컨버전스 제품의 인식 및 평가에 대한 실증적 연구 : 결합 개념 이론을 중심으로 (Empirical Studies on the Conceptual Combination of Digital Convergence Products)

  • A wide variety of convergent digital products are emerging through the combination of multiple independent digital technologies. Digital convergence provides new revenue sources for businesses and new ways of satisfying individual needs of consumers. Despite its business and consumer implications, little research has addressed how people perceive or evaluate convergent products. This study aims at understanding how consumers interpret and evaluate convergent digital products by conducting two consecutive studies. Firstly, a survey was conducted to understand how people interpret convergent products in three ways suggested by the conceptual combination theory based in cognitive science. Secondly, an experiment was conducted to investigate the impact of combination strategies and product similarities on user evaluation of convergent products. Study results indicate that similarity of constituent products has a substantial effect on the interpretation of concept combination strategies. Moreover, combination strategy and product similarity were found to have substantial effects on user comprehension, perceived newness, and preferences for convergent products. This paper ends with an examination of the implications and limitations of the study results.

  • Implantable bioabsorbable combination products undergo inherent degradation and systemic absorption within the physiological environment, thereby streamlining the therapeutic regimen and obviating the imperative for invasive extraction procedures. This inherent property not only enhances patient convenience and therapeutic efficacy but also underpins a paradigm of support characterized by heightened safety parameters. Within the regulatory landscapes of Korea, the United States, and Europe, implantable bioabsorbable combination products are meticulously classified into distinct categories, either as pharmaceutical implants or as implantable medical devices, depending on their primary mode of action. This scholarly investigation systematically examines the regulatory frameworks governing implantable bioabsorbable combination products in South Korea, the United States, and Europe. Notable discrepancies across national jurisdictions emerge concerning regulatory specifics, including terminology, product classification, and product name associated with these products. The conspicuous absence of standardized approval regulations presents a formidable barrier to the commercialization of these advanced medical devices. This academic discourse passionately emphasizes the critical need for formulating and implementing a sophisticated regulatory framework capable of streamlining the product approval process, thereby paving the way for a seamless path to commercializing implantable bioabsorbable combination products.

A Weighing Algorithm for Multihead Weighers

  • In industry, multihead automatic combination weighers are used to provide accurate weights at high speed. To minimize giveaway, greater accuracy is desired, especially for valuable products. This paper describes a combination algorithm based on bit operation. The combination method is simple and saves time, since only the elements to be considered for combination are generated. The total number of combinations from which the desired output weight is chosen can be increased by extending the combination from memory hoppers to include some weighing hoppers. For an eight-channel weigher, three or four combination elements are best. In addition to targeting approximately equal amounts of products in each channel, this study investigated other schemes. Simulation results show that schemes targeting combination elements with an unequal distribution of the output weight are more accurate. The most accurate scheme involves supplying products to all memory and weighing hoppers before commencing the combination operation. However, this scheme takes more time.

  • 오늘날 워크맨, 모비일폰, 노트북PC, PDA와 같은 제품들은 우리 몸과 함께 이동하고, 인터넷과 같은 가상헤계에서는 아바타(Avatar)라는 우리의 분신이 사이버상에서 우리들 육체를 대신해 행동하고 있다. 이러한 제품들은 우리 인간의 몸과 관련된 것들이며, 이렇게 인간의 몸에 물리적으로 붙으며 아울러 정신적 결합의 의미를 가지는 것을 인간과 제품의 결합이라 할 때에, 이러한 제품들을 현실과 가상을 포괄한 인간과 제품의 결합관계로서 접근하여 알아볼 필요성이 있다. 연구결과로서 고대로부터 지금 현재까지 인간의 몸과 결합한다고 하는 제품들을 꾸준히 발견할 수 있었고, 최근에 와서 그 양상은 긴밀한 관계로서 결합과 이동성향이 강하게 나타남을 알 수 있다. 이러한 배경에는 사회문화적으로 이분법적 사고의 붕괴, 혼성모방, 사이버문화, 테크노문화, 정보유목민개념 등이 나옴에 따라 인간과 기계의 구분이 모호해지는 현상과, 제품이 소형화되고 인간을 흉내 모방하거나 네트워크화되어 인간과의 결합성향이 더욱 가속화되는 변화에 있다. 따라서 상호간 결합성향이 더욱 가속화되는 변화에 있다. 따라서 상호간 결합성향이 짙어감에 따라 인간의 몸과 제품을 하나로 바라보아 신체적, 정신적측면, 제품적 특성을 모두 포용한 가장 적절한 복합체로서 접근하는 상호결합적 관점으로서의 변화가 필요하다. 상호결합제품은 인간의 정신, 육체와 전적, 부분적으로 결합하여 인간의 몸을 중심으로 물리적 안착을 하여 지속적 접촉을 가지는 것이라 정의할 수 있다. 그 결과 이동성을 가지는 고대의 도구들은 단순이 인간의 기능확장에 머무르고 신체와 관련된 결합들이 많았으나, 현재로 올수록 신체와 정신에 동시결합하는 제품들이 많아지고 있다. 이러한 제품들은 인간의 몸과 결합방식별로 여러가지 형태로 결합하고 있으며, 기능이 중층화되고 인간의 몸과 물리적으로 가까와지거나 커뮤니케이션형태가 고도화되고, 기존에 인간의 몸에 잇던 제품들을 통해 재발생되는 형식을 취하고 있다. 또한 제품들간에 적외선, 무선통신 같은 방식을 토해 교신하고 있으며, 외형발산성향이 강하여 장신구나 옷과 같이 변하고, 가상아바타의 경우 인간의 육체를 모방하고 인간의 행동을 대신하는 특징을 가지고 있다.

녹차 및 천연산물로부터 장염 비브리오균(Vibrio. parahaemolyticus)의 제어를 위한 고추장의 개발 (Development of GOCHUJANG for Controlling V. parahaemolyticus with Green Tea and Natural Products)

  • V. pnrahaemolyticus를 저해하는 천연산물 조합 추출물을 이용하여 고추장을 제조하였다. 각각의 천연산물 및 천연산물 조합 추출물의 항산화력 크기는 ORP system value를 이용하여 측정하였고, 천연산물 조합 추출물을 이용하여 제조한 고추장을 disk 법으로 IZD (Inhibition zone divided by diameter of disk)를 측정하여 제어의 정도를 비교하였다. 그 결과 한 가지 천연산물에서는 황백, 오미자, 녹차가 높게 나타났고, 이들 천연산물을 조합했을 때도 항산화력이 높게 나타나 기능성 고추장을 제조할 수 있을 것이라 판단하였다. 그리고 항산화력이 높게 측정된 황백, 오미자, 녹차 그리고 황금의 A조합과 A조합에 오가피를 첨가한 B조합의 IZD를 측정하였을 때 각각 $1.57\pm0.0051$$1.56\pm0.0071$로 제어력이 뛰어나 A조합과 B조합의 천연산물의 추출물을 이용하여 고추장을 제조하였다 고추장을 제조하였을 때 A조합(IZD: $1076\pm0.0103$)보다 B조합(IZD: $1079\pm0.0103$)이 좋게 나타났고, 이 고추장으로 식초를 첨가하여 초고추장을 제조하였을 때도 A조합(IZD: $2.15\pm0.0071$)보다 B조합(IZD: $2.44\pm0.0086$)이 뛰 어난 제어력을 보였다 여기에 chitosan, 마늘, 메주의 첨가는 유의성 있는 제어력을 나타내지 못하였다.

Association between soy products, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products and gastric cancer risk in Helicobacter pylori-infected subjects: a case-control study in Korea

  • BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Consumption of certain protective foods may help inhibit Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) associated gastric pathologies. However, studies conducted to assess the efficacy of protective foods in H. pylori-infected subjects are either limited or inconsistent. This study evaluated the association of individual or a combination of protective foods on the incidence of gastric cancer (GC) in H. pylori-positive subjects through a case-control study. MATERIALS/METHODS: Subjects aged 20-79 years were selected from 2 hospitals between December 2002 and September 2006. In total, 134 patients and 212 controls tested positive for H. pylori infection. Among these, we included 82 pairs of cases and controls matched by sex, age (± 5 years), enrollment period (± 1 years), and hospital. RESULTS: A higher intake of soy products was associated with a significantly lower risk of GC than a lower intake of soy products (odds ratio [OR] = 0.37, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.14-0.96). Additionally, a higher fruit intake resulted in a significantly lower risk of GC than a lower fruit intake (OR = 0.35, 95% CI = 0.13-0.94). A combination of food groups was evaluated, and a lower risk of GC was observed with a high intake of both soy products and fruits (OR = 0.20, 95% CI = 0.06-0.67), high intake of soy and dairy products (OR = 0.28, 95% CI = 0.10-0.78) and high intake of fruits and dairy products (OR = 0.28, 95% CI = 0.09-0.83). CONCLUSIONS: A high intake of soy products or fruits was associated with a lower risk of GC. A combination of soy products or fruits with dairy products was associated with a lower risk of GC. A balanced intake of soy products, fruits, and dairy products may help reduce GC risk.

다채널 조합형 계량기의 안정화 성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Measurement Time Reduction for Multi-Channel Combination Scale)

  • The performance of a multi-head, computerized combination scaling system to automatically identify a group of agricultural products having a total weight within the target range has been optimized to reduce the package cycle time of the merchandise. First, the structure of the scale was modified to enable faster measurement by enhancing the dynamic stability during the process. Second, the high frequency noise in the measured signal was eliminated by a high frequency filter to provide more accurate weight data. Finally, the algorithm to identify a group of products with a total weight within the target range was modified to enable a user to select an optimal number of scales. According to the experimental verifications, this modified system reduced the package cycle time significantly and also was accurate in measuring the total weight of the selected products.

패션 상품 아이템 개발을 위한 창의적 발상법의 활용 -벨벳 상품의 사례- (Item Development for Fashion Products Using Creative Thinking Methods -A Case of Velvet Products-)

  • This study presents the process of fashion item development with velvet through creative thinking methods. Creativity is one of the most important requirements for a successful job career and education enhancing creative thinking is needed in the area of fabrication, product design, and marketing strategy development. Velvet was selected as a research stimulus because it is a luxurious fabric with various differential properties such as a soft touch, unique luster, excellent drapability, and fine physical properties. The research methodology included creative thinking methods review, the selection of the tools, idea sourcing and listing, sequential idea evaluation and sample product making. After review of the various creative thinking methods, a combination method and forced connection method were employed as research tools to confirm the usefulness of creative thinking training because of their independence of use and application simplicity. A total of 12 university students participated as subjects in this research. After some training, each student derived ten ideas for velvet products that utilized a combination method and forced connection method. A total of 120 ideas were evaluated for novelty, technical possibility, practicality, and marketability; subsequently, 24 ideas were adopted and developed as sample products. The effectiveness of creativity education in fabrication and product design classes was verified through the whole process of product planning.
