The development of the electromagnetic field analysis program using auto-input method of images and drawing (영상 및 도면의 자동 입력 방식에 의한 전자장 해석 프로그램 개발)

  • If blueprint of analysis objects is not exist or this blueprint complexes, previous prediction techniques for product design have a problem that do not identify the exact physical characteristics. Even if target for analysing exists, transforming into a format that is supported by the program is a troublesome. To solve these problems, this thesis explains method for easily inputting design drawing and reducing the time of product design. In determining the physical characteristics of the target, method using color information is applied with electromagnetic analysis software to enable the analysis without relation to input type. Methods using color information to identify physical characteristic include some procedures. The first step is to number each of the colors, these colors number information includes material eigenvalues corresponding to the color. Next step analysis electromagnetic phenomena according with color information.

The Effect of Tooth Whitener on the Color and Microhardness of Human Enamel in Vitro (미백제가 법랑질 명도 변화에 미세경도에 미치는 영향)

  • Human teeth vary widely in color. Practitioner and patients are concerned with preventing and correcting discolored or dark teeth to achieve and maintain stain-free, white teeth. Tooth brushing cannot alter tooth color but it can remove adhering films and stains. The esthetics of natural dentition can be improved by bleaching and this process can be applied to intrinsically and extrinsically stained teeth. The need for a brighter, more attractive smile has made rapid growth in the market for tooth whiteners. There is no doubt these products work as whiteners, at least on mild to moderate stains, but the safety of these products are unclear. In this experiment, the effect of tooth whitener application on the color and microhardness of extracted human enamel was measured. RMS, RMT and NWT were used as tooth whiteners, and tooth paste(ETQ) and hydrogen peroxide solution(HPO) were used as controls. 35 caries-free extracted human molars were embedded and polished with the exposed enamel diameter of 4 mm. The tooth whiteners and control agents were applied according to the manufacturers' instructions or clinically simulated procedures for eight weeks, and measurements were repeated every two weeks. Value(L*) difference was measured using Differential Colorimeter(Model TC-6FX, Denshoku Co., Japan), and microhardness was measured using microhardness tester(Mitsuzawa Seiki Co., Japan). The results were as follows; 1. After application of agents for eight weeks, the Vickers hardness increased significantly in the ETQ, RMS and RMT application group(p〈0.01), and that decreased significantly in NWT application group(p〈0.01), but in HPO application group there was no significant change. The change in microhardness was greatest in NWT application group(p〈0.01). 2. After application of tooth whiteners and controls for eight weeks, the value change of toothpaste application group was significantly lower than those of other agents groups(p〈0.01), and there was no significant difference in value(L*) change among tooth whitener groups(p〉0.01). 3. The application of tooth paste and paste type tooth whitener made gradual value change, but hydrogen peroxide gel type tooth whitener and hydrogen peroxide solution made rapid value change during initial application period.

  • The purpose of this research was to analyze and improve the experiment, observing the color change under compression on the equilibrium of $2NO_2\;{\rightleftarrow}\;N_2O_4$ system, described in high school and general chemistry textbooks. Chemistry textbooks described that the reddish brown color got lighter on the compression of $2NO_2\;{\rightleftarrow}\;N_2O_4$ system. This misinterpretation was due to no consideration of $NO_2$ concentration increase by the volume decrease. In order to propose a correct interpretation, the changes of color and temperature on compression were quantitatively measured and compared with theoretical studies. In addition, an improved experiment, excluding the effect of $NO_2$ concentration increase, was proposed to observe only the color change of the net equilibrium shift.

  • Character conveys rich storytelling and various design elements. Domestic characters are changing and developing in various forms through SNS and offline sources, which are being developed in the aspect of contents industry. The purpose of this study is to find out and discuss the factors that character users are using Korean characters as storytelling and color factor. In terms of storytelling, they prefer adventure, fantasy, absurd and humorous stories. In terms of color, it seems that they prefer a character with simple and simple color/ warm color and warm / cute color composition. On the other hand, characters with a simple story, which is the main subject of early childhood education, fashion, or toys in the aspect of storytelling, are not preferred. In terms of color, it was shown that 4 or more colors were combined without a main color. These main colorless characters gave complex feelings that are not preferred. In terms of storytelling, it is necessary to develop and develop the contents of OSMU(One-source Multi use) through story development with adventure and fantasy structure. In terms of color, it is necessary to configure the user with a simple and simple color which is preferred by the users. Also, the assembly robot toy character needs to increase the satisfaction of the character through simple color composition. As a result of this study, the factors that satisfy the users in terms of storytelling and color are derived. These results will contribute to the development of theoretical aspects, storytelling aspects, and character design industry aspects. Despite the significance of the above paper, it was inevitable to limit the research on the analysis of the storytelling of specific characters, the research through the color analysis framework, the accurate data analysis on the color analysis, and the simple comparative analysis of one.

Consumption Pattern and Sensory Evaluation of Traditional Doenjang and Commercial Doenjang (재래식 된장과 시판된장의 관능적 특성 및 소비실태)

  • The study results regarding the ingredient differences, sensory characteristics, purchasing type, usage and improvement direction for home-made traditional doenjang and factory produced commercial doenjang are as follows. The L-value indicates that home-made traditional doenjang has a higher value in average than the factory produce done, and the a-value indicates the opposite. Home-made traditional doenjang had higher water content than commercial doenjang ; however the pH values of commercial doenjang and home-made were 5.34 and 5.32 respectively, which was very similar. Factory produced commercial doenjang showed higher protein content than the home-made traditional doenjang. Regarding the correlation between ingredients, there was a significantly negative relationship between the L-value and a-value but a significantly positive relationship between the L-value and b-value. There were no significant relationship with water content, pH and protein content. For the color and taste, which are the sensory characteristics, commercial doenjang showed higher value than the traditional doenjang, but for smell, the values were similar. Regarding grittiness, the factory produced commercial doenjang had bigger particles than the traditional doenjang. Preference was a bit higher in the traditional doenjang. Of the 380 study subjects, most were from 40 to 49 years old (65.5%), and the most family type were nuclear families which was a total of 400 people (69%). Moreover, the most residential type was apartment which was 355people (61.2%), and for the monthly income, more than 2,510,000won was 48.3%. For the educational background, college education was 304 people (52.4%), and high school education was 199 people, 34.3%. In the usage, most of the people eat doenjang more than once a week, and usually their parents make the doenjang. People used both commercial doenjang and home-made traditional doenjang >home-made only >factory produced commercial doenjang only in that order. The reasons for using the home-made traditional doenjang aredelicate taste and flavor>more nutritious> anti-cancer ingredients in that order. The reason they use the factory produced commercial doenjang is because they don't know how to make it at home. The things that needed to be improved in the home-made traditional doenjang are bad smell> entire quality> flavor> color in order, indicating that studies for reducing bad smell are required. The things that needed to be improved in the factory produced commercial doenjang are taste & flavor> entire quality>bad smell> color in that order, indicating that people are more concern about it tasting like home-made than the smell. From the above results, we can see that better functional doenjang should be developed for family health and to increase the consumption of the doenjang, which has good functional psychological activities, also more various types of foods that use doenjang and scientific studies to reduce the home-made doenjang smell should be continuously studied. Moreover, studies on how to make the factory produced commercial doenjang taste more like traditional doenjang should be performed.

A Study on Cerebral palsied children's Visual Perception

  • This study was to investigate the dffects of a color reversal visual perceptual training program on spastic cerebral palsied children's figure-ground discrimination disabilities and to investigate the difference between the control group and experimental group. Subjects of the study were composed of children with spastic cerebral palsy whose age varied from five to seven years old, whose I.Q. was over 70 and whose P.Q. was over 70. Implication of this study can be summarized as follows; First, Perceptual training and speech training programs should be emphasized to improve the preparative ability of spastic cerebral palsied children. Problems of perception cerebral palsied children are concerned with figure-ground discrimination disability. Second, Though it was demonstrated that color reversal visual perceptual training program can be effective through the prestudies and this study, more researches should be made to apply this kind of theory in real education environments. More interest in different color forms for training of cerebral palsied children should be taken. Third, Reprecations of the study should be considered with modified group identities(age, I.Q., P.Q.).

Variation of Emission Colors through Cross-Relaxation In $Tb^{3+}$ Doped $YAlO_3$ ($Tb^{3+}$ 첨가된 $YAlO_3$에서 Cross-Relaxation의한 발광 색변화)

  • $YAlO_3:Tb{_x}^{3+}$ has been synthesized by a combustion process and the concentration x of Tb was varied from 0.001 and 0.05 mol% per mole of $YAlO_3$. The emission optical properties on the $YAlO_3:Tb{_x}^{3+}$ have been investigated by time-resolved photoluminescence spectra and decay curves of center wavelength. The emission color changes from blue to green with increasing the $Tb^{3+}$ concentration from x= 0.001 to 0.05 mole fraction in $YAlO_3$ host. This emission color change can be explained in terms of cross-relaxation processes. Decay curves of emission intensity indicate that the type of energy transfer is donor-acceptor transition.

Digital Color Image Watermarking for HVS(Human Visual System) using Daubechies wavelet

  • The digital signal has been replaced the analog signal in most of every field of multimedia including still image, animation, and audio due to the enormous extension of computer supply and the fast development of computer network. The consumers of information are able to enjoy the abundance of information because of one of the digital signal traits that very easy to regenerate the original data. Because of the trait, however, it is very hard for the producers of information to keep the copyright with the merit of original copy in quality excellency. In this paper, the watermarking technology which inserts a RGB color watermark in color image using the visual characteristics of wavelet coefficient was proposed. As a result, the PSNR value of image was varied depending on perceptual parameter, but we can obtain 32dB as a whole.

Factors Affecting the Preventive Behavior of Cardiocerebrovascular Disease in Blue Color Workers (생산직 근로자의 심뇌혈관질환 예방실천행위에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate blue color workers' knowledge and attitudes about cardiocerebrovascular disease, and these influence on their preventive health behavior. Methods: Data were collected from 235 blue color workers using questionnaire in 'H' city. Data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 17.0 version. Results: Health behaviors for preventing cardiocerebrovascular disease were correlated positively with knowledge about cardiocerebrovascular disease. In addition, preventive behaviors for cardiocerebrovascular disease was influenced by marital status, monthly income, past history of cardiocerebrovascular disease, and knowledge about cardiovascular disease. Conclusion: Knowledge about cardiocerebrovascular disease has an effect on preventive behaviors regarding cardiocerebrovascular disease. For preventing cardiocerebrovascular disease, national campaign and health education program in each industry need to be built.

Analysis of CIELuv Color feature for the Segmentation of the Lip Region (입술영역 분할을 위한 CIELuv 칼라 특징 분석)

  • In this paper, a new type of lip feature is proposed as distance metric in CIELUV color system. The performance of the proposed feature was tested on face image database, Helen dataset from University of Illinois. The test processes consists of three steps. The first step is feature extraction and second step is principal component analysis for the optimal projection of a feature vector. The final step is Otsu's threshold for a two-class problem. The performance of the proposed feature was better than conventional features. Performance metrics for the evaluation are OverLap and Segmentation Error. Best performance for the proposed feature was OverLap of 65% and 59 % of segmentation error. Conventional methods shows 80~95% for OverLap and 5~15% of segmentation error usually. In conventional cases, the face database is well calibrated and adjusted with the same background and illumination for the scene. The Helen dataset used in this paper is not calibrated or adjusted at all. These images are gathered from internet and therefore, there are no calibration and adjustment.
