The purpose of this study was to construct the Marital Relationship Enhancement Program based on PREP(Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program), and to examine the effect of it for couples in the early marriage stage. To perform this program, six session of time-limited(two hour) were carried out experimental group. and subjects were assigned to experimental group(N=6 couples) and control group(N=6 couples). Scales of PREPARE II (PREmarital Personal And Relationship Evaluation), Couple Communication Scales and Commitment Scales were used as pre-post-follow instruments of this study. Major finding were as follows : 1. Marital Relationship Enhancement Program for couples in the early marriage stage has meaningful consequences for the improvement of participants' couple relationship. 2. Marital Relationship Enhancement Program had meaningful consequence for the improvement of participants' realistic expectation of marriage, communication and conflict resolution skills and leisure activities. These positive effects maintained at follow-up. However, it hadn't meaningful consequence for the improvement of participants' marital commitment. 3. Marital Relationship Enhancement Program had also meaningful consequence for the improvement of the wives' realistic expectation of marriage, communication and conflict resolution skills and leisure activities, of the husbands' communication and conflict resolution skills.

The goal of this study is to develop a program which can improve couples' communication skills that serve to enhance their relationships and to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. The summary of major result of the research were as follows; 1 The content of communication program for couples in the early marriage focused on improvement of communication skills, on enhancement of couples' intimacy and on coping ability for marriage life. 2. The developed program served to communication improvement for couples in the early marriage. Analyzing specifically the results of test before and after, the average scores of sub-areas such as listening, speaking and solving problems were all increased after the program than before the program. Significant differences of sub-areas appeared, either. 3. The developed program contributed to enhancement of couples' mutual understanding and their relationships.

This paper proposed a versatile algorithm based on a dual-tree complex wavelet transform for intensifying the visual aspect of medical images. First, the decomposition of the input image into a high sub-band and low-sub-band image is done. Further, to improve the resolution of the resulting image, the high sub-band image is interpolated using Lanczos interpolation. Also, contrast enhancement is performed by singular value decomposition (SVD). Finally, the image reconstruction is achieved by using an inverse wavelet transform. Then, the Gaussian filter will improve the visual quality of the image. We have collected images from the hospital and the internet for quantitative and qualitative analysis. These images act as a reference image for comparing the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm with the existing state-of-the-art. We have divided the proposed algorithm into several stages: preprocessing, contrast enhancement, resolution enhancement, and visual quality enhancement. Both analyses show the proposed algorithm's effectiveness compared to existing methods.

Together with the GPS-based approach, geo-location through mobile communication networks is a key technology for location-based service. To save the cost, most geo-location system is implemented on the existed network service, which has a cellular structure. Still, multilateration is limited in cellular structure because it is difficult for the mobile terminal to acquire distance measurements from multiple base stations. This low hearability in the receiver is caused by co-channel interference and multipath environment. Therefore, hearability enhancement is necessary for multilateration under multipath and interference environment. Former time domain based hearability methods were designed for real signals. However, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal, which its usage has been increased in digital wireless communication, is a complex signal. Thus, different hearability enhancement method is needed for OFDM signals. This paper proposes a hearability enhancement method for forward-link multilateration using OFDM signals, which employ interference cancellation and multipath mitigation. A novel interference cancellation and multipath mitigation strategy for complex-valued OFDM signals is presented that has an iterative structure. Simulation results show that the proposed multilateration method provides the user's position with an accuracy of less than 80m through the mobile WiMAX cellular network in multipath environment.

본 연구에서는 한국 성인의 가치와 의사소통 방식 간의 관계에서 연령과 성별의 조절효과를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 전국의 성인 남녀 500명에게 문화보편적 가치(변화에 대한 개방성, 자기고양, 보수주의, 자기초월), 문화특수적 가치(집단주의, 규범에 대한 동조, 정서적 자기통제, 성취를 통한 가족의 인정, 겸손), 고-맥락 의사소통 방식, 그리고 저-맥락 의사소통 방식을 측정하는 설문에 응답하도록 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의사소통 방식에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색해 본 결과, 자기고양, 정서적 자기통제, 자기초월은 고-맥락 의사소통 방식을 유의하게 예측하였으며, 변화에 대한 개방성, 자기고양, 규범에 대한 동조, 정서적 자기통제, 성별은 저-맥락 의사소통 방식을 유의하게 예측하였다. 둘째, 자기고양과 고-맥락 의사소통 방식 간의 관계를 연령이 조절하였다. 자기고양이 높고 연령이 낮은 경우 고-맥락 의사소통 방식이 현저하게 높아졌다. 셋째, 규범에 대한 동조와 고-맥락 의사소통 방식 간의 관계를 연령과 성별이 조절하였다. 규범에 대한 동조가 높고 연령이 낮은 남성의 경우 고-맥락 의사소통 방식이 현저하게 높아졌다. 넷째, 집단주의와 저-맥락 의사소통 방식 간의 관계를 성별이 조절하였다. 집단주의가 높아질수록 남성은 저-맥락 의사소통 방식이 높아지는 경향이 있었던 반면, 여성은 저-맥락 의사소통 방식이 낮아지는 경향이 있었다. 다섯째, 겸손과 저-맥락 의사소통 방식 간의 관계를 성별이 조절하였다. 겸손이 높은 여성의 경우 저-맥락 의사소통 방식이 현저하게 낮아졌다. 본 연구 결과의 함의 및 제한점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the role of supplier relationships as a means of enhancement of quality. The model for this study consists of four groups of concepts - 1) goal of quality, as 2) measures of supplier relationships, supplier assistance and buyer supplier communication, 3) the level of automation and technology, as 4) measures of performance, reliability quality and performance quality. By statistical analysis, the results are as follows. First, the goal of quality positively influences the level of automation, technology, supplier assistance and supplier communication. Second, the level of technology has a positive effect on supplier assistance and supplier communication on the level of automation. Third, the level of automation and technology positively influence the reliability quality. Fourth, supplier assistance and buyer-supplier communication has a positive effect on the reliability and performance quality. These results reveal three paths of supplier relationships in systems for the enhancement of quality.

이 연구의 목적은 노인의 SNS 활동을 통한 소통증진 프로그램을 평가하려는 것이다. 이 프로그램은 소통교육, SNS 활동가 만남, SNS 교육과 실습, SNS 활동과 홍보, 시연회, SNS 활동가 발대식, 오프라인 모임 등으로 구성되어 있다. 프로그램 참여자들로부터 다양한 자료를 수집하였고, 과정과 성과 측면에서 평가하였다. 프로그램에 대한 양적 질적 분석을 실시한 결과, SNS 활용을 통한 사회참여의 기회 확대, SNS 활성화를 통한 소통증진, 노인복지의 새로운 대안문화 창출, 세대 간의 긍정적인 인식변화 등 본 프로그램이 다양한 측면에서 긍정적인효과를 가지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거하여 노인들의 SNS 활동을통한 소통증진 프로그램을 개선하기 위한 실천 지침들을 제언하였다.

음성 인식을 위한 전처리기로 주변 잡음을 제거해 주는 음성향상 기법이 강조되고 있다. 다양한 음성향상 기법들 중 코드북 기반 음성향상 기법은 nonstationary 잡음 환경에서도 효율적으로 동작한다. 하지만, 기존 코드북 기반 음성향상 기법에서는 입력 신호와 음성 및 잡음 코드벡터 간에 미스매치가 발생하여 부정확한 게인이 추정되는 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 부정확한 게인을 보상하기 위해 long-term 잡음 추정 알고리즘을 사용하여 매 프레임 별로 신호 대 잡음비기반의 Normalized Weighting Factor (NWF)를 구하고, 이것을 기존 게인에 보상하는 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 코드북 기반 음성향상 기법은 기존 코드북 기반 음성향상 기법에 비해 향상된 성능을 보였다.

Due to the self-diffusion of nuclear spins, the edge of phantoms is enhanced in the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), especially in the case of microscopy [1]. According to several published works, theory has been established that the edge enhancement is caused by the motion narrowing around bounded regions due to diffusions of nuclear spins during data acquisition. It is found, however, that the signal decreases due to the diffusion attenuation and image is distorted as edge of the image is sharpened. In this paper, we wilt investigate this signal loss during data acquisition and its effects on image, i.e., image edge enhancement due to the diffusion phenomenon. This result is new and different from the previously discussed edge enhancement due to the diffusion, namely, by motion narrowing effect or spin bouncing effect at the boundary.

This paper proposes an image enhancement-based license plate detection algorithm to improve the overall performance of system. Non-uniform illumination conditions have huge impact on overall plate detection system accuracy. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for color image enhancement-based license plate detection for improving accuracy of images degraded by excessively strong and low sunlight. Firstly, the image is enhanced by Multi-Scale Retinex algorithm. Secondly, a plate detection method is employed to take advantage of geometric properties of connected components, which can significantly reduce the undesired plate regions. Finally, intersection over union method is applied for detecting the accurate location of number plate. Experimental results show that the proposed method significantly improves the accuracy of plate detection system.
