Communicator, to insert, update, delete and search data they want

In this paper, a controller with monitoring functions is proposed for controlling temperature of an electric furnace system. The controller includes holding and ramp control functions, and the control program for the temperature process monitor of the electric furnace. For this purpose, the implementation and performance of auto tuning algorithms in a computer¬based controller is studied in relation to control of a nonlinear electric furnace system which is characterized with large time delay. The communicator of a control and detection signals, between the controller and the electric furnace is implemented by an I/O data card. Experiments for the practical electric furnace are performed to illustrate the performance of the proposed controller.

애니메이션 캐릭터는 아이디어 지향의 고 부가가치 산업으로 다양한 시너지 효과를 창출하기 때문에 경제적인 측면만으로도 그 가치가 높다. 무엇보다도 애니메이션 캐릭터의 가치는 대중문화 커뮤니케이터로서의 역할에 있다. 애니메이션 캐릭터의 범람속에서 생활하는 대중들은 캐릭터에 의해 표현되는 다양한 성격과 행동에 영향받고 있다. 그러나 범람이라고 할만큼 대중의 생활을 둘러싸고 있는 애니메이션 캐릭터들의 성격과 행동들은 주로 극단적인 성향을 나타내고 있어, 대중사회의 유지와 존속에 필요한 역할모델의 제시에 부정적인 기능을 하고 있다.

조선 산업과 IT 기술의 융합을 통하여 선박 건조 시 생산시설과 생산 공정의 효율성을 극대화 시킬 수 있다. 현장에서 요구되는 각종 센싱 데이터 수집장치 기능과 모아진 데이터들을 중앙 서버로 전송하는 LTE 기반 통신장치를 개발하였으며, 통합 모니터링, 상황관리, 항해시험 및 사고방지 등에 적용 가능하다.

IP기반의 패킷망을 통해 음성 데이터를 전송하는 기술인 VoIP 기술은 PSTN 기반의 통신 방식과 달리 음성 데이터 뿐만 아니라 텍스트 데이터, 이미지 데이터, 멀티미디어 데이터 등도 전송할 수 있으므로 서비스 통합화, 비용절감 등의 장점을 가지고 있다. 또한, VoIP 단말기는 인터넷이 연결된 곳에서는 어디든 통신이 가능하므로 모바일 단말기와 유사한 이동성을 제공한다. 따라서, 부정사용자를 방지하기 위한 인증 서비스를 제공하는 것은 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 VoIP 사용 환경에서 사용자 인증의 신뢰를 높이는 서비스 방안을 제안한다.

시각메시지는 커뮤니케이션 성립을 위한 기본적인 구성요소로 송신자(communicator)에서 수신자(communicatee)에게 어떤 경로(channel)를 통하여 전달되는 기호를 말한다. 일반적으로 시각메시지는 이성적이고 추상적 관념을 전달하는 언어적 요소와 감정적이고 구상적으로 표현할 수 있는 비언어적 요소로 나뉘는데, 특히 수용자의 관심이 낮고 집중도가 낮은 특징의 웹사이트에서는 시각적 유도의 요인을 파악하고 시각메시지에 관심을 집중시킬 수 있는 이미지를 필요로 한다. 즉, 웹사이트는 시각적, 감상적 경험을 느끼게 해주는 매체로서 다양한 양식의 디지털 텍스트로 이루어져 있는 융합적 기호체계의 전형이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 디지털 텍스트의 여러 양상 중 홈페이지의 intro page가 텍스트로서 어떻게 수용자에게 의미작용되는지 기호학적 접근을 통해 이미지 구조의 형성과 기호유형을 파악하여 메시지의 기저의미를 분석하는데 있다. 이미지 구조를 알아보기 위해서 Osgood을 중심으로 개발된 의미분별법(Semantic differential method)을 적용하여 메시지에 대한 태도를 알아보고 퍼스의 기호유형을 도입하여 시각적 메시지의 의미를 분석하고자 한다. 의미작용은 다양한 기호들의 결합에 의해 창출되어지는 것이니 만큼 웹사이트가 전달자와 수용자간에 커뮤니케이션되는 기호들의 의미를 기호학적으로 분석하여 의미작용체계를 알아보고, 시각메시지와 기호학의 관계를 밝혀 기호학의 유용성을 알아보는데 의의가 있다.

In these days, mobile application dealing with information contents on mobile or handheld devices such as mobile communicator, PDA or WAP device face the most important industrial needs. The motivation of this study is the design and implementation of mobile application using high resolution satellite imagery, large-sized image data set. Although major advantages of mobile devices are portability and mobility to users, limited system resources such as small-sized memory, slow CPU, low power and small screen size are the main obstacles to developers who should handle a large volume of geo-based 3D model. Related to this, the previous works have been concentrated on GIS-based location awareness services on mobile; however, the mobile 3D terrain model, which aims at this study, with the source data of DEM (Digital Elevation Model) and high resolution satellite imagery is not considered yet, in the other mobile systems. The main functions of 3D graphic processing or pixel pipeline in this prototype are implemented with OpenGL|ES (Embedded System) standard API (Application Programming Interface) released by Khronos group. In the developing stage, experiments to investigate optimal operation environment and good performance are carried out: TIN-based vertex generation with regular elevation data, image tiling, and image-vertex texturing, text processing of Unicode type and ASCII type.

본 논문은 감정노동 종사자 중 항공사 콜센터에 근무하는 상담원을 대상으로 감정노동과 이직의도와의 관계와 그 관계를 조절하는 사회적 지원의 효과를 검증한 것이다. 분석결과 항공사 콜센터 상담원의 감정노동은 이직의도와의 관계에서 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 감정노동과 이직의도와의 관계에서 사회적지원은 부(-)적으로 조절역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 상사와 동료의 지원이 상담원의 감정노동으로 표출되는 이직의도와의 관계를 감소시키는 역할을 한다는 것이다. 이러한 연구결과는 항공사 조직관리 측면에서 상담원의 감정노동 수준을 정확히 파악하여 콜센터 경쟁력에 기여하고 이는 상담원의 이직의도를 낮출 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

본 논문에서는 언어장애인용 문장발생장치의 통신율을 증진시키기 위한 처리방안으로 신경망을 이용하여 문장발생장치에 통사예측을 적용하는 방법을 제안하고 유용성을 확인하였다. 각 단어들은 구문론과 의미론에 따른 정보벡터로 표현되었으며 언어처리는 전통적으로 사전을 포함하는 방법과는 다르게 상태공간에서 다양한 영역으로 분류되어 개념적으로 유사한 단어는 상태공간에서의 위치를 통하여 알게 된다. 사용자가 의미심볼을 누르면 의미심볼에 해당하는 단어는 상태공간에서의 위치를 찾아가며 입력에 따른 동사예측의 중복성을 막기 위하여 신경망을 이용하여 클래스화한 후 동사를 예측하였고 그 결과 제한된 공간 내에서 약 $20\%$ 통신율 증진을 가져올 수 있었다.
