This study aims to describe actual condition of residents' involvement of Sk$\"{a}$rk$\"{a}$ll ecovillage in Sweden by in-depth interviews with five residents. This study, hopefully, could contribute to offer useful information for forming ecovillage, as well as awakening about ecovillage movement to the public in Korea. The interviews were fulfilled during spring of 2010 in G$\"{o}$teborg and Sk$\"{a}$rk$\"{a}$ll ecovillage in Sweden. The results are as follows: 1) In terms of overall residents' involvement by self-evaluation everybody agrees with that residents' involvement was quite excellent during forming stage of the village, while it has been notably decreased now in running stage. It reveals there is a gap between ideology and reality. 2) Concerning decision making method, they use majority decision instead of consensus, since only 9 households of 20 are residing there all year around, it is hardly possible to assemble all the residents in the meeting. In Accordance with problematic conflicts in the village recently, development of socialization with others and education of communication skill for residents probably could be helpful to resolve conflicts among residents in long term. 3) In terms of evaluation of ecovillage movement in Sk$\"{a}$rk$\"{a}$ll ecovillage, it is the fact that many residents live less self-sufficiently, more energy consumed than the ideology pursuits. Also, they live with close connections with conventional society. Nevertheless, the efforts they are willing to practice 3R principles (Recycle, Reuse, Reduction) have to be highly respected, if we consider its educational influence to environmental movement for the conventional society.

본 논문에서는 UWB 기술 기반 WiMedia Distributed Medium Access Control (D-MAC) 프로토콜에서, 디바이스들의 이동성으로 인해 발생하는 Distributed Reservation Protocol (DRP) 예약 충돌 현상을 분석한다. 그리고 DRP 예약 충돌 시 발생하는 성능 저하를 감소시키기 위해 Conflict Resolution (CR) 방식과 DRP 릴레이 기술을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 DRP 릴레이 프로토콜은 충돌대상 디바이스에게 예약된 자원을 유지할 수 있도록, DRP 예약 충돌 시 릴레이 노드를 경유하여 다른 Indirect Link 링크를 빠르게 예약할 수 있는 분산적인 자원 예약 프로토콜을 제안한다. 이동성 환경을 고려한 시뮬레이션 결과는 CR 기술과 함께 DRP 릴레이 기술을 적용하여, 디바이스들의 이동성이 증가하더라도 수율 감소를 방지할 수 있음을 나타내었다.

The 'discovery' or 'conquest' of the New World in 1492 was the starting point of world history that irrevocably changed the fate of the Latin American continent. The global stream known as 'Columbian Exchange', which was the widespread inter-continental contacts, inter-civilizational conflicts, or bilateral communication, has rendered multifarious effects throughout many historical periods up to the very contemporary time. The propagation of Catholicism initiated along with this 'discovery' transformed Latin America of nowadays in the region that has the biggest Catholic population in the world. The previous studies in Korea regarding Latin American Catholicism has focused on the spread of Catholicism in relation to the European colonization, rather than analyzing the concrete and detailed ways in which Catholicism exerted tremendous influences in the whole continent. They were less attentive to various historical contexts in which the diffusion of Catholicism differed greatly according to cultural landscapes and political specificities. Thus, this essay attempts to examine the diffusion of Catholicism from the perspective of confrontation between royal authorities and the power of church. The essay points out that the royal communities and institutional authorities which facilitated the intial process of Catholic evangelization maintained antagonistic relationship with ecclesial powers. By delving into the gradual transformation of church systems, it reveals that Catholicism in Latin America became a major field for conquerors in power to attain economic and political dominance. And unlike the initial submission and hospitality, the religious convert of the indigenous people attested to the violent inhumanity and opposition. Therefore, the essay aims to pave a clearer way to the understanding of complicated dynamics and conflicts between Catholicism in Latin America and the establishment of Spanish colonization.

최근 정보통신기술의 발전으로 통신망을 통하여 소통하는 정보가 증가하고 있으며, 이를 보호하기 위한 기반기술로 암호가 널리 활용되고 있다. 한편, 초창기 암호기술은 군사적 활용을 목적으로 개발되어 국가가 조정·통제하였으나, 정보통신기술의 향상에 따라 민간으로 상당 부분 이전되어 발전되고 있다. 이로 인해, 세계 각 국에서는 민간영역의 암호이용 자유화에 대한 요구와 국가차원의 암호 활용 권한 우위를 두고 마찰이 발생하여 왔다. 본 논문에서는 각 국의 암호 정책 수립과정에서 나타난 국가와 민간의 갈등을 살펴보고 국내의 암호정책 현실을 알아보았다. 이를 바탕으로 균형 있는 암호정책의 적용과 암호산업 발전을 도모하며, 국가의 암호접근 권한을 확보하기 위하여 국가 암호해독 전문기관 설립 필요성과 암호 부정사용에 대한 법적 제재 방안의 입법 필요성을 제시한다.

It is not an exaggeration to say that our society is already one of disputes. Since circa 2010, the average number of lawsuits filed every year is upwards of six million cases, and resolving disputes through trials is already fully saturated. The functional roles of the court reflect that there are many lacking areas such as systems, tools, and procedures related to social integration. In addition, ADR, which is carried out in advanced capitalist nations to supplement the judicial functions, has also been implemented in our society for the past 60 years. However, for the reason why the usage rate of ADR did not increase for legal consumers, we cannot overlook government activities that did not make sufficient promotions related to the lack of awareness. In Korea, ADR is mainly composed of government-initiated types, and in particular, there is no ADR framework act that can play an integrated role. Furthermore, for the conciliation system of the court, over 80%of conciliation are conducted focusing on court of lawsuits, and legal basis and procedures between institutes are different for administrative ADR, and communication does not go smoothly, thus making it inefficient. Such examples cannot avoid being a background for criticism when considering the fundamental ideologies and beliefs of ADR. The Vinaya Pitaka of sangha related to ADR is a separate method for operating communities. This is the BDR (Buddhist Dispute Resolution) method that encompasses personal ethics, organizational ethics, harmony through various community gatherings, and adhikaranasamatha on the four issues that could occur in legal review procedures. This has become the sufficient background for succession and development for parisa sangha and gana sangha among individuals.

This study deals with a counseling case in which a mother requested counseling due to the problems of her daughter, who suffers from multiple tic disorder. The participants of this study included five family members (grandmother, father, mother and two female children) and a total of 23 sessions were held from September 2006 to December 2007. Additional counseling ($24^{th}$ counseling session) was conducted on April 1st, 2009. The data was based on recorded transcripts and notes from 24 family therapy sessions. The study used a constant comparative analysis, which uses matrix and network display as an analysis method suggested by Miles&Huberman(1994). The characteristics of the family of origin and the indifference of the husband had caused the wife stress. The couple had frequent conflicts due to dysfunctional communication methods, a clash of values, sexual dissatisfaction, and a lack of communication. This marital conflict became the primary factor of the daughter's multiple tic disorder. Intervention of the family therapist resulted in the setting of treatment goals based on MRI's communication theory and Bowen's family systems theory in order to solve the problem of the daughter's multiple tic disorder. Also, the therapist's intervention techniques included exploring experiences with the family of origin, shedding light on the multigenerational transmission process, exploring dysfunctional attempts at solutions, the therapist's self-disclosure, providing similar cases, dealing with resistance, and suggesting a new communication method. To solve the problem, the therapist helped the family separate the daughter spatially from her parents. Therefore, the therapist's intervention helped reduce the daughter's tics and improve relationships among the family.

이 논문은 2004년에 있었던 황우석 박사의 배아줄기 세포 연구를 둘러싼 윤리 논쟁을 통해 우리 사회가 윤리를 처방하는 방식, 즉 윤리 커뮤니케이션 과정을 분석한다. 배아줄기세포 논쟁은 난자나 배아와 같은 생명과 직결된 민감한 주제를 포함하고 있으며, 특히 황우석의 연구가 <사이언스>에 발표된 직후 우리 사회가 일종의 집단 흥분사태에 빠져들면서 논쟁이 진행되었다는 점에서 많은 것을 시사해준다. 이 사건은 과학윤리가 우리 사회에서 다루어지는 방식을 매우 역동적으로 보여준다. 여기에는 숱한 집단들의 갈망, 이해관계, 갈등 등이 포함되며 배제와 포섭의 복합적인 역관계가 개입한다. 이 논문은 배아복제를 둘러싼 논쟁을 윤리의 정의의 주도권을 둘러싼 경합 과정으로 분석한다, 이 분석에는 애국주의적 담론과 수사(修辭)의 생산, 그리고 수사들 사이에서 벌어지는 기입의 경쟁 등이 포함된다. 그리고 황우석이라는 스타 과학자 만들기는 이러한 윤리 커뮤니케이션에서 중요한 역할을 했다. 결국 배아줄기세포 연구를 통해 이루어진 윤리 커뮤니케이션은 애국주의와 결합된 스타 과학자 만들기의 무대에서 주변화되었고 반과학이라는 낙인이 찍혔다. 그리고 과학윤리의 주도권은 시민사회가 아닌 연구자와 국가가 장악했다. 이 연구의 주된 주장은 윤리가 고정된 것이 아니며 그 처방 방식을 둘러싼 경합을 통해 구성되며, 그를 위해 다양한 수사가 동원된다는 것이다.

본 연구는 SNS(Social Network Service), 인터넷 등 '디지털뉴미디어 혁명'으로 위기에 처한 신문기업이 회생하기 위하여 '자본과 권력으로부터 독립하여 정론적 논조를 견지해야 한다'는 저널리즘의 정체성을 훼손하지 않고 수행할 수 있는 수익사업 분야로는 어떤 것이 바람직한가를 알아보았다. 이를 위하여 현직 신문사 간부기자들을 대상으로 한 심층인터뷰를 통하여 신문사 경영위기에 대한 인식, 광고수주와 신문판매와 같은 전통적 신문산업 비즈니스모델을 제외한 여타 수익사업에 대한 필요성, 수익사업 수행 시 저널리즘 정체성과의 충돌 가능성, 바람직한 수익사업 분야 등에 대하여 조사하였다. 그 결과 기자들은 신문기업들이 소셜미디어(Social Media)의 급속한 팽창 등 디지털뉴미디어 혁명에 대처하는 경영전략이 부재하며 이에 따라 광고수주와 신문판매 이외의 새로운 패러다임으로 사업을 개발해야 한다고 인식하고 있었다. 그러나 이 같은 수익사업에 무분별하게 뛰어들기보다는 공익(public interest)적이면서도 경영적 이익을 보장할 수 있는 사업이 바람직하다는 반응을 보였다. 이 같은 사업에 대하여 기자들은 인터넷, 방송, 공연, 전시, 교육, 출판, 영화, 음악, 게임, 등 뉴미디어 정보문화사업 분야를 꼽았다.

최근 실시간 스트리밍 서비스가 MZ 세대의 각광을 받고 있으며 시장 규모 또한 지속적으로 커지고 있다. 사전에 촬영된 영상, 편집된 동영상은 단방향적 커뮤니케이션의 모습만 보여주지만 이와 달리 양방향 통신인 실시간 스트리밍 서비스는 사용자의 질문이나 요구에 즉각적으로 대응할 수 있다는 데에 강점이 있다. 또한 COVID-19 팬데믹으로 인해 대면 문화에서 비대면 문화로 전환됨에 따라 수업, 회의, 기타 여가 활동 등을 실시간 영상으로 소통하는 이용자가 폭발적으로 증가하였다. 하지만 실시간 스트리밍 서비스가 활성화되며 다양한 세대가 참여함에 따라 신조어를 포함하여 서로 간의 언어 차이에 의한 갈등 상황이 생기는 문제점이 발생하였다. 이를 해결할 방안으로 본 논문에서는 위키피디아 API 를 활용하여 신조어의 뜻을 수집 후 출력하여 서로에게 확인시켜주는 방법을 통해 서로에게 의도를 파악하는 방법을 고안하였다.

In this paper, we examine the roles, mutual relationships, and guidelines for a healthy life as exemplified by the characters Santiago and Manolin in Ernest Hemingway's novel "The Old Man and the Sea" and use this content to compare the happy home life of elderly couples in Korea. Through a metaphorical exploration of the lives of elderly husbands and wives in Korean society, the study examines their significance as the core of the family, particularly during their senior years. Ernest Hemingway's "The Old Man and the Sea" portrays Santiago as a unique embodiment of virtue and humanity. As an elderly male fisherman, he symbolizes a profound connection with the sea, as well as qualities such as courage, patience, and unwavering passion. His story underscores the importance of pursuing new goals and maintaining hope even in old age. The relationship between Santiago and Manolin provides insights into the dynamics of elderly husbands and wives in their domestic lives. Manolin's unwavering support for Santiago and his understanding of Santiago's dreams exemplify the significance of mutual support and the establishment of common goals for elderly couples. These characters serve as exemplary models for understanding and supporting one another within a family setting. Within the context of family life, applying these exemplary models and relationship dynamics fosters mutual respect, collaboration, emotional expression, and effective communication. Supporting each other and working towards common goals can enhance the family atmosphere, resolve conflicts, and enrich domestic life. Furthermore, when elderly couples share common goals and enjoy activities together, they strengthen their bond and create a more fulfilling family life. These shared activities deepen the affection between elderly husbands and wives and contribute to a thriving household. Through the characters of Santiago and Manolin in "The Old Man and the Sea," we present in this study a deeper understanding of the values and roles within the domestic lives and affection of elderly husbands and wives. Mutual respect, collaboration, emotional expression, communication, mutual support, common goals, hope, and shared domestic activities all play pivotal roles in maintaining a healthy family life and establishing happiness and well-being within the family. We expect this study to offer valuable insights into the fields of family studies, elderly welfare, and sociology.
