  • Recently, domestic interest about wireless internet is rising gradually. Characteristic of present domestic wireless market is that mobile communication businessmans appropriate each other different mobile platform. So, contents provider's development environment can not be same each other. This makes contents providers repeat same work. To solve this problem, standardization work of wireless internet market was begun. The three mobile communication companies and TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association), RRU(Radio Research Laboratory), ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) progressed standardization. By the result, May 2002, WIPI that is wireless standard platform selected by mobile platform standard that is TTA organization standard. In this paper, 1 am going to examine the WIPI. WIPI can reduce mostly expense that happen when we use different platform. 1 design and embody common phrase function. Through this, 1 am going to show improvement of the character input speed in cellular phone. And I wish to discuss expected cost decrease effect. Investigate about platform of treatise that is used in domestic. analyze about the characteristic, merits and demerits. Chatting service and common phrase function design and embody. Finally, wish to discuss about advantage of common phrase function and practical use field.

  • In applying RFID/USN technology to various industries, it is needed to solve the problem caused by the system differences. Accordingly, this study introduces the common standard platform concept, and suggests the standard data scheme which provides the uniform perspective of classifying supply chain data and of using vocabularies. We selected several industry areas applicable for the platform, which are pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and liquor industry. We collect and organize terminologies used in the supply chain of each industry, and then classify them according to the defined data attributes. The standardized vocabularies are suggested based on the contextured scheme of data classification. This study could provide more convenient way of communication between business partners, system developers and users of the platform.

  • The rises of the life index quality together with the medical technology improvement lead to a longer life expectancy. Then a better health care program, especially for elderly, is needed. The common health problems facing those senior citizens are changed from acute diseases to chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension. Then u-Health takes center stage in medical industry. Although u- Health medical device manufacturers have been improving their instruments, these instruments still rely on proprietary technologies without fixed platform. Even if the interface has been provided by the manufacturer, there is no widely-accepted uniform data model to access data of various u-Health devices. IEEE 11073 is a standard attempting to unify the interfaces of all medical devices. In this paper we have proposed a conversion software platform that assures interoperability among medical devices for ubiquitous sensor network. This module uses in order to develop a standard platform of medical system.

  • Mobile Internet has different platforms cause interrupt activation of mobile internet because contents providers have each different development environment. To use of WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) developer by KWISF(Korea Wireless Internet Standard Forum) founded to solve this problem guarantee independence of hardware and interpretation of mobile application. In this paper, Examine WIPI's characteristic and main standard that is standard platform that can reduce expense that happen in current different platform in treatise. And. common use phrase function that consider convenience of chatting service between portable phone that is that is used recently design and embody. Wish to argue about elevation of the character input speed of portable phone and effect that happen thereby through this.

  • Building Information Modeling(BIM) technology continues to develop and is now being applied to infrastructure facilities. As smart technology based on BIM is applied to the construction industry, the construction of the same data in a common environment is considered to be a very important step in various applications. This study was conducted on methods to establish an open BIM-based airport facility information common data environment. Therefore, this study develops the element technology to establish a common data environment for the integrated management of airport facility information, and aims to standardize data in the common data environment among various technologies and applications. In order to achieve the aim, in this study, the required technologies were derived by examining the common data environment and examining the civil engineering facility field and the case of integrated airport facility management. Through this, standards and development for information standard framework, information requirement level, BIM guidebook, and BIM library were developed in connection with national and higher standards. Through these standards, it is expected that the integrated management of various airport facilities will be efficiently carried out through a standard data platform in the future.

  • Smart grid is called it as a system of systems. There are diverse types of systems in smart grid environment. Therefore, one of key factors to achieve smart grid successfully is interoperability among diverse systems. To secure interoperability, smart grid operating system should be developed complied with standards in terms of the data representation and communication. Common Information Model (CIM) and OLE Process for Control - Unified Architecture (OPC-UA) are the representative international standards in smart grid domain. Each standard defines data representation and communication by providing common information model and the unified architecture. In this paper, we explain a smart grid platform that we have developed to comply with CIM and OPC-UA standards for secure interoperability among numerous legacy systems.

  • In the medical field where artificial intelligence technology is introduced, research related to clinical decision support system(CDSS) in relation to diagnosis and prediction is actively being conducted. In particular, medical imaging-based disease diagnosis area applied AI technologies at various products. However, medical imaging data consists of inconsistent data, and it is a reality that it takes considerable time to prepare and use it for research. This paper describes a one-stop AI learning platform for converting to medical image standard R_CDM(Radiology Common Data Model) and supporting AI algorithm development research based on the dataset. To this, the focus is on linking with the existing CDM(common data model) and model the system, including the schema of the medical imaging standard model and report information for multi-center research based on DICOM(Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) tag information. And also, we show the execution results based on generated datasets through the AI learning platform. As a proposed platform, it is expected to be used for various image-based artificial intelligence researches.

  • Platform operators adopted ATSC standard send only their own channel program schedule information, so in order for the viewer to see other channel information, they have to tune the channel to the other. This issue arises from the operators' lack of bandwidth and the business interest conflicts between the platform operators. This paper guides how ATSC standard could be used within Xlet based application to display other channel information through the ISG (Integrated Scheduling Guide) technology via interactive return channel services. Its own channel information can be displayed by using on-air PSIP (Program and System Information Protocol) data.

  • In current digital broadcasting systems, GEM(Globally Executable MHP)-based middlewares such as MHP(Multimedia Home Platform), OCAP(OpenCable Application Platform), ACAP(Advanced Common Application Platform) are the norm. Despite much of the common characteristics shared, such as MPEG-2 and DSM-CC(Digital Storage Media-Command and Control) protocols, the information and data structures they need are slightly different, which results in incompatibility issues. In this paper, in line with an effort to develop an integrated DTV middleware, we propose a general-purpose, reconfigurable DSM-CC architecture for supporting various standard GEM-based middlewares without code modifications. First, we identify DSM-CC components that are common and thus can be shared by all GEM-based middlewares. Next, the system is provided with middleware-specific information and data structures in the form of XML. Since the XML information can be parsed dynamically at run time, it can be interchanged either statically or dynamically for a specific target middleware. As for the performance issues, the response time and usage frequency of DSM-CC module highly contribute to the performance of STB(Set-Top-Box). In this paper, we also propose an efficient application cache management strategy and evaluate its performance. The performance result has shown that the cache strategy reflecting user preferences greatly helps to reduce response time for executing application.
