Anthocyanins are major plant pigment and produced through phenylpropanoid pathway. In this study, anthocyanin biosynthesis mechanisms of chrysanthemum flowers were studied using 'Argus' and flower color mutant 'ARTI-purple' which were induced by 40 Gy gamma irradiation ($Co^{60}$). And, three chrysanthemums, 'Ford', 'Yeonja' and 'Orando' were additionally used as the check varieties to understand the relationship between flower color and expression patterns of genes. The expression patterns of the anthocyanin biosynthetic genes were matched with the flower color of the check varieties. High anthocyanin concentration of 'Orando' showed the high expression of anthocyanin biosynthetic genes. In the white flower of 'Ford', expressions of CHI, DFR and ANS were not identified. Despite different flower color, 'Argus' and 'ARTI-purple' showed different expression patterns compared with the check varieties. From the dot blot analysis, we screened the seven genes showing the different expressions between 'Argus' and 'ARTI-purple'.

As various materials and new methods can be used due to developments in science and expansion of thinking, modern architectural color composes extensive possibilities exceeding its physical role of the past. In particular, rather than the initial external expression, the secondary connotative interpretation is more important in interpreting architectural color. This is because color interpretation changes the meaning of space based on light. Also, the development of digital technology has shifted the use of architectural color from passive realization to a more proactive concept and value. In other words, such shift leads to a new discussion on architectural color such as non-representation, invisibility, and non-physicality as the concept of fixed time, space and movement has been weakened. This paper begins by conceptualizing the digital space, a term widely used to interpret the architectural color of digital space. And it will be categorized as non-representational architectural color, invisible architectural color, and non-physical architectural color, by combining the characteristics of digital space with the modern architecture's color examples. Digital space overcoming the space time is differently interpreted from the past color expression. Modern architecture's color which substitutes the passive view with active body takes a role delivering various axes of discussions with synaesthesia.

The purpose of this study is to expression pattern of melanogenesis associate genes on cultured melanocyte layer cells in Korean Brindle Cattle(Dark, Brindle and Yellow) were analyzed to evaluate the effects of sex hormones on the control of melanogenesis pathways. Korean Brindle Cattle(Dark, Brindle and Yellow) melanocyte in the skin cells was collected. after the addition of estrogen and testosterone, the culture was analyzed for expression of cell activity and melanin genes for 72 hours. For the analysis of estrogen in different coat color other than the melanogenesis-related genes it is increasingly yellow showed low expression. in particular, the cells of the brindle coat color is low active and expression of genes. However, the testosterone was low, the expression of cell activity inhibiting MMP-2. the expression of melanin genes actually showed a tendency to increase gradually, which is testosterone compared with the estrogen to be considered that affect the skin cell layer brindle coat color. In this study, stimulation with estrogen triggered the inhibition of MC1R of the melanocyte in brindle coat color, but testosterone is induced MC1R in melanocyte. Therefore, considered the eumelanin or phaeomelanin activation are controlled caused by differential expression of sex hormones on melanocyte in Korean Brindle Cattle.

As the very important artistic elements expressing a visual image, the color has been increasing the power of expression. But the relationship between the remarkable peculiarity of colors in accordance with other artistic elements inside the picture plane makes difficult to express an effective expression of color. In the adaptation of color as well as artistic style between & by W. Disney co. is very different each other in the manner of expression. By revealing the difference of the practical use of color and it's principle of those two works, I want to formulate a suitable use of color. In this paper, focus on how to active application of color in relationship between other artistic element and expressive peculiar of color. A right is not only the dominant component in color, but contrast also. A contrast is the most considerable element for modeling order. To emphasize expressive peculiar of color, an artist control artistic element properly and can make expressive energy of brightness & shape.

The purpose of this study is to discover the techniques and the trends of expression of modern knitwears focusing on the 1990's after. The resorts of this study is as follows: The techniques of expression of knitwears are classified by the sections on the techniques and the styles of expression. The divisions into the techniques are knitting, crochet, macrame, netting, knotting. And the divisions into upon the styles of expressions are color, pattern, texture, relief and seeing through The techniques of expression on the modern knitwears are expressed characteristic of variety and composition, are expended to the art wear by translated into art. According to a wide sense, ecology, ethnic, modern are the themes of knitwears of 1990's after. The characteristic technique of expression according to the themes are expressed by the harmony of image, yarn, color, silhouette, techniques of expression. The modern knitwears are tried by mixed and various techniques, developed to the area of art wear, escaping from simple and practical item.

This research analyzed the importance and influence of color expression on psychological and emotional changes of visual perception in the creation of art works. This research takes the element of the sky in the works of Vincent William Van Gogh, a Dutch post-Impressionist representative painter, as the basic research objective to prove the influence of color expression of the same thing on the inner emotional communication of the creator. After synthesizing the contents of previous research and investigation on Van Gogh, this research will summarize the works containing sky elements in Van Gogh's works according to his four creative stages, and select representative works for color analysis and comparison. In this paper, by comparing the colors of the same elements of the sky, we can find Van Gogh's guidance of psychological and emotional changes through the expression of colors in his works, which will play a certain inspiring role in the creation of painting art.

This study investigated the effects of costume styling, color and texture on character expression in the movies "All About My Wife" and "Marriage Blue". As a study method, the main scenes were captured from the DVD image and the costumes of the main characters were analyzed to examine how the costumes express the personality change according to the story development of the characters. The characters in "All About My Wife" and "Marriage Blue" were studied to see how their personality changes as the story develops and how the costume supports the personality change of those characters. It was checked that costume contributes to effectively deliver the emotion of the characters to audience. In the movies, costume plays an important role in completing the character, and styling, color, and texture of the costume are one of the important means of expression. In a movie, costumes, styling, color, and texture contribute towards development of each character's character. And these elements act synergistically by acting simultaneously rather than independently, thus defining the image of the costume and playing a role in building characters. Movie directors persuade the audience by expressing their intentions in various ways. Among them, movie costume is one of the most effective expression tools. The styling, color, and texture of the clothes are practical and effective methodology that will create a character, so I hope that the field of film art will be researched extensively in the future.

The purposes of the study were to efplain the independent influences of Asthetic Expression and Fashion on aesthetic evaluation in the clothing, to examine which in more important aesthetic components such as line/style, color, textile and detail in aesthetic evaluation in the clothing. Data were obtained from 221 female students living in Seoul area by eight photo-graphs of clothed bodies and a questionnaire. The data were analysied by Pearson's correlation, Analysis of valiables, scheffe-test and Regression analysis. The results of the study were as follows; 1. In the aesthetic evaluation of clothing, the $59.30\%$ of the total variance was explained by Aesthetic Expression, the $20.91\%$ of the total variance was explained by Fashion and $59.68\%$ of the total variance were explained by Aesthetic Expression and Fashion. More important variable of aesthetic evaluation was found to be an Aesthetic Expression. 2. Among aesthetic components such as line/style, color, textile and detail in aesthetic evaluation of the clothing, such general aspects as color and line/style were perceived at first and then specific ones like textile and detail.

The causes of noise generation according to the classification of indoor spaces are very diverse. Individual happiness is infringed by this noise. In this paper, We tried to visualize the spatial sound characteristics of public places using sound color to express them so that anyone can sympathize. The noise inside a conference room of a medical device company was measured for 100 minutes, and the frequency band was divided into three different types of existing sound pressure expression units. Because the size of the noise is expressed differently depending on the situation, There are cases where there is a difference of opinion between the measurer and the researcher. This noise measurement experiment was conducted, and the sound color was applied to classify it on a log scale considering auditory characteristics. As a result of comparing this with the result expression for different loudness expression units, A specific table in different units yielded almost similar results. In addition, the sound source section for 100 minutes was divided into three analysis sections, the analysis sections were different, and the size of the energy ratio for each analysis section was divided in the form of an envelope. The characteristics of the low-frequency region of the space have a high energy ratio, and the decrease in the energy ratio according to the increase in frequency is constant and regular. You can see that conversations are possible.

The purpose of this study was to analyze characteristics of effective expression on T-shirts pattern by peirce's semiotic theory. The methods of this study was to analyze 721 T-shirts patterns in designer's collection from 2000 to 2004. The results of this study were as follows: First of all, iconic expression showed high frequency after 2000. Characteristics of effective expression were as follows: In geometric expression, repetition was presented as a symbolic sign by regular proportion and rule of dot, line, plane, irregularity, mixture of irregular dot, line, plane. Mixed expression was presented as a iconic and symbolic sign by collage, mixture of dot, line, plane, icon and letter. In iconic expression, simplification of iconic sigrl was presented as a iconic sign by simplification of form, color, texture, realistic expression using digital as a iconic sign, and symbolic face, body as a symbolic sign. Pop art's expression was presented as a iconic sign by a cartoon and commercial character and illusion was presented as a iconic sign. In letter's expression, brand logo was presented as a symbolic sign by transformation of letter's design, a symbolic sign of numeral by transformation of size, thickness, form, color. Symbolic message phrase was presented by slogan, fashion trend, brand image, descriptive indication message as a index sign by using icon or singleness. In conclusion, characteristics of effective expression on T-shirts pattern will present not only the theoretical foundation to raise the value added, but also the information about beauty sense of times, political and social value.
