  • The data which is sensed on USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) environment is concerned with personal privacy and the secret information of business, but it has more vulnerable characteristics, in contrast to common networks. In other words, USN has the vulnerabilities which is easily exposed to the attacks such as the eavesdropping of sensor information, the distribution of abnormal packets, the reuse of message, an forgery attack, and denial of service attacks. Therefore, the key is necessarily required for secure communication between sensor nodes. This paper proposes a KDPC(Key Distribution Protocol based on Cluster) using ECDH algorithm by considering the characteristics of sensor network. As a result, the KDPC can provide the safe USN environment by detecting the forgery data and preventing the exposure of sensing data.

  • Recently, as computers and networks become popular, distributing information on the Internet is common In our daily life. also, the explosion of the Internet. of wireless digital communication and data exchange on Internet has rapidly changed the way we connect with other people. The e-mail has been commonly used by users as well recognizing It as the standard of manners among users on the Internet. In the past, e-mail has been the primary choice of exchanging Information, but secure mail is gaining popularity abroad and domestically because of their nature of providing security. That is. it has been used a variety of fields such as general mail and e-mail for advertisement. But, As the data transmitted on network can be easily opened or forged with simple operations. most of existing e-mail system don't have any security on the transmitted information. Thus. security mail system need to provide security including message encryption, content Integrity, message origin authentication, and non-repudiation. In this paper, we design implement secure mail system with non-repudiation service and encryption capability to provide services for certification of delivery and certification of content as well as the basic security services.   • In order to meet the recently enhanced emission standards at home and abroad, it is necessary to develop the CRDI ECU control algorithm that users can adjust fuel injection timing and amount in response to their needs. Therefore, this study developed the simulator for knocking analysis that enables knocking discrimination and engine balance correction applicable to the ECU exclusive to the industrial CRDI engine. The purpose of this study is to provide the driver-oriented diagnostic service that enable drivers to diagnose vehicles directly by developing diagnostic devices for vehicles with ths use of the results of the developed simulator for knocing analysis according to the OBD-II standards. For this purpose, this study aims to improve the fuel efficiency of vehicles by proposing the S/W design method of the OBD-II diagnosis device that can provide real-time communcations with the use of wired system and bluetooth module as a wireless system to send and recevice automobile fault diagnosis signal and sensor output signal, and to suggest an improvement for engine efficiency by minimizing the generation of harmful exhaust gas.

  • A virtual power plant is a kind of software power plant that enables participation in power operation by integrally managing individual distributed resources. This paper proposes a common information communication architecture based on the TASE.2 standard and the OpenADR2.0 standard to operate a virtual power plant as a single power system. ESS is designed TASE.2 SBO devices that related objects are mapped to OpenADR2.0 services and composed as a single sequence type. Through simulation verification, it conforms data exchange and operation based on both standards.

  • Recently, as digital broadcasting and internet are spreaded out of the world, we can easily use informations with less restrictions of time and space. According to the current trends, concerns for the ways of representing multimedia data has been rapidly increased, and users demand the services with integrated document that takes not only simple text and image but also time varying audio-visual data. Therefore, in 1998, W3C presented an international standard, SMIL in order to solve multimedia object representation and synchronization problems. By using SMIL, various multimedia elements can be integrated as a multimedia document with proper view in a space and time. Using this SMIL document, we can create new internet radio broadcasting service that delivers not only audio data but also various text, image and video. In this paper, we describe on a SMIL document editor for the common users to be able to represent time varying multimedia data with special layout and synchronization of time and space.

  • Portal site is not only providing search engine and e-mail service but also various services including blog, news, shopping, and others. The fact that average number of daily login for Korean portal site Naver is reaching 300 million suggests that many people are using portal sites. With the increase in number of users followed by the diversity in types of services provided by portal sites, the attack is also increasing. Most of studies of password authentication is focused on threat and countermeasures, however, in this study, we analyse the security threats and security requirement of membership, login, password reset first phase, password reset second phase. Also, we measure security score with common criteria of attack potential. As a result, we compare password authentication system of domestic and abroad portal sites.

  • As the interests on RFID technologies increase, a lot of research activities on RFID middleware systems to handle the data acquired by RFID readers are going on actively. Meanwhile, even though various kinds of RFID middleware methodologies and related techniques have been proposed, the common data type which is dealt with in those systems is an EPC code, mainly. Also, there are few researches of the implementation of collecting the stream data queued from RFID readers endlessly and without blocking, classifying the data into some groups according to usage, and sending the resulting data to specific applications. In this paper, we propose the method of data handling in RFID middleware to efficiently process an EPC event stream data using detail filtering, checking of data modification, creation of data set to transfer, data grouping, and various kinds of RFID data format transform. Our method is based on a de facto international standard interface defined in the ALE middleware specification by EPCglobal, and application and service users can directly set various kinds of conditions to handle the stream data.

  • The library could get infinite possibilities of the space, if people had recognized that the library was not only the space for the reading and collecting of the books but also a special space for accomplishment of the investigation, learning, communication, and culture. Also, it can be desirable way for implementing the hybrid library. It means that combine with the traditional library which is the most important thing is a real space and the digital library, in contrast, the which is that the most important thing is the cyberspace. The purpose of this study is to develop a practical model for hybrid library based on the concept of information commons which is cooperation of the space, information technology and information services. This study intends to figure out the core elements involved in operative aspect of hybrid library through comparative analysis of domestic and foreign cases applied Information commons concepts to the library.

  • The development of social media in the 2000s led the unspecified individuals to band together for common interests. Social networking services served as a far-reaching tool for sharing different thoughts and interpretation of the pop culture and helped people build up close relations driven by their common interests for certain works of the pop culture. This Study introduces the TV Series as a case that displays specific patterns of communication between its producer and viewers. Producer Bryan Fuller of the Series as well as key production staffs were quite active on social networking sites with the understanding of what the audience desired and the willingness to sympathize with them, which were eagerly welcomed by the dedicated audience whose number, though, was not big. For the Hannibal production team, SNS was a means for them to just be consumers who appreciate the work instead of solely being the content provider. Their approach is quite different from unilateral marketing approaches employed in the past. Through this case, the Study aims to suggest that social networking sites serve as a powerful medium connecting producers and viewers or as an information hub, and that how interactive contents shall be delivered in the new media environment to be effective.
