경계선 검출에 대한 인접 칼라 영역간 테두리 선 삽입 효과의 분석 (Analyses of the Effect of Inserting Border Lines between Adjacent Color Regions on Detecting Boundaries)

  • 이 논문은 에지 검출을 위해 다른 컬러 영역사이의 테두리선을 삽입한 효과를 분석한다. 컬러코드를 인식하는 새로운 알고리즘을 제안하지는 않는다. RFID 방식을 보상하고, 디지털 카메라의 이용률이 높아져서 컬러코드에 대한 관심이 매우 증가하고 있다. 그러나 컬러의 왜곡이 심해지면 컬러코드의 확산을 저하시키게 된다. 왜곡된 컬러의 효과를 감소시키기위해서 영역내 화소 각각의 특성보다 각 영역 전체의 화소를 통계적으로 처리하는 방법이 바람직하다. 이 처리를 위해서 영상 영역화가 필요하다. 연결되지 않은 에지를 검출하기 위해 인접 컬러 영역사이에 2 화소 크기의 테두리선을 삽입한다. 테두리선은 흰색, 검은색 경계선이 사용된다. 2 종류의 테두리선이 삽입된 영상에 대한 에지 검출이 수행되고, 그 결과가 테두리선이 삽입되지 않은 에지 검출 결과와 비교한다. 검은 테두리선을 삽입한 결과는 지퍼효과에 의해 에지 검출 능력이 저하되고, 흰 테두리선을 삽입한 결과는 삽입하지 않은 경우보다 에지 검출 능력이 향상되었다.

  • 남아있는 자연치아와 어울릴 수 있도록 치과의사와 치과기공사는 최선의 노력을 다한다. 기능성과 심미성을 완벽하게 재현한 세라믹은 큰 감동을 환자에게 전달해 주고 있다. 그러나 쉽지 않은 문제들을 극복해내야 한다. 서로 다른 두 물체가 완벽하게 같은 스펙트럼 곡선을 가지는 일은 거의 있을 수 없다. 스펙트럼 곡선과 반사율은 물체만의 고유한 특징이다. 지문과 같다고 할 수 있다 그렇기에 우리가 보통 색을 맞춰준다라고 이야기하는 것은 스펙트럼 곡선을 동일화 하는 것이 아니라 우리가 인지하는 색의 조합을 같은 것으로 만들어 주는 조건 등색 과정을 이해해야 한다. 즉, 우리 분야에서 살펴 보자면 색을 맞추려는 환자의 자연치아와 세라믹이 우리 망막의 원추체를 같은 조합으로 자극하게 맞춰주는 과정이다.

이산 웨이블릿 변환과 명암도 동시발생 행렬을 이용한 컬러 레이저프린터 판별 알고리즘 (Color Laser Printer Identification through Discrete Wavelet Transform and Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix)

  • 고성능 저가의 디지털 인쇄기기의 출현으로 불법적인 위변조가 사회적인 문제로 대두되고 있고, 이를 해결하기 위해서 디지털 포렌식 기술이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 컬러 디지털 인쇄기기를 판별하기 위한 디지털 포렌식 기술을 제안한다. 컬러 디지털 인쇄기기는 제조사마다 인쇄방법이 다르기 때문에, 출력물에 작은 차이가 존재한다. 이와 같은 차이점을 활용하면, 임의의 주어진 출력물에 대해 어떠한 인쇄기기로 출력되었는지 구별이 가능하다. 제안하는 방법에서는 차이점을 구별하기 위하여 출력물을 스캔한 디지털 이미지에 대해 이산 웨이블릿 변환을 수행하여 계산한 고주파 영역을 추출한다. 이에 대해 명암도 동시발생 행렬을 계산한 후에 행렬 데이터의 표준편차, 첨도, 왜도, 공분산, 상관계수의 특징을 추출하였다. 추출된 특징을 서포트 벡터 머신 분류기에 적용하여 디지털 인쇄기기를 판별하였다. 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 분석하기 위하여 총 2,597장 이미지와 7대 프린터(HP, Canon, Xerox DCC400, Xerox DCC450, Xerox DCC5560, Xerox DCC6540, Konica)를 가지고, 기존 알고리즘과 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과에 따르면 제안한 알고리즘은 컬러 디지털 인쇄기기를 판별하는데 있어서 평균 96.9% 정확률을 보였다.

블랙 페티시 패션의 조셩성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Formative Features of Black Fetish Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning and formative features of the black color reflected on the fetish fashion. This study was proceeded mainly by analyzing with references and plates of magazine. The results of the study were as follows ; First, the sexual liberation and revolution have certainly led to a reassessment of sexual deviations, which changed the meaning of fetishism that has been only regarded as sexual perversion, so that it symbolied a new sexual perception and identification. As the result, black in fetish fashion was symbolized a new fetishism\`s definition which refused to distinguish male from female, and also reflected the meaning to express the second sex that wanted to express themselves. Second, the formative features of black color in fetish fashion have appeared tightness and bareness in form, and in material, glancing materials changed by the effect of light, and elasticity materials-leather, rubber, PVC, and laycra. By these features, black fetish fashion has drawn a higher attention on human body than the dress itself as a symbol about the psychology of erotic sensations and sexual images of the self appearing in black color.

A CATALOG OF AGB STARS IN IRAS PSC

  • We make a new catalog of AGB stars in our Galaxy from the sources listed in the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) point source catalog (PSC) compiling the lists of previous works with verifying processes. We verify the class identification of AGB stars into oxygen-rich and carbon-rich stars using the information from recent investigations. For the large sample of AGB stars, we present infrared two-color diagrams from the observations at near infrared bands and IRAS PSC. On the two-color diagrams, we plot the tracks of theoretical radiative transfer model results with increasing dust shell optical depths. Comparing the observations with the theoretical tracks, we discuss the meaning of the infrared two-color diagrams.

The Roots and Drivers of the Color-based Polarizations in Thailand

  • What is the basis of the political polarization in Thailand? What are the key differences between the opposing camps? This paper aims to answer these questions at the individual level, using a national survey conducted by the authors between July and August 2017. The paper argues that the color-based polarizations in Thailand are significant and deeply rooted in a complicated array of demographic, attitudinal, and political dimensions. That is, despite their relative differences in demographics and socioeconomic status, the Yellow Shirt and Red Shirt supporters differ in party identification and democratic values. This finding indicates that the struggle between the conflicting groups in this country is not just about competing interests, but about the identities and basic values underlying the "rules of the political game."

부식 검출과 분석에 적용한 영상 처리 기술 동향 (Trends in image processing techniques applied to corrosion detection and analysis)

  • Corrosion detection and analysis is a very important topic in reducing costs and preventing disasters. Recently, image processing techniques have been widely applied to corrosion identification and analysis. In this work, we briefly introduces traditional image processing techniques and machine learning algorithms applied to detect or analyze corrosion in various fields. Recently, machine learning, especially CNN-based algorithms, have been widely applied to corrosion detection. Additionally, research on applying machine learning to region segmentation is very actively underway. The corrosion is reddish and brown in color and has a very irregular shape, so a combination of techniques that consider color and texture, various mathematical techniques, and machine learning algorithms are used to detect and analyze corrosion. We present examples of the application of traditional image processing techniques and machine learning to corrosion detection and analysis.

Occurrence of crown gall of chrysanthemum caused by Agrobacterium tumefaciens.

  • Incidence of crown gall on lower stem of chrysanthemum, Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat., was first observed at Hwasung, Gyeonggi, Korea in 2001, Tumors on the stem were 1.5-2 cm in size and semi-round with rough surface texture of dark brown color. Four strains of bacteria isolated from the tumor tissues were characterized. Their colonies were convex, glistening, circular with an entire edge, and white to tannish-cream in color on PDA plus CaCO$_3$. They were gram negative, oxidase positive, and growing on DIM agar. The bacterial isolates inducing gall formation in chrysanthemum were identified as Agrobacterium tumefaciens based on biochemical and physiological characteristics, fatty acid profile using Sherlock Microbial Identification System, and substrate utilization patterns using Biolog Identification System. Young chrysanthemum plants inoculated with the bacteria developed typical galls within two to three weeks. Seedlings of tomato and slices of carrot roots also produced typical galls two to three weeks after inoculation. This is the first report on crown gall of chrysanthemum in Korea.

소 모색관련 MC1R 유전자의 SNP와 관련한 MGB probe에 기초한 real-time PCR을 이용한 한우육과 Holstein육의 판별 (Identification of Hanwoo and Holstein meat using MGB probe based real-time PCR associated with single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in Melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R) gene)

  • The melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R) plays an important role in regulation of melanin pigment synthesis within mammalian melanocytes. Mutations within the gene encoding MC1R have been shown to explain coat color variations within several mammalian species including cattle. To develope a rapid and accurate method for the identification of Hanwoo meat, we performed a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis in Melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R) gene using TaqMan$^{(R)}$ MGB probe-based real-time PCR. Two specific probes (one for Hanwoo and the other for Holstein and Black angus) were designed. At the 5' end of 2 TaqMan$^{(R)}$ MGB probes, 6-carboxyfluorescein (FAM) was labeled for Hanwoo, and VIC for Holstein and Black angus. As a result, Hanwoo samples showed FAM-positive signal only, whereas other samples showed VIC-positive. This result suggests that the TaqMan$^{(R)}$ MGB probe based real-time PCR technique would be very accurate, easy and reproducible method to discriminate between Hanwoo meat and Holstein/Black angus meat.

급성기 중풍환자의 위험요인, 경고증상, 전조증상 및 설진, 맥상, 변증과 NIHSS의 관련성 연구 (The Relationship between Risk Factors, Warning Signs, Tongue Diagnosis, Pulse Pattern, Pattern Identification and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale in Acute Stroke Patients)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to assess the relationship between risk factors, warning signs, tongue diagnosis, pulse pattern, pattern identification and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale in acute stroke patients. Methods : We studied patients hospitalized within 4 wks after their ictus who were admitted at the Internal Medical Department at Kyunghee Oriental Medical Center, Kyunghee University East-West Neo Medical Center, Kyungwon University Songpa Oriental Medical Center, Kyungwon University Incheon Oriental Medical Center, Dongguk University Ilsan Oriental Medical Center from April 2007 to August 2009. We analyzed the relationship between risk factors, warning signs, tongue diagnosis, pulse pattern, pattern identification and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale in acute stroke patients. Results : 1506 subjects were included into the final analysis. 1. In the risk factors, the NIHSS mean score of atrial fibrillation was significantly higher than non-atrial fibrillation. 2. In the warning signs, the NIHSS mean scores of weakness, loss of eyesight, dysarthria, and sensory loss were significantly higher than in the non-warning signs. 3. There were no significant differences in lifestyle, tongue fur color, pattern identification between groups. 4. In the tongue color, the NIHSS mean score of red was significantly higher than pale or pale red. 5. There were significant differences statistically between forceful/weak, fine/not fine, slippery/not slippery pulse and NIHSS score. Conclusion : The above results show the relationship between risk factors, warning signs, tongue diagnosis, pulse pattern, pattern identification and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale in acute stroke patients. These results can be utilized in the future as a basis material.
