As technology evolves, Internet usage continues to grow, resulting in a geometric increase in network traffic and communication volumes. The network path selection process, which is one of the core elements of the Internet, is becoming more complex and advanced as a result, and it is important to effectively manage and analyze it, and there is a need for a representation and visualization method that can be intuitively understood. To this end, this study designs a framework that analyzes network data using BGP, a network path selection method, and applies it to the cyber common operating picture for situational awareness. After that, we analyze the visualization elements required to visualize the information and conduct an experiment to implement a simple visualization. Based on the data collected and preprocessed in the experiment, the visualization screens implemented help commanders or security personnel to effectively understand the network situation and take command and control.

Due to the many advantages including low price, low power consumption, and miniaturization, the CMOS camera has been utilized in many applications, including mobile phones, the automotive industry, medical sciences and sensoring, robotic controls, and research in the security field. In particular, the 360 degree omni-directional camera when utilized in multi-camera applications has displayed issues of software nature, interface communication management, delays, and a complicated image display control. Other issues include energy management problems, and miniaturization of a multi-camera in the hardware field. Traditional CMOS camera systems are comprised of an embedded system that consists of a high-performance MCU enabling a camera to send and receive images and a multi-layer system similar to an individual control system that consists of the camera's high performance Micro Controller Unit. We proposed the SL-AVS (Small Size/Low power Around-View System) to be able to control a camera while collecting image data using a high speed synchronization technique on the foundation of a single layer low performance MCU. It is an initial model of the omni-directional camera that takes images from a 360 view drawing from several CMOS camera utilizing a 110 degree view. We then connected a single MCU with four low-power CMOS cameras and implemented controls that include synchronization, controlling, and transmit/receive functions of individual camera compared with the traditional system. The synchronization of the respective cameras were controlled and then memorized by handling each interrupt through the MCU. We were able to improve the efficiency of data transmission that minimizes re-synchronization amongst a target, the CMOS camera, and the MCU. Further, depending on the choice of users, respective or groups of images divided into 4 domains were then provided with a target. We finally analyzed and compared the performance of the developed camera system including the synchronization and time of data transfer and image data loss, etc.
Background: Connexin 43-mediated gap junctional communication plays an important role in atherosclerosis. Numerous studies have demonstrated a correlation between mitral valve annular calcification and atherosclerotic disease. However, the relevance of connexin 43 to mitral valve disease remains unclear. We hypothesized that the mechanism contributing to mitral valve disease is associated with alterations in cell-to-cell communication mediated by changes in Connexin 43 expression. Material and Method: Twenty male New Zealand rabbits were divided into two groups: animals in group 1 (n=10) were fed a normal chow diet, whilst those in group 2 (n=10) received a diet containing 1% cholesterol for 12 weeks. After sacrificing the animals, the mitral valves were excised and analyzed with immunohistochemical staining and Real-time Reverse Transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (real time RT-PCR). Result: Myofibroblasts and macrophages were found concentrated within the endothelial layer on the ventricular side of the leaflet in the cholesterol diet group. Immunohistochemial staining showed elevated expression of connexin43 in the cholesterol diet group. Real-time RT-PCR revealed increased connexin43 mRNA levels in mitral valves from hypercholesterolemic animals. Conclusion: Our finding that connexin43 expression is increased in mitral valves of hypercholesterolemic rabbits suggests that alterations in cell-to-cell communication via connexin43 containing gap junctions play a role in the development of mitral valve disease in hypercholesterolemia.
The empirical/statistical models to estimate the ground Particulate Matter ($PM_{2.5}$) concentration from Geostationary Ocean Color Imager (GOCI) Aerosol Optical Depth (AOD) product were developed and analyzed for the period of 2015 in Seoul, South Korea. In the model construction of AOD-$PM_{2.5}$, two vertical correction methods using the planetary boundary layer height and the vertical ratio of aerosol, and humidity correction method using the hygroscopic growth factor were applied to respective models. The vertical correction for AOD and humidity correction for $PM_{2.5}$ concentration played an important role in improving accuracy of overall estimation. The multiple linear regression (MLR) models with additional meteorological factors (wind speed, visibility, and air temperature) affecting AOD and $PM_{2.5}$ relationships were constructed for the whole year and each season. As a result, determination coefficients of MLR models were significantly increased, compared to those of empirical models. In this study, we analyzed the seasonal, monthly and diurnal characteristics of AOD-$PM_{2.5}$model. when the MLR model is seasonally constructed, underestimation tendency in high $PM_{2.5}$ cases for the whole year were improved. The monthly and diurnal patterns of observed $PM_{2.5}$ and estimated $PM_{2.5}$ were similar. The results of this study, which estimates surface $PM_{2.5}$ concentration using geostationary satellite AOD, are expected to be applicable to the future GK-2A and GK-2B.

In this paper, complexity and regularity of polynomial multiplication over $GF({2^n})$ are defined by using Hamming weight of rows and columns of the matrix ever GF(2) which represents polynomial multiplication. It is shown experimentally that in order to construct the block cipher robust against differential cryptanalysis, polynomial multiplication of substitution layer and the permutation layer should have high complexity and high regularity. With result of the experiment, a way of constituting S box and G function is suggested in the block cipher whose structure is similar to SEED, which is KOREA standard of 128-bit block cipher. S box can be formed with a nonlinear function and an affine transform. Nonlinear function must be strong with differential attack and linear attack, and it consists of an inverse number over $GF({2^8})$ which has neither a fixed pout, whose input and output are the same except 0 and 1, nor an opposite fixed number, whose output is one`s complement of the input. Affine transform can be constituted so that the input/output correlation can be the lowest and there can be no fixed point or opposite fixed point. G function undergoes linear transform with 4 S-box outputs using the matrix of 4${\times}$4 over $GF({2^8})$. The components in the matrix of linear transformation have high complexity and high regularity. Furthermore, G function can be constituted so that MDS(Maximum Distance Separable) code can be formed, SAC(Strict Avalanche Criterion) can be met, and there can be no weak input where a fixed point an opposite fixed point, and output can be two`s complement of input. The primitive polynomials of nonlinear function affine transform and linear transformation are different each other. The S box and G function suggested in this paper can be used as a constituent of the block cipher with high security, in that they are strong with differential attack and linear attack with no weak input and they are excellent at diffusion.

We have used the silicon-carbide(4H-SiC) instead of conventional silicon materials to develope of the planar junction barrier schottky rectifier for ultra high breakdown voltage(1,200 V grade). The substrate size is 2 inch wafer, Its concentration is $3*10^{18}/cm^{3}$ of $n^{+}-$type, thickness of epitaxial layer $12{\mu}m$ conentration is $5*10^{15}cm^{-3}$ of n-type. The fabticated devices are junction barrier schottky rectifier, The guard ring for improvement of breakdown voltage is designed by the box-like impurity of boron, the width and space of guard ring was designed by variation. The contact metals to rectify were used by the $Ni(3,000\:{\AA})/Au(2,000\:{\AA})$. As a results, the on-state voltage is 1.26 V, on-state resistance is $45m{\Omega}/cm^{3}$, maximum value of improved reverse breakdown voltage is 1180V, reverse leakage current density is $2.26*10^{-5}A/CM^{3}$. We had improved the measureme nt results of the electrical parameters.
A retinal prosthesis is being developed for the restoration of vision in patients with retinitis pigmentosa (RP) and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Determining optimal electrical stimulation parameters for the prosthesis is one of the most important elements for the development of a viable retinal prosthesis. Here, we investigated the effects of different charge-balanced biphasic pulses with regard to their effectiveness in evoking retinal ganglion cell (RGC) responses. Retinal degeneration (rd1) mice were used (n=17). From the ex-vivo retinal preparation, retinal patches were placed ganglion cell layer down onto an $8{\times}8$ multielectrode array (MEA) and RGC responses were recorded while applying electrical stimuli. For asymmetric pulses, 1st phase of the pulse is the same with symmetric pulse but the amplitude of 2nd phase of the pulse is less than $10{\mu}A$ and charge balanced condition is satisfied by lengthening the duration of the pulse. For intensities (or duration) modulation, duration (or amplitude) of the pulse was fixed to $500{\mu}s$($30{\mu}A$), changing the intensities (or duration) from 2 to $60{\mu}A$(60 to $1000{\mu}s$). RGCs were classified as response-positive when PSTH showed multiple (3~4) peaks within 400 ms post stimulus and the number of spikes was at least 30% more than that for the immediate pre-stimulus 400 ms period. RGC responses were well modulated both with anodic and cathodic phase-1st biphasic pulses. Cathodic phase-1st pulses produced significantly better modulation of RGC activity than anodic phase-1st pulses regardless of symmetry of the pulse.

Riverbed Modeler, which is a commercial packet-level discrete event simulator is used to model, design, and simulate complicated communication protocols and large-scale network. Riverbed Modeler got credit for its reliability in field of network simulation. In the MANET simulation environment using Riverbed Modeler, it is very complicated to add a new routing protocol into existing architecture of routing protocols because it is required lots of modifications of protocol recognition. In this paper, we propose Routing Adding Framework which can reduce errors or mistakes during modifying the existing routing support architecture. Routing Adding Framework is provided as a adapter API for protocol recognition. and it is only minimum modifications for protocol identifiers when a new routing protocol is added to the child process of manet_mgr process which manages routing protocols for IP layer. With Routing Adding Framework, we can reduce less than half modification. Then, we shows an example of implementation of a hybrid routing protocol AntHocNet using Routing Adding Framework, and we verify its design and application of the Routing Adding Framework by obtaining simulation result with similar result given by AntHocNet.

We propose a thin frequency selective surface(FSS) superstrate etched on a substrate for dual-band directivity enhancement, and present a design method of the superstrate. In the proposed new design, two FSS arrays with the same periodicity, but with different alignments are placed above and below a thin dielectric layer to overcome the problem of conventional superstrates for dual band directivity enhancements. Based on the unit-cell simulation, several important parameters that characterize the thin FSS superstrate are investigated, and the procedure for designing such a superstrate is described. We compare the resonant frequencies and the qualify factors of the unit cell with those of three FSS antenna composites with different quality factors, and identify the quality factors which support similar directivity enhancement at the dual-band directivity enhancement. It was found that there is an optimum FSS array size of a superstrate to enhance the directivity most efficiently. Measured results for a fabricated superstrate show a good agreement with the simulated ones.

This paper presents an integrated packaging antenna-diplexer module for wireless communication systems in the Cellular and SDMB band. The design and the realization of the proposed one are experimentally analyzed and discussed. It consists of a dual-resonance antenna and a diplexer with a multi-layer LTCC(${\varepsilon}_r=7.8,\;tan\;{\delta}=0.0043$) technology with integration capability and low loss. The dual-resonance antenna of the proposed module has the meander line structure for size reduction and has the shorting structure of an inverted F antenna to achieve good impedance matching. The diplexer of the proposed module was designed with the combination of low pass filter(LPF) and high pass filter(HPF). Decreasing the mutual interference between them provides a high isolation characteristic. The proposed antenna-diplexer module with dimensions of $27.5{\times}12.0{\times}2.2mm$ operates within a range from 813 MHz to 902 MHz for the cellular band and from 2,586 MHz to 2,655 MHz for the SDMB band. And the measured gain of the fabricated module is -1.96 dBi for Cellular band and -5.43 dBi for SDMB band. The parameters for the antenna-diplexer module are investigated and the several performances are discussed.
