The object of this study is as follows. First, according to the silhouette of clothes, I will search the relationship with the embroidery design. Second, I will investigate the relation of coloration about the clothes color and embroidery color. Third, I will search the relation with the image in clothes and embroidery design characteristic. The data acquisition is selected to the total 447 pictures of embroidery clothing design from the www.style.com, www.samsungdesign.net which are the related information site. The data are limited from S/S season in 2004 till F/W season in 2008 in the Paris, Milano, and New York collection. The analytical method was made through the analyze method and statistical method. First, on the relation with the clothes silhouette and embroidery design, if the satin stitch technique is utilized as the X-shaped or A-line silhouette in the one-piece and dress, the image which is elegant and feminine can be expressed. if the satin stitch technique is utilized as the H-line silhouette in jacket and court, the mannish image can be expressed. Second, the embroidery color showed up as the contrast combination of the monotone when the clothes color was the monochrome. And the embroidery color showed up as the tone in which is bright and sober when clothes color had 2 or 3 or 4. So, if the embroidery color is utilized as the similar color scheme, it will be effective. Third, if the embroidery technique of the one-piece and dress is utilized as the the satin stitch technique and the bloom and leaf motive being stylized pattern is used in the all-over and border pattern, It will be effective to express the romantic/feminine, ethnic/folklore, active, and classic image.

This study compares and analyzes the designs of Burberry creative directors, Christopher Bailey and Riccardo Tisci. For this purpose, 322 photographs (176 Christopher Bailey and 146 Riccardo Tisci) were collected and the data analysis criteria were classified into color, shape, material, decoration, item, and fashion style. With respect to the data analysis method, statistical analysis and content analysis were combined. First, the design characteristics of Christopher Bailey top and bottom combined bright tone, tone-in-tone color scheme, H-line, heterogeneous material combination, and smart casual appeared very frequently. Second, the design characteristics of Riccardo Tisci top and bottom combined were monotone, tone-on-tone color scheme, H-line, heterogeneous material combinations, and street culture. Third, the design differences between creative directors were significantly different in color, tone, color arrangement, pattern, material type, material combination, detail, top and bottom items, and fashion style. Burberry men's wear maintains Burberry's traditional design identity with achromatic colors, beige-based colors, and beige checks. Christopher Bailey's design direction is characterized by modernity in a casual mood that emphasizes practicality. The design direction of Riccardo Tisci is characterized by a wide gap between images in a semi-formal style that emphasizes Burberry's tradition and a free-spirited casual style.

패턴인식은 주위 환경을 관찰하는 방법, 배경으로부터 관심있는 패턴을 구분하는 방법, 소리를 얻는 방법, 그리고 패턴 범주들 중에서 타당한 결정을 얻는 방법에 관한 연구이다. 패턴인식 시스템을 설계할 때 필수적으로 1) 데이터의 획득과 전처리, 2) 데이터의 표현, 3) 결정방법 선택과 같은 세 가지 사항을 고려해야한다. 그 이유는 영상을 획득하기 위한 센서의 선택, 전처리 기법, 표현 기법, 의사결정 모델에 따라 인식의 결과가 달라질 수 있기 때문이다. 컬러영상은 다양한 컬러 패턴으로 구성된다. 대부분의 패턴인식 방법은 훈련되어진 컬러정보를 사용하여 컬러의 특징을 추출한다. 본 논문은 몇 가지 제한된 컬러를 가진 영상으로부터 특정한 컬러 패턴을 적응적으로 추출한다. 컬러 패턴의 수가 한정되어 있기 때문에 영상에서 컬러의 분포가 유사하다. 그러나, 영상에 잡음이나 열화가 존재하면, 그 분포가 변화한다. 그러므로 이미 알고 있는 컬러정보를 가지고 특정한 컬러의 특징을 추출할 수 없다. 그래서 본 논문에서는 유사한 컬러 패턴을 가진 영상에 대하여 특정한 컬러의 특징을 적응적으로 추출함으로서 인식의 오류를 감소시킬 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 실험하기 위하여 열화가 적은 표본영상을 사용하고, 잡음과 열화가 포함된 여섯 가지의 검사영상을 사용한다. 결론적으로 제안한 방법이 통계적인 패턴인식의 결과보다 정확한 결과를 보여준다.

This study investigated that grasped the present state of high-rise apartment on Urban Street color, through the color image estimation effect of primary factor on color image preference. The range of study were high-rise apartment on Urban Street color of land for housing, Sangmu, Woonnam, Shinchang, Pungam, Ilgok, Moonheung district. The method of study put out a model of reference after photography a spot colorimeter BIB test. And the data analyzing was factor analysis, multi regression through Semantic Differential Method, questionnaire. The result of study, the present state of color was used predominate, support color is YR, Y, and stress color is YR, R. Predominate color showed distribution of high luminosity, low freshness and assistance, stress color is middle luminosity, low freshness. And effects of primary factor on color image preference were 'unification', 'comfortableness', 'sophistication'. The result of this study showed that need high luminosity color for comfortableness to improve of high-rise apartment on Urban Street color, harmony of color, harmony of vertical horizontality color scheme pattern, consult square rate of stress color.

The analysis results of the characteristics of children's clothes for school girls from the 2006S/S-2010S/S collections reveal that the most frequent type of item composition was 2'PS & 3'PS. T-shirts were the popular kind of item for upper garments and pants for lower garments. The major silhouettes were H and A line. The predominant neckline was U, which was followed by camisole and V. The major collar styles were stand-up and flat. Chromatic colors were used more than achromatic ones and after white the most popular colors were blue, pink, red, black, navy, and green. The dominant color scheme was a two-color or three-color scheme. The percentage of solid and patterned material garments was the highest and the most popular pattern was flowers. The most popular style of garment had no decorative detail that was followed by one-item, two-item, and three-item decoration. The major kinds of decorative detail were frills, pleats, and prints.

본 논문에서는 컬러 영상을 위한 하이브리드(hybrid) 디지털 워터마킹 기법을 제안한다. 즉, 두 개의 워터마크가 주파수 영역과 공간 영역 상에 각각 삽입된다. 첫 번째 워터마크는 영상 데이터를 DW(discrete wavelet transform)를 사용하여 주파수 공간으로 변환한 후, 인간의 시각이 밝기에 민감하지 않다는 사실을 이용하여 컬러 영상의 밝기(luminance) 성분에 대역확산(spread-spectrum) 방법으로 워터마크를 삽입한다. 삽입되는 워터마크는 유사난수 패턴(pseudo-random pattern)을 사용하며 워터마크 검출시에는 상관도(correlation)를 이용하여 워터마크를 추출한다. 두 번째 워터마크는 첫 번째 워터마크가 클로핑(cropping)과 같은 기하학적 공격(geometrical of attack)에 취약한 점을 보완하기 위해 삽입한다. 영상의 공간 영역에서 블루 채널 상에 두 번째 워터마크가 삽입되며, 이때 영상의 특징점의 픽셀값을 입력 값으로 하여 해쉬함수의 출력값을 구한다. 따라서 두 번째 워터마크는 영상의 위 변조를 판별할 수 있는 tamper defection의 기능을 한다.

This paper presents an image fingerprinting scheme for the print-to-capture model performed by a photo printer and digital camera. When capturing an image by a digital camera, various kinds of distortions such as noise, geometrical distortions, and lens distortions are applied. slightly and simultaneously. In this paper, we consider several steps to extract fingerprints from the distorted image in print-and capture scenario. To embed ID into an image as a fingerprint, multi-bits embedding is applied. We embed 64 bits information as a fingerprint into spatial domain of color images. In order to restore a captured image from distortions a noise reduction filter is performed and a rectilinear tiling pattern is used as a template. To make the template, a multi-bits fingerprint is embedded repeatedly like a tiling pattern. We show that the extracting is successful from the image captured by a digital camera through the experiment.

This study compared and analyzed the direction of Louis Vuitton creative directors Kim Jones and Virgil Abloh. Accordingly, 485 photos(251 Kim Jones, 234 Virgil Abloh) were collected. For data analysis, statistical and content analyses were combined. First, as for the overall design characteristics of creative director Kim Jones, complex colors, colorful barrels, tone-in-tone color schemes, H-line, plain fabrics, soft materials, heterogeneous material combinations, casual style. Second, as for the overall design characteristics of creative director Virgil Abloh, achromatic color, colorful tone, tone-on-tone color scheme, I-line, plain fabric, soft material, similar material combination, casual style. There were significant differences in color, tone, color scheme, silhouette, pattern, material type, material combination, fashion image, detail, trimming, top and bottom that differed in the creative directors' design direction. Therefore, it appears that Kim Jones has been directing the luxurious and unique men's wear through H-line, coat and slim pants, colorful color combination, soft material, heterogeneous material combination, plain fabric, and chic active sensibility. Meanwhile, Virgil Abloh is directing men's wear in a loose and trendy street mood through the I-line, jacket and wide pants, achromatic color, soft material, plain fabric, similar material combinations, and soft and sophisticated modern sensibility.

효율적인 저차원의 인덱싱을 제공하기 위해 이미지를 유사한 성질을 갖는 영역으로 나누고, 나누어진 영역에 대해 유사성을 비교하는 영역 기반 이미지 검색이 제안되었다. 그러나 영역 기반 이미지 검색은 이미지를 유사한 영역으로 나누기 위한 이미지 세그멘테이션 기술이 추가적으로 필요하다. 일반적인 칼라 자연 이미지의 경우 다양한 칼라와 질감 성분을 갖는 영역으로 나누는 것은 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 자동적인 칼라 이미지 세그멘테이션 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 세그멘테이션 방법은 양자화를 통해 칼라수를 줄이고 양자화 된 이미지를 Fisher의 클래스 선형 판별식을 이용하여 이미지의 전체적인 에지를 보여주는 그레이 레벨 이미지를 생성한다. 이렇게 얻은 그레이 레벨 에지 이미지를 지역적 임계치 비교를 통해 이진 에지 이미지로 변환하고 이진 에지의 끊어진 부분을 찾아내어 인접 에지에 연결하여 영역을 생성한다. 마지막으로 나누어진 영역간의 유사성을 비교하고 유사한 영역을 병합하여 최종 세그멘테이션 결과 이미지를 생성한다. 본 논문에서는 세그멘테이션 알고리즘을 이용한 영역 기반 이미지 검색 시스템을 구현하였으며, 다양한 실험에 의하면 제안한 세그멘테이션 방법이 다양한 이미지에 대하여 양질의 세그멘테이션 결과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

본 논문에서는 저가형 CSTN-LCD(Color Super-Twisted Nematic Liquid Crystal Display)에 사용하는 동영상 프로세서를 제안한다. 제안된 프로세서는 SFP(SubFrame Pattern) 기법을 적용하여 계조 확장을 할 뿐 아니라 플리커(flicker)현상을 제거하였고 BFI(Black Field Insertion) 기법을 적용하여 액정의 응답시간을 보상하였다. 그리고 화질 향상을 위한 에지 강조 기법과 보간기법을 적용하였다. 하드웨어 구조는 FPGA 프로토타입 보드를 사용하여 검증하였다. 제안된 동영상 프로세서는 PDA(Personal Digital Assistants), 모바일 폰과 PMP(Portable Multimedia Player) 등에 사용되어 질 수 있다.
