A Neoteric Three-Dimensional Geometry-Based Stochastic Model for Massive MIMO Fading Channels in Subway Tunnels

  • Wireless mobile communication systems in subway tunnels have been widely researched these years, due to increased demand for the communication applications. As a result, an accurate model is essential to effectively evaluate the communication system performance. Thus, a neoteric three-dimensional (3D) geometry-based stochastic model (GBSM) is proposed for the massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) fading channels in tunnel environment. Furthermore, the statistical properties of the channel such as space-time correlation, amplitude and phase probability density are analyzed and compared with those of the traditional two-dimensional (2D) model by numerical simulations. Finally, the ergodic capacity is investigated based on the proposed model. Numerical results show that the proposed model can describe the channel in tunnels more practically.

원자력 관련 정책 커뮤니케이션에 관한 상호인식 연구: 일반 국민과 원전 직원 간의 상호지향성 분석 (Mutual Perceptions between Nuclear Plant Employees and General Public on Nuclear Policy Communication Applying the Co-orientation Analysis Model)

  • This study examines mutual perceptions between general public and nuclear plant employees on understanding nuclear policy communication applying the co-orientation model. The total of 414 responses were analyzed including 211 of the general public and 203 of plant employees. Results indicate that agreement between general public and plant employees is relatively high, in that general public tends to have negative evaluation to nuclear policy communication, but plant employees tends to have positive one. In terms of congruence, general public perceive that plant employees might have more positive evaluation than themselves, and nuclear plant employees perceive that general public might have more negative evaluation than themselves. Finally, in terms of accuracy, general public accurately estimate how nuclear plant employees perceive on policy communication, whereas nuclear plant employees unaccurately estimate how general public perceive on policy communication.

  • Grid technologies make it possible for IT resources to be shared across organizational and security domains. The traditional identity-based access control mechanisms are unscalable and difficult to manage. Thus, we propose the FAS (Federation Agent Server) model which is composed of three modules: Certificate Conversion Module (CCM), Role Decision Module (RDM), and Authorization Decision Module (ADM). The proposed FAS model is an extended Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) model which provides resource access capabilities based on roles assigned to the users. FAS can solve the problem of assigning multiple identities to a shared local name in grid-map file and mapping the remote entity's identity to a local name manually.

  • 소셜러닝의 대표적 학습인 협력학습에서의 에이전트란 학습자에게 현황이든, 환경이든, 과제이든 설명해 줄 수 있거나, 보편적이고 일반적인 방법으로 독립적인 기능을 수행할 수 있는 것이다, 이를 위해서는 에이전트 사이에서의 의사소통에 관한 정보기술 표준화 방법이 요구된다. 본 연구는 협력학습에서 사용되는 각종 에이전트들의 의사소통에 관한 데이터 모델에 관한 기술을 제시한다. 따라서 이러닝 협력학습 환경을 지원하는 많은 에이전트들의 유형을 파악하고, 이 에이전트들 간의 상호 의사소통에 관한 규칙을 갖는 데이터 모델을 설계하여 그 요소들을 정의하고자 한다. 이렇게 제시된 표준화된 데이터 모델을 기반으로 하는 다중 에이전트 시스템은 여러 응용 에이전트가 독립된 프로세스로 활동할 수 있도록 정의된 통신 데이터모델에 의해 메시지 상호 교환이 가능해진다. 본 연구는 소셜러닝에서 주를 이루는 학습방법인 협력학습 중에서 다양한 에이전트를 활용하는 경우 이를 지원하는 에이전트간의 통신에 관한 의사소통 모델 응용을 통해 원활한 협력학습이 구현되도록 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소 추출과 체제모형 구축 (Study on Extraction of Sub-element and Construction of System Model for the Technological Communication Skills)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 학습자의 의사소통능력을 향상시키기 위한 도구로서 사용될 기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소 추출과 체제모형 구축에 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 기술적 의사소통능력 하위요소 추출 및 정의, 기술적 의사소통능력 체제 모형구축의 두 가지 단계로 진행하였다. 기술적 의사소통능력 하위요소 추출 및 정의 단계에서는, 기술적 의사소통능력과 관련된 요소를 포함하고 있는 기존의 설계과정 모형을 분석, 비교하고, 기술적 의사소통능력 하위요소를 추출하여 전문가 검증하였다. 다음으로 '기술적 의사소통능력'과 그 하위요소에 대한 정의를 하였다. 기술적 의사소통능력 체제 모형 구축 단계에서는, 기술적 의사소통능력 하위요소와 관련 문헌에 대한 연구를 통해 기술적 의사소통능력 체제 모형을 구축하여 전문가 검증하였다. 이러한 연구과정을 통해 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술적 의사소통능력의 하위요소는 이미지, 스케치, 순서도, 설계도, 원형제작, 기호 표 그래프, 프레젠테이션이 추출되었다. 둘째, 기술적 의사소통능력을 '온라인 오프라인을 아우르는 협업 활동'을 기반으로, '기술적 의사소통 도구'를 사용하여, '교류를 통한 구상, 교류를 통한 구현, 교류를 통한 마무리'의 과정을 통해 길러지는 의사소통능력으로 정의하였다. 셋째, 기술적 의사소통능력은 교류를 통한 구상(이미지, 스케치, 순서도), 교류를 통한 구현(설계도, 원형제작), 교류를 통한 마무리(기호 표 그래프, 프레젠테이션)의 모든 과정이 협업을 기반으로 체제를 구성하고 있다. 넷째, 기존 의사소통능력 검사도구와 기술적 의사소통능력 체제모형을 기반으로 기술적 의사소통능력 검사 도구를 개발하고, 전문가 타당도 조사를 통해 개선하였다.

A New Communication Network Model for Chat Agents in Virtual Space

  • Internet chat programs and instant messaging services are becoming increasingly popular among Internet users. One of the crucial issues with Internet chat is how to manage the corresponding pairs of questions and answers in a sequence of conversations. Although many novel methodologies have been introduced to cope with this problem, most are poor in managing interruptions, organizing turn-taking, and conveying comprehension. The Internet environment is recently evolving into a 3D environment, but the problems with managing chat dialogues with the standard 2D text-based chat have remained. Therefore, we propose a more realistic communication model for chat agents in 3D virtual space in this paper. First, we propose a new method to measure the capacity of communication between chat agents and a novel visualization method to depict the hierarchical structure of chat dialogues. In addition, we are concerned with communication networks for virtual people (avatars) living in virtual worlds. In this paper we consider a microscopic aspect of a social network in a relatively short period of time. Our experiments show that our model is highly effective in a virtual chat environment, and the communication network based on our model greatly facilitates investigation of a very large and complicated communication network.

  • This study provides the analysis and prediction of fruits diseases related to weather conditions (temperature, wind speed, solar power, rainfall and humidity) using Linear Model and Poisson Regression. The main goal of the research is to control the method of fruits diseases and also to prevent diseases using less agricultural pesticides. So, it is needed to predict the fruits diseases with weather data. Initially, fruit data is used to detect the fruit diseases. If diseases are found, we move to the next process and verify the condition of the fruits including their size. We identify the growth of fruit and evidence of diseases with Linear Model. Then, Poisson Regression used in this study to fit the model of fruits diseases with weather conditions as an input provides the predicted diseases as an output. Finally, the residuals plot, Q-Q plot and other plots help to validate the fitness of Linear Model and provide correlation between the actual and the predicted diseases as a result of the conducted experiment in this study.

  • Honey is one of the most significant ingredients in conventional food production in different regions of the world. Honey is commonly used as an ingredient in ethnic food. Beekeeping is performed in various locations as part of the local food culture and an occupation related to pollinator production. It is important to conduct beekeeping so that it generates food culture and helps regulate the regional environment in an integrated manner in preserving and improving local food culture. This study analyzes different types of environmental factors of a smart bee farm. The major goal of this study is to determine the best prediction model between the linear regression model (LM) and the support vector regression model (SVR) based on the environmental factors of a smart bee farm. The performance of prediction models is measured by R2 value, root mean squared error (RMSE), and mean absolute error (MAE). From all analysis reports, the best prediction model is the support vector regression model (SVR) with a low coefficient of variation, and the R2 values for Farm inside temperature, bee box inside temperature, and Farm inside humidity are 0.97, 0.96, and 0.44.
