Black polymer spacers are currently used for physically separating aligned camera lenses in camera modules of mobile phones. However, the mechanical properties of polymer spacers have their limits, especially in the current trend of using more lenses in thinner camera modules. Thus, copper (Cu) becomes a good candidate for those polymer spacers because of its superior mechanical properties and its inherent blackness due to its black surfaced oxides, such as copper (II) oxide (cupric oxide, CuO). The latter property is critical in quality control because the closer the color of a spacer is to black, the less light interference and flaring phenomena can occur. A standard Cu blackening process and its operational conditions were proposed in this study through a comprehensive analysis of previous research and patents. The Cu blackening process is composed of cleaning, deoxidizing, activating, blackening and sealing. The effects of operational parameters, such as the temperature of each unit process and the activator concentration, were then investigated by measuring the blackness of the Cu strips with a colorimeter. The proposed operational conditions were determined by whether the blackness of Cu strips was within the on-spec. value used in the field.

Objective: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of using low energy diet with multi-enzymes supplementation on different biological parameters in broilers. Methods: Three hundred Arbor Acres broiler chicks were randomly divided into three groups (Cont, standard metabolizable energy(ME); L-ME, ME reduced by 50 kcal/kg without enzyme; and L-ME-MES, L-ME diet was supplemented with multi-enzymes) with five replicates per group (20 chicks per replicate) at the start of second week. Grower and finisher diets were formulated according to breed specific guide and offered with free access in respective phase (two weeks for grower [8 to 21 d]; two weeks for finisher [22 to 35 d]). External marker method was used to measure the nutrient digestibility. After feeding trial, fifteen birds (one bird per replicate) were selected randomly and slaughtered for samples collection. Results: The results exhibited no effect (p>0.05) of dietary treatments on all parameters of growth performance, carcass traits, relative weight of internal organs except bursa and overall parameters of thigh meat quality. Relative weight of bursa was significantly (p<0.05) higher in L-ME than control. Multi-enzymes supplementation in low-ME diet significantly (p<0.05) improved the breast meat pH 24 h, digestibility of crude protein, duodenum weight and length, jejunal morphology, counts of Lactobacillus spp. and Bifidobacterium spp., lipase and protease activities than control. Jejunum length was increased in both L-ME and L-ME-MES treatments than that of the control (p<0.05). Breast meat cooking loss and color lightness was lower in L-ME (p<0.05) than control. Conclusion: It can therefore be concluded that broilers could be reared on low energy diet with supplementation of multi-enzymes without compromising the growth performance. In addition, it is beneficial for other biological parameters of broilers.

Chrysnathemum stunt viroid (CSVd), a small, single-stranded, infectious RNA, has caused a severe problem in chrysanthemum in the world. In Korea, since CSVd was firstly observed in 1997, the disease has been spread throughout the whole country rapidly. In spite of the seriousness, few methods for control of CSVd have been known without prevention. The use of resistant cultivars is one of the most efficient approaches for overcoming CSVd disease in chrysanthemum cultivation. This study was carried out to identify chrysanthemum genetic resources for the resistance to chrysanthemum stunt viroid (CSVd). A total of 192 commercial cultivars including 167 spray and 25 standard chrysanthemum were screened with CSVd through grafting inoculation method. In most of the inoculated cultivars, typical disease symptoms, stunting of plant height, reduced flower size, and flower color bleaching, were induced. Several cultivars, however, were symptomless or showed delay in symptom expression. Of 192 chrysanthemum cultivars, two cultivars with less than 5% of the average reduction rate of plant height, 'Chiwerel' and 'Jeongheungdaesin', were rated as resistant. And six cultivars less than 20% inculding 'Inga' were rated as moderate resistant. The remaining 184 cultivars with a high level of reduction were rated as susceptible. We expect that these genetic resources can be used in crossbreeding programs for developing CSVd resistant cultivars of chrysanthemum.

Bullets flying with a light from the back are called "tracers". Tracers are ignited by the combustion gas of the propellant and emit bright light that allows the shooter to visually trace the flight path. Therefore, tracers mark the firing point for allies to assist shooters to hit target quickly and accurately. Conventional tracers are constructed with a mixture of an oxidizing agent, raw metal, and organic fuel. Upon ignition, the inside of the gun can be easily contaminated by the by-products, which can lead to firearm failure during long-term shooting. Moreover, there is a fire risk such as forest fires due to residual flames at impact site. Therefore, it is necessary to develop non-combustion type luminous material; however, this material must still use the heat generated from the propellant, so-called "thermoluminescence (TL)". This study aims to compare the TL emission of Dy3+, La3+ and Ho3+ doped MgB4O7 phosphors prepared by solid state reaction. The crystal structures of samples were determined by X-ray diffraction and matched with the standard pattern of MgB4O7. Luminescence of various doses (200 ~ 15,000 Gy) of gamma irradiated Dy3+, La3+ and Ho3+ (at different concentrations of 5, 10, 15 and 20 %) doped MgB4O7 were recorded using a luminance/color meter. The intensity of TL yellowish (CIE x = 0.401 ~ 0.486, y = 0.410 ~ 0.488) emission became stronger as the temperature increased and the total gamma-ray dose increased.
Recently, with the development of computer graphics technology, research on technology for expressing real objects as more realistic virtual graphics is being actively conducted. Point cloud is a technology that uses numerous points, including 2D spatial coordinates and color information, to represent 3D objects, and they require huge data storage and high-performance computing devices to provide various services. Video-based Point Cloud Compression (V-PCC) technology is currently being studied by the international standard organization MPEG, which is a projection based method that projects point cloud into 2D plane, and then compresses them using 2D video codecs. V-PCC technology compresses point cloud objects using 2D images such as Occupancy map, Geometry image, Attribute image, and other auxiliary information that includes the relationship between 2D plane and 3D space. When increasing the density of point cloud or expanding an object, 3D calculation is generally used, but there are limitations in that the calculation method is complicated, requires a lot of time, and it is difficult to determine the correct location of a new point. This paper proposes a method to generate additional points at more accurate locations with less computation by applying 2D interpolation to the image on which the point cloud is projected, in the V-PCC technology.
To obtain the basic informations on quality improvement, seed protein and amino acid composition were analyzed in 460 strains of perilla germplasm. Among the tested strains, total protein content ranged from 17.9% to 28.1 % with the 23.6% of varietal means. Form the experiment, Namji, Sandong, and Eunjin were selected as high protein strains of which content was as high as 28.1%. In protein content, collected strains from Jeonnam province showed highest, and was not significantly different by maturity, but this characteristics showed differences by seed coat color and 1,000 seed weight. The significantly negative correlation was observed between protein content and seed setting ratio. However it was observed that significant and high positive correlation between protein and oil content. A calibration for an Infra-Alyzer 450 using log reflectance readings at 2208, 1982, 1940 and 1722nm could be used without adjustment for the measurment of the protein content in perilla with a standard deviation of differences against micro-kjeldahl of 0.27%. The amino acid composition of perilla was similar to the other oilseed crops, and showed a relatively high lysine and methionine content. Further, amino acid composition of perilla seed was exellently characterized with bal ance and higher than FAO recommendation. Major amino acids were indentified as a glutamic acid and arginine in perilla seed protein.

Four roe protein isolates (RPIs) from olive flounder Paralichthys olivaceus roes (OFR) were recovered by isoelectric solubilization (pH 11 and 12) and precipitation (pH 4.5 and 5.5) and investigated for their food characteristics. RPIs contained 4.5-9.6% moisture, 64.1-69.5% protein, 16.1-19.8% lipid, and 1.0-3.9% ash. The protein yields of RPIs ranged from 50.1 to 56.8%, which was significantly different depending on the recovery conditions. A difference was observed in the SDS-PAGE protein band (25-100 kDa) between the alkaline solubilization at pH 11 (RPI-1 and 2) and pH 12 (RPI-3 and 4). The major amino acids of RPIs were Leu, Lys, Asp, Glu and Ala and major mineral components were sulfur, sodium, phosphorus, and magnesium, which were significantly different from OFR (P<0.05). Additionally, the lead and cadmium content was below the chemical hazard standard of the Korean food standards code. The Hunter color and whiteness of RPIs also showed significant differences according to the treatment conditions of the ISP process (P<0.05). This suggests that protein isolates recovered from olive flounder roes have high potential as nutritional supplements.

Corrosion inside electronic packages significantly impacts the system performance and reliability, necessitating non-destructive diagnostic techniques for system health management. This study aims to present a non-destructive method for assessing corrosion in copper interconnects using the Smith chart, a tool that integrates the magnitude and phase of complex impedance for visualization. For the experiment, specimens simulating copper transmission lines were subjected to temperature and humidity cycles according to the MIL-STD-810G standard to induce corrosion. The corrosion level of the specimen was quantitatively assessed and labeled based on color changes in the R channel. S-parameters and Smith charts with progressing corrosion stages showed unique patterns corresponding to five levels of corrosion, confirming the effectiveness of the Smith chart as a tool for corrosion assessment. Furthermore, by employing data augmentation, 4,444 Smith charts representing various corrosion levels were obtained, and artificial intelligence models were trained to output the corrosion stages of copper interconnects based on the input Smith charts. Among image classification-specialized CNN and Transformer models, the ConvNeXt model achieved the highest diagnostic performance with an accuracy of 89.4%. When diagnosing the corrosion using the Smith chart, it is possible to perform a non-destructive evaluation using electronic signals. Additionally, by integrating and visualizing signal magnitude and phase information, it is expected to perform an intuitive and noise-robust diagnosis.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychological reaction to the image of the worship space in the church buildings and to quantify its contribution of the stimulation elements causing such reaction, and finally to suggest basic data for realizing emotional worship space of the church architecture. For this, 143 christians were surveyed to analyze the relationship between 23 emotional expressions extracted from the worship space and 32 images of the worship space. The combined data was described with the two dimensional dispersion using the quantification theory III. The analysis found out that 'simplicity-complexity' of the image consisted of the horizontal axis (the x-axis) and 'creativity' of the image the vertical axis(the y-axis). In addition, to extract the causal relationship between the value of emotional reaction and its stimulation elements quantitatively, the author indicated 4 emotional word groups such as simple, sublime for x-axis and typical creative for y-axis based on its similarity by the cluster analysis, The quantification theory I was also used with total value of equivalent emotional words as the standard variance and the emotional stimulation elements of the worship space as the independent variance. 9 specific examples of the emotional stimulation elements were selected including colors and shapes of the wall and the ceiling, shapes and finish of the floor materials, window shapes, and the use of the symbolic elements. Furthermore, 31 subcategories were also chosen to analyse their contribution on the emotional reaction. As a result, the color and finish of the wall found to be the most effective element on the subjects' emotional reaction, while the symbolic elements and the color of the wall found to be the least effective. It is estimated that the present study would be helpful to increase the emotional satisfaction of the users and to approach a spatial design through satisfying the types and purposes of the space.
In this research, we specify the image consumers' preferred image quality ranges based on objective image quality evaluation factors and follow a method which measures preference of the natural image scenes. In other words, according to No-Reference, we select dynamic range, color, and contrast as factors of image quality measurements. For collecting sample images, we choose the preferred 200 landscapes which have over 30 recommendations by image consumers on the internet photo gallery. According to the scores of three objective factors of image quality measurements, the final expected score which means the image quality preference is measured and its total score is 100 points. In the main test, the actual image sample shows dynamic range 10 stop, LAB mean value L:54.7, A:2.96, B:-15.84, and RSC contrast 376.9. Total 200 image samples' normal distribution z value represents in dynamic range 0.21, LAB mean value L:0.15, A:0.38, B:0.13, and RSC contrast 0.08. In the standard normal distribution table, we can convert the z value as a percentage; dynamic range is 8.32%, LAB mean value is L:5.96%, A:14.8%, B:5.17%, and RSC contrast is 3.19%. And then, we convert the percentage values into the scores of 100; dynamic range is 91.68, LAB mean value is 91.36, and RSC contrast is 96.81. Therefore, we can conclude that the sample image's total mean score is 94.99 based on three objective image quality factors. Throughout our proposed image quality assessment model, we can measure the preference value of natural scenes. Also, we can specify the preferred image quality representation ranges and measure the expected image quality preference.
