During face recognition process, face detection process is most preceding process. However, face has very high floating property, so the result could be very different according to which method we used. This paper studies about eye detection and eye blinking verification using edge and color information from YCbCr distribution map, segmentation, and labeling methods.

It is well known that multipoint and computerized intraoperative mapping systems improve the results of surgery for Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome and show tremendous potential for opening an entirely new era of surgical intervention for the more common and lethal types of supraventricular tachyarrhythmias such as atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation. In addition, the ability to map and ablate the sometimes fleeting automatic atrial tachycardia is greatly enhanced by computerized mapping systems. In this study, we have developed 16 channel computerized data analysis system using microcomputer for basic research of electrophysiology and electrical propagation. This system is expected to enable us to study pathophysiology of cardiac arrhythmia and to improve the results of diagnosis and surgical treatment for cardiac arrhythmia.

The main concern of the study is the playwrights' perspectives toward the relationship between society and individuals rather than specific cultural or social circumstances. This study is justified in that the similarities of both playwrights not only provide an opportunity to bridge two different cultures, but they also help readers understand another culture and deepen the understanding of their own culture in the map of international literature. In their plays, both Miller and Cha express an individual's or a family's frustration, conflict, pleasure, and hope as reflected in the social circumstances. The characters take ideas and values from their social world and thrive or fail. Specifically, I have focused on three elements--obsession, generational value systems, and alienation. With three common features, I examine how closely Miller and Cha deal with ordinary people's tragedies.

Congratulations on the 40th Anniversary of KAHP, which has made great contributions to the control of parasitic diseases in Korea, and to the development of collaboration with China and other Asia countries aiming at the common interest. The 40 years of KAH/KAHP and its predecessor, Korea Association of Parasite Eradication has composed a brilliant road map to bring the prevalence of intestinal parasite infection from 84.3% in 1971 to the current prevalence of 2.4%, and to endeavor in the promotion of the health of children, man and woman, and low income families in Korea, as well as to generously share the successful experience in parasite control with China during the last half century. Indeed, the 40th birth day of KAHP is marked with great achievements and bright future.

A three-dimensional pharmacophore hypothesis was developed for atypical antipsychotics in order to map common structural features of highly active compounds by using HipHop in CATALYST program. The pharmacophore hypotheses were generated using 12 compounds as training set and validated using 11 compounds as test set. The most predictive hypothesis (Hypo1) comprises five features viz. two hydrophobic regions, two hydrogen bond acceptor lipid and one aromatic ring. In the absence of information like crystallized structure of 5-$HT_{2A}$ receptor and binding mode of antipsychotics with 5-$HT_{2A}$ receptor, this hypothesis will serve as a potentially valuable tool in the design of novel atypical antipsychotics acting primarily at 5-$HT_{2A}$ and $D_2$ receptors.

ITK-SNAP (http://www.itksnap.org) and 3D Slicer (CMFreg extension module; www.slicer.org) are open-source softwares which can be used for superimposition of cone-beam CT images. For superimposition, segmentation of bone is done with ITK-SNAP, and then voxel based superimposition of CBCT images can be performed using 3D Slicer. 3D Slicer has various visualization modules which are not provided in common commercial programs. 'Models' module is used to visualize two overlapping three-dimensional images, and this allows various visualizations by changing view mode and color of the model. In addition, differences between two CBCT images can be represented in a color map using 'ShapePopulationViewer' module. This report introduces how to superimpose and visualize CBCT images using ITK-SNAP and 3D Slicer, and the usefulness and limitations of both softwares will be discussed in comparison with commercial softwares.

In this study the characteristics of E-EGR valve developed by electrical method were analysed and the feasibility of application to vehicles was evaluated. The engine of smart car applied for diesel passenger car of small-displacement size developed by common vehicle was used for this experiment. It was installed a 3-cylinder, $0.8\ell$, turbo-charged light duty diesel engine with an electronic EGR valve. After the analysis and comparison of E-EGR valve performance by test bench, the estimation of vehicle application was executed through the EGR map and CVS-75 test result measured on the chassis dynamometer.

Various methods to improve the planetary gear noise in the vehicle were introduced. And planetary gear systems were analyzed Therefore a common thing among the different planetary gear systems which generate the gear noise in the vehicle was founded. Most importantly, a frequency versus vibration level map was introduced and a predictive method, which is considering the masking effect, to design the planetary gear sets in the concept design stage was described.

In this article, we first give metric version of an iteration scheme of Agarwal et al. [1] and approximate fixed points of two finite families of nonexpansive mappings in hyperbolic spaces through this iteration scheme which is independent of but faster than Mann and Ishikawa scheme. Also we consider case of three finite families of nonexpansive mappings. But, we need an extra condition to get convergence. Our convergence theorems generalize and refine many know results in the current literature.

It has been a common practice to use manually processed soil maps in planning of land readjustment. This study is intended to develop a geographic information system for computerized processing of soil maps. The detailed soil maps were drawn using the geographic information system, and analyzed and compared with manually processed maps. The soil maps, in conjunction with a computer program of land readjustment design, can be applied in estimation of soil works appropriate for the given soil condition, and also in selecting the efficient construction equipments. The study results prove that the proposed methods based on the geographic information system can be used effectively in preparing soil maps for design of land readjustment.
