SBAR 프로그램이 암 병동 간호사의 의사소통명확성, 임상수행능력과 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of SBAR Program on Communication Clarity, Clinical Competence and Self-efficacy for Nurses in Cancer Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendations(SBAR) program and to test the effects of the program on communication clarity, clinical competence, and self-efficacy for clinical nurses in cancer hospitals. Methods: This study applied a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design. There were 28 participants in the intervention group and 27 in the control group. SBAR program consisted of 4 parts and applied for 6 weeks in the intervention group. Data were analyzed with ${\chi}^2$ test, Fisher's exact test, t-test and ANCOVA using the SPSS program. Results: Communication clarity, clinical competence and self efficacy were significantly increased in the intervention group compared to those in the control group. Conclusion: These results suggest that SBAR program may improve communication clarity, clinical competence and self-efficacy for clinical nurses in cancer hospitals. Therefore, it is required to actively take advantage of this program to improve communication clarity among medical staffs, clinical competence, and self-efficacy in clinical nursing practices.

Effects of Simulation-based Education on Communication Skill and Clinical Competence in Maternity Nursing Practicum

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effects of simulation-based education on communication skill and clinical competence in maternity nursing practicum. Methods: This study used a non-equivalent control pretest-posttest design. The simulation-based education in maternity nursing practicum consisted of two clinical situation scenarios pertaining to patients with normal and high-risk deliveries. The control group consisted of 35 students in 2010 and the experimental group consisted of 35 students in 2009. The experimental group was given the simulation-based education using a high-fidelity patient simulator over 3 sessions, whereas the control group was given a conventional pre-clinical practice orientation before maternity nursing clinical practicum. Data were collected using a questionnaire, which included questions to assess communication skill and clinical competence. Data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: Members of the experimental group, who received the simulation-based education, showed significantly higher communication skill and clinical competence scores than the control group (t=-2.39, p = .020; t=-2.71, p = .009). Conclusion: The simulation-based education in maternity nursing practicum is effective in promoting communication skill and clinical competence. With application of diverse clinical situation scenarios, it is recommended to develop and apply simulation-based education using a high-fidelity simulator in the area of maternity nursing.

간호사의 이직의도, 감정노동, 의사소통능력 간의 관계 (Effects of Emotional Labor and Communication Competence on Turnover Intention in Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among turnover intention, emotional labor, and communication competence in nurses. Methods: The participants for this study were 297 nurses from three general hospitals in two local cites in Korea. Data were collected by self-administered questionnaires from August 26 to September 10, 2013 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson Correlation, Stepwise Multiple Regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The average scores for turnover intention, emotional labor, and communication competence respectively, were 3.45, 3.08, and 3.44 out of 5. The novices recognized that their emotional labor and turnover intention were significantly higher, and their communication competence was lower than other nurses. Nurses' turnover intention had a positive relationship with their emotional labor, but no relationship with communication competence. Job satisfaction, frequency of emotional expression, and emotional dissonance had an effect on nurses' turnover intention. Conclusion: The results show that emotional labor and job satisfaction are very important factors affecting nurses' turnover intention. So, nurse managers should try to minimize nurses' emotional labor and maximize their job satisfaction by developing various human relationship educational and support programs and using them.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between maternal education level, social support, attribution, mother-child communication and children's social competence. The major findings of this study were as follows; (1) The higher maternal education level and the higher internal attribution were, the more negative mother-child communication was. (2) The higher maternal education level is, the higher perceived social support is, and the more open-mined/positive mother-child communication is, the higher children's initiative, competence and sociability. Also, the more mother attribute children's behavior internally, the lower the children's competence is.

대학생의 도형심리 유형, 긍정심리자본, 의사소통능력 간의 경로분석 (Path Analysis of Geometric Psychology type, Positive Psychological Capital, and Communication Competence for University Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학생들의 의사소통능력을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초연구로서 도형심리유형과 의사소통능력과의 관계에서 긍정심리자본이 매개할 수 있는지 확인해보는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국의 대학생들 321명을 대상으로 설문조사하였으며 척도의 신뢰도분석, 회귀분석, 경로분석으로 자료를 분석하였다. 회귀분석을 통해 도형심리유형, 긍정심리자본, 의사소통능력의 변수들이 서로 긍정적인 회귀결과로 나타났다. 경로분석을 통해 도형심리 유형과 의사소통능력과의 관계에서 긍정심리자본이 매개역할을 하는 것을 확인하였으며 그 결과는 도형심리의 각 유형에 따라 다른 양상을 보였다. 동그라미 유형은 의사소통능력에 대하여 긍정심리자본의 하위인 복원력을 매개하거나 직접적으로 영향을 미치고 있으며 세모 유형은 의사소통능력에 대하여 긍정심리자본의 하위요인인 자기효능감과 복원력을 매개해 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 네모 유형은 의사소통능력에 대하여 긍정심리자본의 하위요인인 자기효능감을 매개하거나 직접적으로 영향을 미치고 있으며 에스 유형은 의사소통능력에 대하여 긍정심리자본을 매개하지 않고 직접적으로만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대학생들을 위한 의사소통향상프로그램을 개발하기 위해서는 위와 같은 결과를 고려하여 도형심리유형별로 긍정심리자본이 적용된 프로그램을 개발할 수 있을 것이다.

글로벌 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션 역량 배양을 위한 교육내용 개발에 대한 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Selection of Educational Contents for Cultivating Global Business Communication Competence)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 글로벌 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션 역량 배양을 위한 교육과정을 개발할 때 교육내용 선정을 위한 기초자료를 제공함을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 우선적으로 글로벌 역량의 하위요소에 대한 기존 연구를 검토하여 하위 역량요소를 수정, 보완하여 글로벌 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션 역량의 하위요소를 선정하였다. 선정된 글로벌 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션 역량의 하위요소의 중요도에 대해 20개 기업체 근무자 148명을 대상으로 인식 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 언어 능력인 영어 이메일 작성, 영어 자료 및 문서 읽고 이해, 전화영어, 비즈니스 영어회화, 사회언어적 능력인 타문화에 대한 이해, 전략적 능력인 커뮤니케이션 스킬, 글로벌 비즈니스 이해 능력인 비즈니스 지식이 비교적 높은 중요도를 보였다. 따라서 글로벌 비즈니스 커뮤니케이션 역량 배양을 위한 교육내용을 선정할 때 우선적으로 이들 요소를 포함시키는 것이 바람직하다는 결론을 내렸다.

사티어모델 기반 의사소통 교육프로그램이 공공병원 간호사의 의사소통 능력, 정서지능, 우울 및 행복에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Satir's model Based Communication Education on Communication Competence, Emotional Intelligence and Depression-happiness of Regional Public Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the effects of Satir's model based communication education on communication competence, emotional intelligence and depression-happiness in regional public hospital nurses. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design was used. The subjects were 36 nurses of the experimental group and 36 nurses of the control group. Satir's model based communication education was conducted for two days and the dependent variables were measured using the global interpersonal communication competence scale (GICC), emotional intelligence scale and short depression-happiness scale (SDHS). Data were analyzed by the Chi-squared test, Fisher's exact test and ANCOVA using SPSS 21.0. Results: Communication competence (F=12.7, p<.001) was significantly increased in the experimental group, as was emotional intelligence (F=6.67, p=.01). Conclusion: The results of the study suggest that Satir's model based communication education is an effective method to increase public hospital nurses' communication competence and emotional intelligence.

유학생 참여 기반 다문화 교육 프로그램이 간호대학 신입생의 문화 간 의사소통 능력과 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a multicultural education program based on international students' participation on intercultural communication competence and nursing professionalism)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop a multicultural education program that includes contact with persons from multiple cultures and to report on the program's effects on intercultural communication competence and nursing professionalism. Methods: A multicultural education program that included contact with persons from multiple cultures was developed, and a quasi-experimental study was performed using a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The experimental group comprised 32 participants, and the control group comprised 26 participants. An online survey was conducted before and immediately after the intervention to collect data. Results: The experimental and control groups' mean scores for intercultural communication competence before the intervention were 3.67 and 3.84, respectively, while their mean scores for nursing professionalism were 3.87 and 3.69, respectively. After the intervention, both the intercultural communication competence score and the nursing professionalism score improved to 4.02 in the experimental group. The study demonstrated significant improvement in intercultural communication competence and nursing professionalism after the multicultural education program was conducted. Conclusion: The study's results demonstrate the need to develop a multicultural education program including contact and communication with persons from multiple cultures, such as international students, women who immigrated for marriage, immigrant workers, and multicultural families.

간호대학생의 감성지능과 자아존중감의 관계에서 의사소통능력의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Communication Competence on the Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Self-Esteem among Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 의사소통능력이 감성지능과 자아존중감의 관계에서 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 M시의 일개 간호대학 재학생을 대상으로 편의 표집 하였으며, 구조화된 자가 보고식 설문지를 이용하여 최종 173명의 자료를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, Independent t-test, ANOVA, 피어슨 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고, 매개효과의 유의성 검증을 위해 sobel test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 다중회귀분석의 결과 간호대학생의 의사소통능력은 자아존중감에 유의한 양의 영향력이 있으며, 감성지능과 자아존중감 관계에서 부분적 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 간호대학생의 의사소통능력이 자아존중감 증진에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 간호대학생의 자아존중감 증진을 위해 의사소통능력 향상의 중요성과 의사소통능력을 균형적으로 강화시키기 위한 다양한 융복합적 교육 전략의 개발과 중재의 필요성을 제시하였다.

The Formation of Managerial Competence of the Future Head of Preschool Education by Means of Information and Communication Technologies

  • The article deals with the formation of managerial competence of the future head of preschool education institution by means of information and communication technology as a prerequisite for his ability to act competently and objectively evaluate actions and understand the interaction of forms and content of preschool education. The article aimed to study the effectiveness of information and communication technologies in the formation of managerial competence of the future head of preschool education institution. To achieve the objectives, the methods of comparative and systematic analysis were used to compare different views on the problem under study, namely, the formation of managerial competence of the future head of preschool education institution by means of information and communication technologies. The authors of the article determined that the use of information and communication technologies in the preparation of future heads of preschool educational institutions is of great importance and is an indicator in the structure of managerial competence. The priority directions of the use of various software products for the study of the modern Ukrainian language, methods of teaching the Ukrainian language contribute to the intensification of learning material. It is noted that the current state of development of information technologies and their widespread use in education satisfies the requirements of the objectivity of the assessment obtained the quality of the control process of forming the managerial competence of the future leader in the context of the general problems of pre-school education. It is noted that the means of information and communication technologies play a leading role in creating new educational policies and projects, as they motivate the way of access to knowledge.
