안모유형에 따른 교정치료 (ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT RELATED TO FACIAL PATTERNS)

  • Certain malocclusion are associated with specific "facial type," and it is important for the clinician to classify the common facial characteristic of each patient. Because the reaction to treatment mechanics and the stability of the denture is depended upon the analysis of the facial pattern. Basically, there are 3 district facial types or patterns under which almost all malocclusion can be classified. 1. mesofacial is the most average growth. 2. brachyfacial which is a horizontal growth pattern has a week muscle, with dental arch, deep bite. 3. dolichofacial which is a vertical growth pattern has a strong muscle, narrow dental arch, open bite. Brachyfacial pattern show a resistant to mandibular rotation during treatment can accept a more protrusive denture and are prominantly nonextraction, whereas dolichofacial patterns tend to open during treatment require a more retracted denture in order to assure post-treatment stability. Brachyfacial pattern would better treat to use extrusive force system, whereas dolichofacial pattern treat to use intrusive force system with head gear and intermaxillary elastics.

New Technology with Porous Materials: Progress in the Development of the Diesel Vehicle Business

  • The long time of twenty years has passed since Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) was proposed before the practical use. The main factors that DPF has been put to practical use in this time, are the same time proposal of the evaluation method of SiC porous materials linked to he performance on the vehicle, and that the nature of thermal shock required for the soot regeneration (combustion of soot) in the DPF is different from the conventional requirement for the rather rapid thermal shock. For the requirements, these includ demonstrating utmost the characteristic of SiC's high thermal conductivity, and overcoming the difficulty of thermal expansion of SiC-DPF by dividing the filter into segments binding with the cement of lower Young's modulus, and the innovation of technology around the diesel exhaust system such as Common-Rail system. As the results of these, the cumulative shipments of SiC-DPF have reached about 5 million, and it goes at no claim in the market.

  • 전력변환기와 같은 비선형 부하의 사용증가는 전원 전력설비시스템에 고조파을 발생시킨다. AD/DC 변환설비는 전력시스템에서 중요한 고조파 발생원이 되고 있다. 고조파를 포함하는 전류와 전압은 전기설비에 고장과 오동작등과 같은 나쁜 영향을 미친다. 고조파 문제를 해결하는 일반적인 방법으로는 고조파 필터룹 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 EDSA 고조파 분석 프로그램을 사용하여 고조파를 제거하는 동조필터를 설치하여 그 효고를 검증하였다.

A Survey of RFID Deployment and Security Issues

  • This paper describes different aspects of a typical RFID implementation. Section 1 provides a brief overview of the concept of Automatic Identification and compares the use of different technologies while Section 2 describes the basic components of a typical RFID system. Section 3 and Section 4 deal with the detailed specifications of RFID transponders and RFID interrogators respectively. Section 5 highlights different RFID standards and protocols and Section 6 enumerates the wide variety of applications where RFID systems are known to have made a positive improvement. Section 7 deals with privacy issues concerning the use of RFIDs and Section 8 describes common RFID system vulnerabilities. Section 9 covers a variety of RFID security issues, followed by a detailed listing of countermeasures and precautions in Section 10.

트럭 캡 틸팅 시스템의 성능 향상 및 설계 파라미터의 자동 선정 프로그램의 개발 (The Improvement of Cab Tilting system in Heavy Truck and the Development of Program for Automatic Design Parameter Selection)

  • In this paper, the improvement of cap tilting system in heavy truck and the development of program for automatic design are discussed. Cab tilting system takes some important roles in heavy truck, absorbing discomfort vibration from load, increasing repair efficiency and making sure of safety. Common manual cab tilting system cannot be easily tilt up in sloped road, giving difficulty to driver as cal tilting up/down. So recently hydraulic cab tilting system is in wide use. But some problem such as tilting up/down speed is not constant and sudden swing of cab has brought discredit from user. Therefore, this paper presents advanced cab tilting system which prevents sudden swing of cab and development of program for selecting design parameters automatically.

유럽 도시철도 신호시스템의 표준화 동향 (The Trend of the Standardization of the Urban Guided Transport Management System in Europe)

  • Urban railway signaling system is for train operation with safety in the urban crowded area, that has been increasing the demand of use of advanced train control systems with safe. European Commission is supporting the UGTMS(Urban Guided Transport Management System) project for the research and development. The main objective of UGTMS is to provide the European urban guided transport sector (comprising metro, tram and light rail systems) with a common Management System. A key topic is the extent to which the specifications for the successful ERTMS(European Rail Transport Management System) can be adapted to UGTMS needs. Beyond this, it is necessary to define the relevant functional and system requirements for all types of urban guided transport management systems in order to improve interoperability and intermodality. Also to be explored are the prospects for open system standards. In this article, we look into the trend of the standardization through the UGTMS project in Europe and consider any benefit to the project of the standardization for the urban railway signaling system in Korea.

Hardware-In-The-Loop Simulation (HILS) Based Design and Robustness Evaluation of an Intelligent Gantry Crane System

  • The use of gantry crane systems for transporting payload is very common in industrial application. However, moving the payload using the crane is not an easy task especially when strict specifications on the swing angle and on the transfer time need to be satisfied. To overcome this problem, this paper describes development of an intelligent gantry crane system based on the mechatronic design. A lab-scale gantry crane is designed and then its intelligent controllers are developed. Fuzzy logic controllers are adopted, designed and implemented for controlling payload position as well as the swing angle of the gantry crane. The performance of the intelligent gantry crane system is evaluated on a hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) environment. Moreover robustness of the proposed system is also evaluated. The result shows that the intelligent gantry crane system designed based on the mechatronic design approach has better performance compared with the automatic gantry crane system controlled by classical PID controllers. Moreover simulation result shows that the intelligent gantry crane system is more robust to parameter variation than the automatic gantry crane system.

  • We have designed embedded web sewer system and ported Linux operating system version 2.4.5 at our system. And then We implemented to control and monitor widely separated hardware and implemented to monitor widely separated image using CMOS image sensor HV7131B. Web server is the Boa web server with General Public License. We designed for this system using of Intel's SA1110 ARM core base processor and connecting input and output device at GPIO port of SA1110. Device driver of General purpose I/O for Embedded Linux OS is designed. And then the application program controlling driver is implemented to use of common gate interface C language. User is available to control and monitor at client PC. This method have benefit to reduce the Expenditure of hardware design and development time against PC base system and have various and capacious application against firmware base system.

  • 국제해사기구가(IMO)가 연안, 항만지역에서 서비스하도록 규정한 측위 정확도와 신뢰성을 만족시키기 위해선 위성전파항법시스템뿐만 아니라 위성전파항법시스템의 오차를 보정할 수 있는 DGPS(Differential Global Positioning System)와 같은 위성전파항법 보강시스템이 함께 이용되어야 한다. 특히 이런 DGPS 사용자의 위치 정확도는 DGPS 기준국에서 전송하는 의사거리 보정정보의 정확도에 의해 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 정확한 의사거리 보정정보를 생성하기 위해 비공통 오차 추정 필터를 채용한 의사거리 보정정보 생성 알고리즘을 보이고, 이를 이용하여 생성한 의사거리 보정정보가 RTCM(Radio Technical Commission for Maritime Services) 에서 규정한 요구 성능을 만족하는지 분석한다.

커먼레일 연료분사 시스템을 장착한 경량 DME 트럭의 연구 및 개발 (Research and Development of a Light-Duty DME Truck Using Common Rail Fuel Injection Systems)

  • In this study, the trucks(2.9-liter) have been developed to use DME as fuel, and performance test of the vehicle's DME engine, power, emissions, fuel economy and vehicle aspects was conducted. For experiments, the fuel system(common-rail injectors and high-pressure pump included) and the engine control logic was developed, and ECU mapping was performed. As a result, the rail pressure from 40MPa to approximately 65% increase compared to the base injector has been confirmed that. Also, the pump discharge flow is 15.5 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 400rpm(40 MPa), and the pump discharge flow is 92.1 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 2,000rpm(40MPa). The maximum value of full-load torque capability is 25.5kgfm(based on 2,000rpm), and more than 90% compared to the level of the diesel engine were obtained. The DME vehicle was developed in this study, 120 km/h can drive to the stable, and calculated in accordance with the carbon-balance method of fuel consumptions is 5.7 km/L.
