Effect of additional electromagnetic coil current on the discharge characteristics of magnetron sputtering (보조 전자기 코일이 마그네트론 방전특성에 미치는 영향)

  • 본 연구에서는 스퍼터된 원자의 이온화율을 높여 스퍼터링 효율 및 증착된 박막의 특성을 향상시킬 목적으로, 스퍼터 타깃과 기판사이에 보조 전자기코일을 부가하였다. 실험결과, 보조 전자기 코일을 통해 전자장 분포를 제어함으로 인해 스퍼터링 효율 및 박막의 증착 균일도를 동시에 향상시킬 수 있었으며, 나아가 입사이온의 증가로 인해 증착된 박막의 특성도 향상됨을 예상할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, Take two perment magnets and three iron bars and wind copper wire around one or the bars. This paper demonstrate that the method or calculation yields the right results with MAXWELL-2D program package for computing magnetic field, also indicate the value to which the current in the coil has to be limited to prevent saturation of the iron or the cores. The Finally procedures for design of LDM are discussed.

  • In this paper, we present the design procedure and analysis the fundamental characteristics for Linear DC motor using permeance method and finite element method. Designed LDM is made of two permanent magnets, three iron core and amateur windings. For the design the LDM, first of all it is nessary to calculate the air gap flux density and thrust force, after that to determine core size, the numbers of winding turns, winding width, motor cross section area and losses in the coil. Also, we analysis the fundamental characteristics for implemented LDM according to proposed design procedure, and we find that the implemented LDM generated constant thrust force for costant current as long as iron of core is not saturated. Finally, we find that the proposed design procedure in this paper is effective to design and implementation of LDM.

  • 본 논문은 미러 표면에 형성된 코일과 미러 양쪽에 위치한 영구자석간의 전자기력에 의해 구동되는 마이크로미러의 설계 및 결과를 나타낸다. $4mm\;{\times}\;4mm$ 크기를 갖는 미러의 전자기 특성 및 구동을 유한요소해석 프로그램인 COMSOL Multiphysics를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 하였다. 4 kHz의 공진주파수 특성을 갖도록 설계된 마이크로미러는 코일에 $3.6\;A/mm^2$의 current density 적용 시 x-, y-axis displacement가 각각 $1.2{\mu}m$, $12{\mu}m$가 되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • A new parameter W/R for the class I test have been introduced in the IEC 61643-1 published in 2005. One of the possible test impulses which meets the parameters for class I test is the 10/350 [${\mu}s$] waveshape proposed in IEC61312-1. 10/350 [${\mu}s$] waveshape meets parameters for class I test in the IEC 61643-1. The impulse generator for making the 10/350 [${\mu}s$] waveshape is consist of IVG, ICG, crowbar coil and crowbar switch. The electric change Q and the specific energy W/R were measured and calculated using the exclusive use measuring software according to the formula of IEC 611643-1. We verified the correspondence between measured results using impulse generator and recommended parameters by IEC 61643-1.

  • This paper presents the system design of high speed linear synchronous machine in the required speed and thrust considering power of inverter. in this paper, the design of manufacturing motor is optimized by characteristics of motor parameters with the variation of coil turns of rotor and stator. And, the dynamic simulation are performed from the (d-q) transformation of the current and voltage and the mechanical dynamic equation composed of the mover mass and damping ratio. Finally, the results of design and analysis are verificated by finite element analysis.

  • Diagnostic, surge and ac breakdown tests are widely used to evaluate the insulation condition of stator winding in traction motor. Diagnostic test included ac current, tan delta and maximum partial discharge. The result of diagnostic test indicates that five kinds of stator windings are good condition. Surge test was peformed to confirm the healthy of turn insulation in stator windings. This test is very easy to detect the turn insulation failure between normal and defect stator windings. After completing the diagnostic test, ac breakdown test has conducted gradually increasing ac voltage, until the stator winding punctured. No. 5 stator windings failed near rated voltage of 18.9 kV The breakdown voltage of No. 1 stator windings was 13.0 kV The ac breakdown voltage of normal winding is about 1.45 times higher than that of defect windings. The failure was located in a line-end coil at the exit from the core slot.

  • The hybrid type LOA is electric machine which reciprocates the mover by thrust force produced by interaction of flux between coil current and permanent magnet. In this paper, the shape of LOA is designed conceptually and calculating algorithm of leakage inductance in the stator slot and magnetizing inductance between stator and mover is obtained. Using the conceptually designed LOA, the change of flux distribution is studied in consideration with movement of a mover.

  • This paper presents the design and the control of three degree-of-freedom(DOF) fine positioning device based on an electro-magnetic force. The device is designed by use of a magnetic circuit theory and it is capable of fine motion due to the electro-magnetic force. The device consists of permanent magnets, yokes and coils. The magnetic fluxes generated from the permanent magnets constitute magnetic paths through steel, whereas the coils are arranged into the gap between two surfaces of the yokes. Therefore, by supplying current to the coils, the coils are capable of some motions due to Lorentz forces. For the optimal design of the actuating system, the system parameters are defined and investigated under the given constraints. From the system modeling in small displacement, three decoupled equations of motion are obtained. To get better performance of the system, a PID controller is implemented. Experimental results are presented in terms of time response and accuracy.

  • 자기공명영상시스템의 경사자계코일을 영구자석의 자극에 부착할 경우 경사자계의 분포가 변하고 코일의 인덕턴스가 증가하는 현상이 생긴다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 자극효과를 고려하여 평면형 경사자계코일을 설계하는 방법을 제시하였다. 제사한 방법에는 자극 효과를 거울 전류로 모델링하였고, 모델링한 거울 전류를 고려하여 경사자계코일의 인덕턴스를 최소화하는 방법을 구했다. 또한 실제 상황과 가장 흡사한 자계 분포를 만들어주는 거울 전류의 크기를 구하기 위해 유한요소법을 적용하였다. 제시한 방법으로는 설계된 경사자계코일은 종래의 설계된 경사자계 코일에 비해 우수한 성능을 보였다.
