과학기술위성 3호 S 대역 수신기 기술인증모델 개발 (Engineering Qualification Model Development of S-band Receiver for STSAT-3)

  • 과학기술위성 3호의 TT&C 통신 서브시스템은 위성의 텔레메트리(Telemetry) 신호를 지상국에 송신하고 지상국으로부터의 명령(Command) 신호를 수신하기 위한 통신 경로로 구성된다. 지상국으로부터의 명령신호를 수신하기 위해 S 대역 수신기가 사용되며, 현재 기술인증모델을 설계 및 제작하였다. 설계된 S 대역 수신기는 구조를 간단하게 하기 위해 주파수 하향변환 방식으로 Single Conversion 방식을 사용하였으며, DC-DC Converter과 EMI Filter을 포함한다. 또한 디지털 복조부를 FPGA를 이용하여 구현하였으며, 데이터 인터페이스로 RS-422을 사용하였다. S 대역 수신기는 기능시험과 환경시험을 수행한 결과 과학기술위성 3호의 요구조건을 모두 만족하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • This paper presents the system interface standard that are associated with additional devices like sensor nodes as well as fire monitoring panel, panic button and emergency call in city railroad environment. Existing fire monitoring panel, panic button and emergency call system is responsible for fire detection and alarm, emergency alarm and communication with the manager. Recently, researches that are associated with NVR-based intelligent integrated surveillance systems and existing alarm system are activated but most of the system is dedicated to it existing. In order to expand devices that is supported other monitoring function, separate device configuration or modification of integrated surveillance system are inevitable. In this study, interface standard between standard controller, integrated command center and each device that facilitate additional expansion of integrated surveillance system and avoid the extra cost is presented.

유압구동 백호 작업기 조작 인터페이스개발 (A Maneuver Interface Scheme of a Hydraulic Backhoe Manipulator)

  • This paper presents an intuitive interface scheme for controlling a hydraulic backhoe, which is a piece of excavating equipment consisting of a digging bucket on the end of a two-part articulated arm, and typically mounted and rotated on the back of a tractor or front loader. The passive levers/joysticks for actuator operations of a hydraulic backhoe are replaced into electric joysticks with a robotic controller, which will generate the end-effecter command trajectories of the backhoe through joystick rate control in cylindrical coordinate. The developed backhoe with the hydraulic control system showed the maxim position error of 3 cm with intuitive coordinate operations, which would be helpful for conveniently performing various excavating tasks with natural and effective ways.

사무업무 형태에 따른 적정 컴퓨터 사용자 인터페이스 (User Interface Styles for Different Office Tasks)

  • Many office tasks have been automated by using computers to increase task productivity. The productivity of performing office tasks is dependent not only upon automating the task procedures, but also upon the usability of user interfaces. However, the literature lacks human factors research on evaluating the usability of user interface styles when they are used for performing different office tasks. This study evalu- ated the usability of user interfaces styles when performing various office tasks. User interface styles considered include menu-selection, command language, form fill-in, iconic styles, etc. A task analysis was conducted toclassify representative office tasks. A variety of analysis techniques such as brainstorming, analytic hierarchy process, prototyping, and expert opinions were used to evaluate the usability of the interfaces. The analysis procedures and results are described along with guidelines for selecting user interfaces in terms of subjective preferences and performance measures.

눈으로 조종하는 인간/컴퓨터 인터페이스 (Eye as a Human/Computer Interface Device)

  • By integrating the eye head-position monitioring devices, the present authors developed an eye-controlled human/computer interface based on the line-of-sight and an intentional blink to invoke commands. Also modified was an existing calibration method to reduce the visual angle between the target center and the intersection point of the derived line-of-sight. This modified calibration method allowed 108 or more command blocks to be displayed on the 14 inch monitor with the target acquisition probability(hit rate) of 98% when viewed at the distance of 500 mm apart. An active triggering method using an intentional blink was proposed and was shown to be a feasible and efficient alternative to invoke commands with total triggering time of 0.8 sec or less. The system could be used by the normal people as well as the handicapped individuals as a new human/computer interface.

  • 현대의 PC 환경에서 사용자 인터페이스의 변화는 계속하여 발전할 것으로 기대된다. HCI 전용 인터페이스는 종래의 CLI; Command Line Interface의 시대에서 MS-Windows 기반의 Graphic User Interface의 시대로 전환되어 왔으며, 가까운 미래에는 NUI; Natural User Interface의 시대로 도래함은 부정할 수 없는 현실이다. 미래에는 전통적인 표준 입력 장치인 키보드, 마우스를 탈피하여 새로운 개념의 입력 장치들이 개발되고, 터치 방식과 같이 인간의 직관적 인지능력을 흉내 낸 인터페이스로 발전할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 NUI의 사례 연구로서 닌텐도 WiiRemote를 Bluetooth와 함께 PC에 연동하여 차세대 인터페이스인 PC Controller를 설계, 사람 제스처를 통한 자연스런 한글입력의 가능성을 제안한다.

아리랑위성 탑재소프트웨어에서의 명령처리 방안 (Command Processing Methodology in KOMPSAT Flight Software)

  • 다목적 실용위성인 아리랑 위성은 각각의 기능을 수행하는 3개의 프로세서들로 분산되어 있으며 이들 프로세서들은 데이터 버스인 MID-STD-1553을 통해 프로세서간 통신을 수행하게 되며, 지상과의 통신을 위해서는 CCSDS(Consultative Committee fur Space Data)[1] 표준 규격을 채택하여 사용하고 있다. 이 표준 규격에 맞추어 지상에서는 위성으로 명령들을 보내게 리며 각각의 3개 프로세서 상에서 수행중인 탑재 소프트웨어 중 명령처리(Command and Communication Interface) 소프트웨어에서는 이들 명령들을 각각의 명령어 유형에 따라 처리하게 된다. 지상으로부터 전송되어진 명령들은 3개 프로세서 중 OBC(On-Board Computer)를 통해 처리되어진 후 1553B Data Bus를 통해 다른 2개 프로세서로 전송되어진다. 본 논문에서는 아리랑 위성에서 처리되는 명령득의 유형의 설계 및 구현 방법을 설명한다.

  • This research extends a general theory of cognition to address cognitive constraints on complex command production and allows us to make system design recommendations. The research described in this paper addresses the cognitive origins of problems user have producing sequence-dependent command strings while interacting with the UNIX operating system. We describe an empirical and theoretical analysis of user difficulties, and then show how our analyses lead to design recommendations. In addition, we summarize results from testing the impact of our design recommendations on system usability

  • In this paper, we suggest machine control method by the Recognition of Literal Commands. This method that we design is human friendly interface to be able to command easy We distinguish words that is related to command directly or not in the Literal Commands. And vague expressions to move machine directly make behaviors by intelligent recognition model. We suggest The Literal Commands control method that is able to obtain more realistic output equivalent to users' desire throgh the literary style commands. The proposed method is experimentally tested by a mobile car using bluetooth module and mobile phone in real time using Literal language commands.

  • In the future, the convenient speech command system will become an widely-using interface in automation systems. But the previous research in speech recognition didn't give satisfactory recognition results for the practical realization in the noise environment. The purpose of this research is the development of a practical system, which reliably recognizes the speech command of the registered users, by complementing an existing research which used the image information with the speech signal. For the lip-reading feature extraction from a image, we used the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform), which reduces the size and gives useful characteristics of the original image. And to enhance the robustness to the environmental changes of speakers, we acquired the speech signal by stereo method. We designed an economic stand-alone system, which adopted a Bt829 and an AD1819B with a TMS320C31 DSP based add-on board.
