The purposes of this study were to identify the brand positioning of children's wear according to fashion life style and to construct brand positioning maps by using multidimensional scaling (MDS). A total of 222 responses were collected from married women aged 25 to 35 through questionnaire. Cluster analysis on fashion life style factors identified three groups: Fashion Indifference group (34%), Fashion & Individuality Oriented group (27%) and Rationality Oriented group (37%). ANOVA revealed significant differences among the three groups on the six fashion life style factors. MDS analysis showed that three segmented groups evaluated nine children's wear brand for seven attributes(color, design, price, utility, quality, brand name, fashion).

The purpose of this study was to investigate preferences in materials and design types for golf-wear to get some information of consumers. Market research was employed for judgement sampling using non-probability methods. Questionnaires were distributed to 600 golf players at three locations (Kangnam in Seoul, Kangbuk in Seoul, and Kyunggido), and were subjected statistical analysis using the SAS program. The results of this study are as follows: people considered "design/color" the most, "comfort sensation" the second, "brand name" the third when they purchase golf wear. Also we realized that there was a significant difference in brand awareness according to age, gender and area variables.ge, gender and area variables.

1998년 대전의 비닐하우스에서 재배중인 칼란코에의 잎에 세균병이발생하였다. 이들 병반은 수침상 병반이 나타나고 병반진전과 함께 무름증상을 보였다. 이들로부터 분리한 병원세균을 침접종한 결과 자연병징과 같은 병반을 형성하였다. 병원세균의 세균학적 특성을 조사한 결과 E. herhicola로 동정되었다. 국내에서는 아직 칼란코에 (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana)의 병원세균으로 E. herbicola가 보고되지 않았다. 따라서 이를 E. herbicola에 의한 \"칼란코에의 세균성 무름병\"으로 명명할 것을 제안한다.할 것을 제안한다.

Triadenum breviflorum (Wallich ex Dyer) Y. Kimura in Nakai & Honda (Hypericaceae), previously known only in northeast India, China and Taiwan, was found in a few wetlands of Jeju Island in 2008. Additionally, some images online of T. breviflorum suggest that it exists in other places on the Korean peninsula but that it has been misidentified as Triadenum japonicum. This species is distinguished from the latter by white petals, inflorescence from nodes 6-11, linear to narrowly elliptic leaves, and an attenuated base. The local name Huin-kkot-mul-go-chu-na-mul implies a white flower rather than the flesh-pink color of T. japonicum. The morphological characteristics of the species are provided with photographs of the habitat.

A new distribution of Trichosanthes cucumeroides (Ser.) Maxim. ex Franch. & Sav. is discovered in Korea. This species was collected from forest margins on Ando Island, Ando-ri, Nam-myeon, Yeosu-si, in Jeollanam-do. T. cucumeroides is clearly distinguished from other species of the genus by having three- or five-lobed leaf blades, linear-lanceolate and minute bracts with entire margins, and oblong to triangular-ovoid seeds. Here, we provide precise description, a taxonomic key to the Korean Trichosanthes species, illustrations, and photographs of its habitat. The Korean name for the species is established as 'Bul-geun-ha-neul-ta-ri' considering the reddish color of its fruit.

The purpose of this study was to compare consumers' evaluation, evaluation criteria and complaint factors on the department stores' private brand apparel with consumers' responses on the department stores' manufacturer brand apparel. 564 subjects were gathered in Seoul and Kyunggi province and, for data analysis, mean, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Factor Analysis were conducted. The results are as follows; 1. Among the purchasing groups, there weer significant differences in apparel evaluation according to fabric, style, sewing, suitability, versatility, washability, price and color. 2. Among the purchasing group, there were significant differences in apparel evaluation criteria according to fabric, fashionability, sewing, brand name, department store' credibility. 3. The differences in complaint factors of apparel among the purchasing groups were due to factors such s high quality, variety, price and size. there were significant differences in complaint factors of apparel according to the subjects' age.

망둑어과 (Family Gobiidae)에 속하는 Gymnogobius taranetzi 25개체가 강원도 삼척시와 양양군의 기수역에서 채집되었다. 본 종은 형태적으로 망둑어과의 다른 꾹저구속 종들과 유사하나 양안 사이의 안견갑관이 감각공기열로 대체되어 전안견갑관 개공 C가 없으며, 산란기의 암컷은 체측에 황색의 가로띠가 나타나는 특정을 갖고 있는 점에서 구별된다. 본 종은 동해연안에 분포하는 점을 들어 국명을 "동해날망둑"이라고 명명하였다.

This is a study regarding the development of cultural products with applied traditional Saekdong-image. The objective of this study is to develop unique cultural products which combine traditional korean images with modern feel by utilizing traditional Saekdong-image. Saekdong has been an object of deep attachment and regarded as a tool for expressing korean images from ancient times to the present. Chosun dynasty shows a wonderful growth of fashion not only in dress but also in such accessories as patchwork wrapping-cloth and Saekdong, which imply a lot on formation or color arrangement. Approximately 24 pieces of cultural products that can be used in daily life were created using Saekdong, including traffic or credit card cases, name card cases, pouches, coin purses, bags, Vest, teapot wrapping-cloth, brooch. After design plans were made for each works, natural dyes were used to dye(dip dyeing) the fabrics(cotton, silk, linen) by theme. In addition, the increased quality of the products will be a competitive edge in the world market where products compete with no national bounds.

우리나라 제주도 남부 연안역에서 채집된 317개체 (체장 32.3~71.5mm)를 근거로 청베도라치과 한국미기록종인 Omobranchus loxozonus를 기재 보고한다. 본 종의 특징은 등지느러미 기조수가 XII~XIV, 19~22, 뒷지느러미 기조수 II, 22~24, 독특한 체색패턴을 갖는 점이며, 신한국명으로 '구름베도라치'를 제안한다

Aconitum Uchiyamai NAKAI "geu-neul-dol-che-gi"(Ranunculaceae), is geographically distributed only in Korea. An aconite collected at Mt. Dukwoo, Kangwon-Do flowers with white color in October. The aconite is different from Aconitum Uchiyamai NAKAI from the point of anatomical and morphological views in transplanted and collected aconites. Being a new variety of Aconitum Uchiyamai NAKAI, this aconite is anounced under the name of Aconitum Uchiyamai NAKAI var. albiflorum CHUNG et RIM, "Hin-geu-neul-dol-che-gi" called in Korea. Aconitum Uchiyamai NAKAI var. albiflorum CHUNG et RIM Differt a planta Aconitum Uchiyamai NAKAI per colorem album.
