This research selected The Old Rectory, Sissinghurst and East Lambrook Manor as a case study location that is meaningful to discuss potager garden, herb garden and harvest garden, which is a topic of productive garden. This research focuses on the growth potential of Korea's rural house into a garden that embellishes decoration and appreciation. The application method through the interpretation of the case study location will be, first, organizing the shape of the flower bed and then adding additional materials along with the main materials. Second, it can increase the appreciation of productive garden through layering method and making it abundant. Third, it can be utilized well by pursuing artistic feature by combing unique color and texture of edible plants. Lastly, for the weakness of flat structure by short edible plants, vertical structure shall be utilized to provide decoration and frame. Also, by using natural materials, the ambiance of the garden can be presented.

In this study, to study the aesthetic properties of the Italy fashion, the internal fashion contents are defined according to the cultural characteristics of Italy and based on the definition, the external features are investigated. The cultural characteristic was analyzed based on the reference literatures on the Italy culture. The aesthetical properties of the contemporary Italy fashion can be analyzed as follows: ${\cdot}$ Functionalism is a feature showing the Italian cultural environment where the genuine humanism is retained. It enables the practical designs by applying details and materials that wouldn't put a limit to the movement of the human body. ${\cdot}$ Naturalism focuses on the natural beauty of the human body without any artificial forms or exaggerated ornaments. Natural texture or materials are used to express the human body itself, or to emphasize the natural aesthetic effects flowing with the human body. ${\cdot}$ Localism is the expression of folk spirit affected by the natural environment. It expresses local atmosphere by unique craftsmanship in material, pattern, color and details. Based on this result, the aesthetic properties of the contemporary France fashion, examined through ${\Iceil}$A Cultural Approach to the Aesthetic Characteristic of the 20th Century French Fashion${\rfloor}$ and those of the contemporary Italy fashion are compared.

The main purpose of this study was intended to analyze the image of N대-Expressionism represented in the late of 20th century fashion design. By the late 1960s and the early 1970s. the prevailing notion of modernity, which had pushed the limits of art beyond previous boundaries, had begun to lose its urgency. Critics called the new pluralistic era which the West was entering Post-Modern. Furthermore, the predominance of America and the New York scene is diminishing, and artistic leadership is now international. Post-Modernism dialectcally made denial of Modernism as likely as New Image Painting and Decorative Pattern Painting Art in 1970's and it was availed as a dialectcal means for the pre-diction of new comings that would be appeared at painting art in 1980's. New Image Painting has been called as Neo-Expressionism. The N대-Expressionists selected human's feature because appeared flankly, directly irregular agitation in the visual effect and they believed human's destructive and amputate body was cruelty. So they express it on the surface canvas. Under the these background, the image of Neo-Expressionism was represented in the late of 20th century fashion design such as the upside-down image of human feature, the image as ameditation on German myth and history, culture, the ecletic image is made of use a mixture of material. The properties of composition, line, color, texture, and form, common to all plastic art, are now more readily recognized and historically valued in every work. That is, individuality, humanity, and the human condition have been at the core of most Western art and Fashion design. Especially Fashion design has been one of the principal instruments used to examine our nature and to promote the notion of growth, self-understanding, and change.

본 논문에서는 쉽게 즐길 수 있는 미니 게임과 같은 콘텐츠에서 이미지 검색 기술을 이용하여 게임에 적합한 이미지를 찾을 수 있고 또한 게임 난이도를 조절할 수 있는 방법도 보여준다. 본 방법에서는 영상처리 기술에서 내용기반 영상검색 방법 중의 색상과 질감 특징 값들을 추출하는 기술을 이용한다. 본 논문에서는 이를 이용하여 미니게임인 카드 짝 맞추기 게임에서 게임 안에 사용되는 카드 이미지를 자동으로 선택하게 한다. 이때 검색 기준이 되는 이미지(시드 이미지)의 개수를 조절하여 게임의 난이도에 적용 할 수 있는 것을 보여준다. 실험을 통하여 기존의 영상검색을 이용할 경우 게임에서 부적합 할 수 있는 이미지가 검색되는 문제가 나오는데 반하여 본 논문에서는 게임에 활용하기 용이한 이미지를 검색 할 수 있다는 것을 보여준다.

콘텐트 기반 이미지 검색은 기존의 태그 또는 레이블이 있는 텍스트 기반의 검색이 아닌 이미지의 특징을 이용하여 검색하는 방법이다. 실생활 이미지 데이터는 태그나 레이블이 달려있는 경우가 많지 않기 때문에 텍스트 기반의 검색 방법을 사용하기 힘든 경우가 있다. 또한, 기존에 주로 사용되는 이미지 특징 벡터의 유사도를 사용하여 검색하는 방법은 추출 벡터의 유사도 기준으로 사용자가 의도한 결과가 나올지 확신할 수 없다. 예를 들어 사용자가 입력한 질의 이미지와 검색된 이미지들의 종류가 일치하는지의 문제가 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자가 질의 이미지의 클래스를 예상하고 결과도 동일한 클래스를 원한다는 가정에 착안하여 이미지 검색 엔진의 성능을 개선하였다. 기존의 유사도 기반의 검색에 머신 러닝 기법을 사용한 이미지 분류기를 적용하여 질의와 동일한 클래스의 결과를 찾는 방법을 제안하였으며, 그 성능을 20개 카테고리에 속하는 11,530개의 이미지로 구성되어 있는 PASCAL VOC 공개 데이터를 이용하여 검증하였다.

내용기반 이미지 검색은 색상, 질감 등의 이미지 자체의 자질들을 이용하여 검색하므로 텍스트 기반 이미지 검색의 객관성 부족과 모든 이미지에 사람이 주석을 달아야 하는 단점을 보완할 수 있는 이미지 검색 방법이다. 이러한 내용 기반 이미지 검색에서 사용되는 방식 중 SIM(Self-organizing Image browsing Map) 방식은 SOM 알고리즘을 이용하여 이미지들을 브라우징 가능한 그룹으로 맵핑하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 이미지를 검색하게 된다. 하지만 비슷한 이미지라 할지라도 이미지의 밝기, 피사체의 움직임 등에 의하여 색상 정보가 다르게 나타나게 되면 SOM 알고리즘의 학습 과정에서 유사한 이미지들을 그룹화한 노드를 BMU로 선택하지 못하고 떨어져 있는 다른 노드를 선택하게 된다. 이 경우 학습이 진행되면서 유사한 이미지들이 군집하는 과정을 거치지만 학습이 완료될 때까지 다른 유사 이미지들을 그룹화한 노드에 맵핑이 되지 못하는 경우가 발생한다. 그 결과, 검색 결과에 나타나지 못하여 적합 이미지 검색률이 낮아 질 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 HSV 색상모델을 이용하여 양자화하고 이미지의 색상 특징 벡터를 추출한 뒤 SOM 알고리즘을 이용하여 이미지들을 브라우징 가능한 그룹으로 맵핑한다. 이때 SIM 방식의 문제점인 유사 이미지가 따로 맵핑되어 적합 이미지 검색률이 낮아지는 것을 줄이기 위하여 SOM을 두 개의 층으로 구성한다. 첫 번째 층에서 이미지의 색상 자질을 이용하여 학습을 완료한 후, 학습이 완료된 첫 번째 층 맵의 각 노드들의 연결 가중치를 이용하여 두 번째 층에서 다시 한번 학습을 수행한다. 두 개의 층으로 학습이 완료된 두 번째 층의 SOM에 질의 이미지의 특징 벡터를 입력하여 BMU를 선택하고 BMU와 연결된 첫 번째 층의 노드를 최종 선택하여 이미지를 검색한다. 실험결과, 제안된 이미지 검색 방법이 기존의 이미지 검색 방법 보다 적합 이미지의 검색 성공률이 높은 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

내용기반 이미지검색이란 색상, 형태 및 질감 등의 저-수준 특징정보를 이용하여 이미지 데이터베이스를 구축하고, 이미지에 대한 검색요구가 발생했을 때 사용자가 찾고자 하는 이미지와 유사한 이미지를 제공하는 시스템으로 정의된다. 데이터베이스의 구축시간과 사용자가 질의를 입력한 후 결과를 얻을 때까지의 반응시간을 나누어 고려할 때, 사용자는 반응시간에 보다 관심을 갖는 것이 일반적이다. 내용기반 이미지검색 시스템에서 질의이미지와 데이터베이스 내의 이미지와의 유사도 비교시간이 전체 반응시간 중에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 유사도 비교시간을 최소화하기 위해 특징벡터의 클러스터링 기법을 적용한 2단계 탐색방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과를 통해 제안하는 2단계 탐색방법으로 대용량의 이미지 데이터베이스 내의 전체 이미지에 대한 원 특징정보와 비교하는 전체검색에 비해, 동일한 적합성을 보장하면서 평균적으로 2배 이상의 검색속도 향상을 확인하였으며, 이미지의 수가 더욱 커질수록 효과적임을 입증하였다.

This thesis is a reflection of Korean aestheticism and how it has evolved and influenced Korean contemporary fashion throughout the last century. Up to the current, there have been five notable trends of fashion that have been influenced from and have reflected the qualities emblematic of various periods in Korean history. They can be characterized as the era of Missionary fashion, Uniform fashion, Salon fashion, Brand Name Fashion, and finally, fashion from the current era of diversification. The specific characteristics of each fashion era have been analized and illustrated in a comprehensive table. Design characteristics of Korean contemporary fashion are as follows : 1. A point of emphasis is given to facial feature, unconstructive design and ample silhouette and A silhouette, two-piece and pants. Korean style wrap skirt, a smooth curve and layered style. 2. Effect of flatness from material; as methods of quilting, reinforced dual stitching(Kaeki), patchwork, embroidery and goldfoil thread extra, it is turned up that texture of cloth stuff and effects of flatness. 3. Simple color combinations give effects in two different directions For instance, white and a variety of vivid colors, a dull color and bright colors, black, blue. 4. Over-design, diffusion of fashion. Based on the design characteristics described above, the essence of Korea's beauty consciousness can be captured and summarized through the following points: 1. Emotionalism and non-characterism: traditional and simple natural beauty and modernized natural beauty. 2. From authoritism to non-authoritism: traditional and formal personal beauty and casual characteristic beauty. 3. Polaris (antithesis) phenomenon: chastic beauty and ostentatious beauty, simplicity and lavishness, conformity of fashion and originality. Although the beauty consciousness of Korean contemporary fashion is changing from traditional passive metaphor to aesthetic expressionism for the new generation, after all the basic foundation or root of the spiritual beauty of idealism is usually recognized by focusing on the face.

내용기반 영상 검색에서는 컬러, 형태, 질감의 세 가지 대표적인 영상 특징들이 주로 사용된다. 한 가지 특징만을 사용하는 검색 방법은 영상의 내용이 복잡하거나 비교대상이 되는 영상의 수가 많아질수록 좋은 성능을 보이지 못한다. 그래서 여러 가지 영상 특징들을 결합한 방법들이 많이 연구되고 있다. 그러나 여러 특징들을 결합해서 사용하는 검색 시스템이라 할지라도 각 특징들에 대한 가중치가 적합하게 부여되지 않으면 검색되는 결과 영상들의 순위가 크게 변하여 검색 성능이 떨어지게 된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 여러 영상 특징들이 결합해서 사용될 때 각 특징에 대한 가중치를 자동적으로 부여해서 검색 성능을 개선하고자 한다. 제안한 방법을 992개의 테스트 영상들로 구성된 데이터 베이스에서 실험을 하고 다양한 성능평가 방법을 통해 그 타당성을 확인하였으며 제안한 방법을 고정가중치 부여를 이용한 방법과 비교하여 검색 성능이 개선됨을 볼 수 있었다.

본 연구에서는 레이저 슬릿 빔을 이용한 능동 스테레오 정합 기법과 모자이크 기법을 결합한 3차원 형상 복원 기법을 제안한다. 능동 스테레오 정합 기법은 레이저 슬릿 빔이 조사된 좌, 우 영상에서 색상과 밝기 변화를 분석하여 레이저 라인의 위치정보를 검출하고, 등극선(epipolar line)에서 이를 비교하여 깊이 정보를 획득하는 방법이다. 모자이크 기법은 해리스 코너 검출 방법(harris corner detection)을 이용하여 영상의 특징점을 검출하고, 특징점 기술자(keypoint descriptor) 색인 분류 방법으로 연속 영상 간 특징점의 대응쌍을 찾고 상호 변환 관계를 추정하는 방법이다. 능동 스테레오 정합기법과 모자이크 기법을 이용하여 전체 연속 영상의 깊이 정보를 계산하였다. 이와 같은 방법으로 획득한 연속 영상의 깊이 정보를 영상의 색상, 질감 정보와 융합(blending)과정을 거쳐 최종 3차원 형상 정보로 복원하였다. 제안한 복원기법은 레이저 슬릿 빔과 스테레오 카메라를 사용함으로써 장소와 거리 제약 조건을 극복하여 용이하면서도 강인한 3차원 거리 정보를 획득할 수 있었다.
