The purpose of this study is to explore structural relationship between cognitive factors and emotional factors in predicting behavioral intention of duty-free users. This study conducted questionnaire survey on 246 users of duty-free shops and analyzed it by using structural equation. As the result of the study, attitude was significantly associated with both desire and behavioral intention. Subjective norm had a significant impact on desire, but had no significant imfact on behavioral intention. Whereas perceived behavioral control did not have a significant influence on desire and intention. Desire, which plays mediating role as a major variable in goal-directed behavioral model, turned out to not only have significant impact on behavioral intention but has the strongest effect as well. This study has its academic meaning in that it explored factors which have effect on decision-making process of duty-free users focusing on goal-oriented behavioral model, which is one of integrated psychological models. In practical terms, this study can be used as a basic material for corporations to establish goals in domestic duty-free shops.
Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the correlation of cognitive function and fall-risk behavioral factors. Methods: The elderly over than 65 year-old with and without cognitive impairment were recruited in four different regional areas. Total 43 data of K-MoCA and FaB were collected. Pearson correlation of total scores of K-MoCA and FaB was analyzed using SPSS 22. Correlation between total score of K-MoCA and each item of FaB which describes the fall-risk behaviors was analyzed as well. Results: The cognitive function was statistically positive correlated with the fall-related behaviors in pearson correlation analysis (p<.01). Nine items of total 30 items of FaB was significantly correlated with total score of K-MoCA. Conclusion: Fall-risk behaviors were decreased as the cognitive level was improved. If the cognitive function was vulnerable, the insight to fall-risk behaviors deficits and various fall-related behavioral factors exits. The high fall-risk behaviors were correlated with cognitive function, so that the cognitive level should be considered in fall prevention intervention in Occupational Therapy.

In this study, a survey was carried out on 150 parents who have regular children attending integrated childcare centers in J area, through March 2 to March 10, 2012, with the purpose of figuring out the Effects of Attitudes toward Disabled Children on Integrated Childcare Attitudes in Regular Parents. The results are summarized as follows. First, the effect of attitudes toward disabled children on regular integrated childcare attitudes showed that cognitive and emotional factors had a statistically significant positive effect on regular attitudes. Second, the effect of attitudes toward disabled children on children's activities and teachers' concerns for integrated childcare showed that cognitive and behavioral factors had a statistically significant positive effect on children's activities and teachers' concerns. Third, the effect of attitudes toward disabled children on behavioral problems of integrated childcare showed that cognitive, emotional and behavioral factors had a statistically significant positive effect on behavioral problems. As for findings stated as above, there was a difference in integrated childcare attitude depending on regular parents' attitude toward disabled children. This implies that there is a difference in cognitive and emotional attitudes toward disabled children in regular parents, acting as positive factors that raise the integrated childcare attitude for the improvement of perception on these factors. Consequently, for the integrated childcare, both disabled children and regular children should admit each other's diversity and accept different each other's existence, and the perception change of parents, who try to respect and learn together, should be preceded.

The most basic forces of stock market are supply and demand, which increases or decreases on the basis of information. The crucial point is that investor's perception is depending on the availability of information at a particular time. But it is very difficult to understand what they take from a piece of information, and the decision varies from person to person; hence, it is important to understand the behavior of investors in the stock market. In this context, this study is focusing on behavioral investor-type diagnosis testing among financial market players (FMPs) in Oman. The study conducted a review of behavioral types among stock market investors, and attempted to assess the influence of age and gender factors on investor bias. It classifies investor type biases according to the gender and age of respondents. This study employs primary data with a structured questionnaire distributed to an equal number of male and female stock market investors in Muscat Securities Market. The study used sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, CATPCA and ALSCAL to identify the significant difference among age, gender and experience of the respondents. The present study found that all of the investors are influenced by different cognitive biases and, moreover, it depends on investor's gender.
This study investigated the effect a fashion model's self-expression has on stage confidence, commitment, and satisfaction. The differences in stage confidence, commitment and satisfaction were analyzed by comparing the frequency of fashion show experiences. A survey was conducted using convenience sampling of professional male and female fashion models at fashion venues (Dongdaemoon Design Plaza) and model agencies from March 2, 2017 through April 10, 2017. A total of 248 questionnaires were obtained and SPSS 21.0 was used for data analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the analysis indicated a fashion model's self-expression factors, including movement, meaning, and individuality, had positively impacted the model's psychological and physical confidence, while acting ability negatively impacted such confidences. Secondly, movement meaning, expressive impulse, and individuality had positive impacts on behavioral commitment. A model's expressive impulse was also found to have a positive impact on cognitive commitment. In addition, acting ability negatively impacted behavioral commitment, while it affected cognitive commitment positively. Third, a high level of psychological and physical confidences about fashion shows, as well as a high level of behavioral and cognitive commitment, had a positive impact on fashion-show satisfaction. There were significant differences in cognitive commitment and fashion-show satisfaction by frequency of fashion show experiences. The findings can be utilized to understand the psychological factors that affect a fashion model's performance in order to increase the model's fashion-show satisfaction. It is also expected to provide useful information to enhance the quality of fashion shows.
This study examined the effects of response-facilitating factors(Food-related Knowledge, Response-Efficacy, and Self-Efficacy) and response-inhibiting factors(Severity, Vulnerability, and Consumer Stress) on the consumer' behavior intention based on protection motivation theory, which explains the behavioral change to protect oneself. This study was conducted to reduce the customers' concerns regarding food safety accidents and introduce ways to make them more interested in food safety. A sample of 225 adults over 19 years of age was collected in February 2018 through a self-administered questionnaire. The results of the cognitive mediation process of protective motivation theory showed that the consumers' knowledge and self-efficacy which are response-facilitating factors, positively influence the behavioral intention. Severity and consumer stress were response-inhibiting factors. On the other hand, response-efficacy, which is a response-facilitating factor, and vulnerability, which is a response-inhibiting factor, did not influence the behavioral intention. Therefore, severity and consumer stress are response-inhibiting factors. The results were analyzed as a result of a behavioral change to protect oneself from food safety accidents. The applicability of the theory of protection motivation on the topic of food safety was also confirmed.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore factors that influence care dependency of institutionalized patients with dementia. Method: This study utilized descriptive correlational design. The convenience sample was composed of 110 residents with dementia of two long-term care facilities in Korea. Stepwise multiple regression was used to identify significant factors influencing care dependency in patients with dementia. Care dependency was measured using the Care Dependency Scale, Korean version(CDS-K). Cognition was measured by the MMSE-K. Functional disability was measured by the PULSES Profile. Behavioral dysfunction was measured by the modified E-BEHAVE AD. Result: Care dependency was significantly influenced by cognition, functional disability, behavioral dysfunction, and duration of dementia. This regression model explained 61 % of the variances in care dependency. Cognition explained 37% of the variances, and functional disability explained 21% of the variances. Conclusion: Results of this study suggest that professional caregivers intervene more effectively in caring for their patients with dementia by recognizing the patients cognitive, functional, behavioral disability, and its periodic change. Individually, remaining abilities-focused intervention should be applied to enhance patient to be dependent and to prevent unnecessary independency.
The purposes of this study were to examine and to predict the affecting factors on exercise participation of Rheumatoid arthritis Patients. The subjects were 161 adult out-patients who visited the hospital for rheumatic disease in H-university. Data were composed of self-reported questionnaire. The conceptual model of this study consisted of that personal characters(age, marriage, education, income), situational characters(pain intensity, fatigue, IADL, depression), behavioral characters(formerly exercise behavior, life-style), and cognitive-perceptional characters(perceived health status, perceived benefit, perceived barrier, perceived self-efficacy) affected directly to exercise participation. Logistic regression analysis was applied for testing model of this study. The results were as follows : 1. Personal characters(education), situational characters(pain intensity), behavioral characters(formerly exercise behavior, life-style), and cognitive characters(perceived barrier, perceived self-efficacy) were significant difference between current exercise participants(127subjects) and non-exercise participants(34). 2. Personal characters(income), situational characters(pain intensity), behavioral characters(life-style), and cognitive-perceptional characters(perceived barrier, perceived self-efficacy) were correlated to exercise participation. 3. Formerly exercise behavior, perceived barrier, and perceived self-efficacy were significant predictor of exercise participation. The logistic equation predicted overall 81.94% of this study subjects 161.
This study was performed to explore multidimensional customer royalties and relating factors. 900 households, $1\%$ sample were randomly selected from K city located in Kangwon province. Interview survey was performed with structured Questionnaire for the entire people, 923 persons who experienced medical service utilization during one year before survey on time, september, 2004. In comparison of customer royalties by sociodemographic characteristics, the older group showed the higher level of cognitive and attitudinal royalties significantly. Education and income level also, showed negative relationship with cognitive, attitudinal and behavioral loyalties significantly. The more being a female and a visitor at oriental medicine clinic, the higher level of attitudinal loyalties. Customer satisfaction was a critical explaining variable for cognitive, attitudinal and behavioral loyalties. In multiple regression analysis, some sociodemographic characteristics showed significant relation with customer loyalties and customer satisfaction was the strongest relating variable to customer loyalties. In conclusion, multidimensional approach for customer loyalty is useful for understanding customer behaviors comprehensively. Future studies should focus on developing the more specific and valid measurement tools for customer loyalty in medical service.
Nowadays, organizations have adopted Smart Work to efficiently manage tasks, such as electronic document approval, customer management, and site inspection, without spatial-temporal constraints. Smartphones, which are commonly used in Smart Work, enable individuals to perform their jobs anytime and anywhere, thus blurring the boundary between work and non-work. To solve the problem of blurred work/non-work boundaries, a construct of self-control and affective factors needs to be considered because business style is changed from command to autonomy in the Smart Work context. Moreover, employees can convey their emotions easily over smartphones. Recent marketing studies have analyzed consumers' behavior based on the combination of cognitive, affective, and behavioral components, and researchers of information systems are also interested in these factors. However, previous research has some limitations, such as not classifying factors into cognitive, affective, and behavioral as well as not covering all three factors. Therefore, we explore the roles of cognitive, affective, and behavioral components in emotional exhaustion and education performance, and conduct a survey on undergraduate and graduate students, who are the major users of smartphones. Findings show that when individuals improve their cognitive capability (self-control) and usage experience (smartphone communication and internet usage), they can decrease emotional exhaustion and increase education performance. In the role of affective capability, increasing education performance is partially accepted. These results imply that organizations should not focus on controlling the usage of smartphones but on promoting appropriate smartphone usage.
