Wireless communication is a core technology constituting the Internet of Things (IoT), but there is no suitable educational equipment to learn various wireless communication technologies used in the Internet of Things through practice. This paper deals with the development of advanced education and training equipment that can perform various IoT wireless communication practices. It uses an Arduino mega board as a device to control various sensors. As wireless network technologies to send and receive the sensing date wirelessly, it makes use of RFID/NFC and Bluetooth among WPAN technologies, WiFi among WLAN technologies and LoRa and 2.4GHz wireless transceiver among WWAN technologies. In addition, GPS, infrared communication, I2C communication, and SPI communication are organized so that various IoT wireless communication technologies can be learned through practice. In addition, since the educational equipment developed in this paper is equipped with two devices, it is designed to perform transmission and reception experiments for wireless network technology within the equipment.

SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) has been proposed for session control protocol of Internet multimedia communication system like VoIP(Voice over IP). SIP has complicated session control steps to support various kinds of audio and video formats and to assure service quality of real time data communication. Up until now, existing protocol analyzers can not provide such detailed information of SIP based communication system. In this paper, therefore, we propose a new protocol analyzer as a tool that can analyze and diagnose SIP based multimedia communication system throughout the session initiation, data exchange and session change steps. The propose traffic analyzer, which is called STAT(SIP based Traffic Analysis Tool), Is implemented on Winder's environment so that it is generally usable and extensible. Since STAT analyze low level packets captured via Ethernet broadcasting property, it is able to provide session status and real time traffic monitoring information without any affection to the communication system. The STAT which is implemented in this paper. therefore, is expected to be a useful tool for developing and managing of a SIP based multimedia communication system.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication(AAC) is the widespread supporting plan to solve the communication problem of the people with communication disorder. AAC means various types of non-verbal communication methods that are used to augment or substitute the communications of using speech. With the increasing number of potential Korean AAC users, the demands for AAC are also increasing. In spite of the increasing demands, AAC is not being actively and practically used. In this paper, we implemented a web-based AAC board making system, where the board-makers (special educators and speech therapists) can create and share the customized boards to help the board-users (people with communication disorder). The web-based AAC board making system contributes to the application of AAC in many societies, such as hospitals, schools, companies, or anywhere the AAC intervention is needed.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze clinical performance examination (CPX) ability using standardized patient (SP) in Korean traditional medical school. Methods: Standardized middle-aged female patients were used for clinical examination of 53 medical students, grade 6. The SP and professors assessed their communication skills and level of medical interviews. Results: 1. There is no statistically significant difference between SP score, communication skill score, medical skill score and inter-test score at the extracurricular activities level. 2. There is no statistically significant difference between SP score, communication skill score, medical skill score and inter-test score at number of medical service. 3. There is no statistically significant difference between SP score, communication skill score, medical skill score and inter-test score at personality type. 4. There is a statistically significant positive correlation between SP score, communication skill score and medical skill score. Conclusions: A variety of educational programs and practices should be conducted to improve the level of medical care and communication of Korean traditional medicine students.

The present study examines various pedagogical functions of conversational repair strategies employed by the teacher in the ESL classroom. As part of interactional resources, conversational repair is defined as the treatment of trouble occurring in interactive language use and is originally designed to deal with communication problems. Research on conversational repair has focused on ordinary conversation and organization of repair practices. Studies on more pedagogical functions of repair sequences initiated by the teacher are very few. The data were from five hours of ESL structure classes in an intensive English institute at a large U.S. university. They were closely transcribed and microanalyzed following the conversation-analytic methodology. The analysis found that ESL teachers' repair techniques not only resolve communication problems but they are also designed to serve several important instructional purposes of teaching the target language. They include creating opportunities of comprehensible input, inducing modified comprehensible output from students, guiding and controlling student output, and initiating corrections by initiating repair.

Foresight, a major methodological tool in the STI policy toolbox, has recently featured new directions in methodological development, becoming influenced by progress in information and communication technologies and online tools. However, no overview of these directions has been available so far. Based on a literature review, an interactive workshop, and an international expert survey as well as expert interviews, the research presented here attempts to shed light onto some of the relevant issues by providing a structured overview of recent changes in order to further the debate on the future directions of methodological development in foresight. The paper outlines four clusters of emerging approaches in foresight:Integrated qualitative and quantitative approaches, IT-based and automated foresight, experiential foresight including new forms of communication and interaction such as visualization and gaming, and open and crowd-sourced approaches. The benefits and challenges of the approaches known so far are categorized and summarized, and areas of potential use for each of the clusters in STI contexts are identified.

This study focused on the validity of Imago couple therapy's contents and the effects of application of the Imago couple therapy model. The participated subjects were 38 graduate students and their spouses. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, the types of couple relations that formed and sustained marital relations after growth could be predicted by the early childhood relationships between the subjects when they were children and their parents. Second, the marital conflicts and frustrations could be healed by the 'parent-child dialogue' and 'guided imagery'. Third, Imago couple therapy was effective for couple counseling to improve the areas of marital relationships, especially marital intimacy, marital communication, communication skills for marital conflicts, mutual respect, gender role, sexual satisfaction, time together, and decision-making. Fourth, Couple's Dialogue was a powerful tool for couple and parent-child relationships as well as general counseling practices.

정보검색 프로토콜 Z39.50은 시스템마다 다른 환경의 차이에서 생긴 정보검색상의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 제시되었다. 본 논문에서는 Z39.50 프로토콜 버전 3의 기능을 지원하는 Z39.50서버를 설계하고 구현한다. 또한 상용검색엔진인 Verity 와 연동하여 하나의 완전한 정보검색 시스템인 Zverity를 구축한다. 구현한 시스템은 버전 2의 기본적인 서비스 외에 검색어를 조회하는 스캔서비스, 대용량의 데이터를 전송하기 위한 분할 서비스, 서버의 구현정보를 제공하는 설명 기능을 지원한다.

The reform movements of current mathematics education have based on several major ideas, in order to provide a new vision of the teaching and loaming of mathematics. Of the ideas, the motto of communication of mathematics appears to be a significant factor to change teaching practices in mathematics classroom. Through Vygotsky's sociocultural theory, the psychological background is presented for both supporting the motto and extracting important suggestions of the reform of mathematics education. The development of higher mental functions is explained by internalization, semiotic mediation, and the zone of proximal development. Above all, emphasis is put on the concepts of scaffolding and inter subjectivity related to the zone of proximal development. Seven implications are proposed by Vygotsky's sociocultural theory for the new forms of the teaching and learning of mathematics.

Purpose: This study analyzes advanced cases of overseas smart cities and examines policy implications related to the creation of smart cities in Korea. Research design, data, and methodology: Analysis standards were established through the analysis of best practices. Analysis criteria include Technology, Privacy, Security, and Governance. Results: In terms of technology, U-City construction experience and communication infrastructure are strengths. Korea's ICT technology is inferior to major countries. On the other hand, mobile communication, IoT, Internet, and public data are at the highest level. The privacy section created six principles: legality, purpose limitation, transparency, safety, control, and accountability. Security issues enable urban crime, disaster and catastrophe prediction and security through the establishment of an integrated platform. Governance issues are handled by the Smart Special Committee, which serves as policy advisory to the central government for legal system, standardization, and external cooperation in the district. Conclusions: Private technology improvement and participation are necessary for privacy and urban security. Citizens should participate in smart city governance.
