Studies in social science are performed on the language of social actors. While a metaphor analysis focuses on the meaning of the language, a cognitive map analysis deals with its external relationships. If we can put together both analyses, it will be possible to investigate the internal meanings and external relationship of the language and image at the same time. In this paper, metaphor analysis and cognitive map approach is applied to find the image of local governments. This study shows how to link metaphor analysis to the cognitive map and the benefit of using both approaches together.

The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze each government's ICT SME support policies to cope with changes in the ICT ecosystem paradigm. In particular, the core policies and policy trends of the Moon's government are presented through keyword network analysis and cognitive map analysis. As a result, core technologies such as ICT(Information Communication Technology), AI(Artificial Intelligence), Big Data, and 5G, which have high values of betweenness centrality and closeness centrality, are major keywords with high propagation power. The cognitive map analysis shows that the opportunity factors for the 4th industrial revolution are being activated through the ICT infrastructure circulation process, the domestic market circulation process, and the global market circulation process. This study is meaningful in terms of cognitive map analysis and utilization based on scientific analysis.

The purpose of this study was to investigate why advance organizers (AO) are effective in promoting comprehension and mental model formation in terms of cognitive load. Two experimental groups: a concept-map AO group and a key-word AO group and one control group were used. This study considered cognitive load in view of Baddeley's working memory model: central executive (CE), phonological loop (PL), and visuo-spatial sketch pad (VSSP). The present experiment directly examined cognitive load using dual task methodology. The results were as follows: central executive (CE) suppression task achievement for the concept map AO group was higher than the key word AO group and control group. Comprehension and mental model construction for the concept map AO group were higher than the other groups. These results indicated that the superiority of concept map AO owing to CE load decrement occurred with comprehension and mental model construction in learning. Thus, the available resources produced by CE load reduction may have been invested for comprehension and mental model construction of learning contents.

To fly a drone or unmanned aerial vechicle(UAV) safely, its pilot needs to maintain high situation awareness of its flight space. One of the important ways to improve the flight space awareness is to integrate both the global and the local navigation map a drone provides. However, the drone pilot often has to use the inconsistent reference frames or perspectives between the two maps. In specific, the global navigation map tends to display space information in the third-person perspective, whereas the local map tends to use the first-person perspective through the drone camera. This inconsistent perspective problem makes the pilot use mental rotation to align the different perspectives. In addition, integrating different dimensionalities (2D vs. 3D) of the two maps may aggravate the pilot's cognitive load of mental rotation. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the relation between perspective difference ($0^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$, $180^{\circ}$, $270^{\circ}$) and the map dimensionality matches (3D-3D vs. 3D-2D) to improve the way of integrating the two maps. The results show that the pilot's flight space awareness improves when the perspective differences are smaller and also when the dimensionalities between the two maps are matched.

이 연구는 공간인지 이론을 기반으로 하여 최근에 급격히 발달하고 있는 길찾기 목적의 웹지도 효과를 측정하기 위한 기본 개념과 평가틀을 설정하고 정량적 분석방법을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 특정 지도사용상황에서 길찾기 과제를 수행한 후 지도사용으로 얼마나 효과적으로 공간인지가 이루어졌는지를 측정하는 '인지적 지도사용효과'의 개념과 정확성, 신속성, 자신감의 분석항목을 기반으로 하는 평가틀을 제안하였다. 제안한 평가틀을 실증적으로 검증하기 위해 실험조사를 실시하고, 실험 결과물인 인지지도를 2차원 회귀분석 방법을 적용하여 실험결과를 계량화하였다. 분석결과, 공간을 정확하게 인식하거나 빠르게 회상하는 데에는 지도표현방법보다 사용자의 특성과 반복적인 지도사용 등의 요소가 영향을 미치며, 2차원 지도와 3차원 지도를 동시에 참조하는 경우 공간인지에 대한 자신감이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구결과는 효과적일 것이라고 예상되는 새로운 지도표현방법이 실제로 그렇지 않거나, 사용자마다 효과적이라고 판단하는 지도표현방법이 다른 이유에 대한 근거를 제공해 준다.

This study analyzed President Park's speeches and the government's industry policy in the field of information security using cognitive map. The relationship analysis between policy tool variables and policy goal variables was employed to derive revitalization strategy of information security. This paper found that entrepreneurship revitalization has very strong causality with expansion of domestic market and global market. But, on the other hand, HR development has very weak causality with job creation and future growth driver because the labor market in the information security industry is poor and its transfer rate to other industry is very high. This study showed that this cognitive map could be characterized by a scarcity of feedback loops and a strong emphasis on the positive loops in the structure of virtuous circle. In this paper, we also constructed a comprehensive cognitive map on the policy vision of information security, showing that there are a risk of cyber threat, an opportunity of new fusion security market, information security reinforcing circle, global economic circle, and domestic market circle.

본 연구에서는 이명박 대통령의 연설문과 지식경제부의 IT중소벤처기업 지원정책에 대한 내용을 토대로 심층적인 인지지도 분석을 하였다. 또한 정책수단변수와 정책목표변수간의 관계분석을 통해 정책목표를 도출하고, 종합적인 인지지도를 활용하여 성장역량강화, 투자활성화, 창업활성화, 기술경쟁력 제고, 글로벌화, 고용창출 등 정보통신분야 중소벤처기업 지원정책방향을 제시하였다. 그리고 IT중소벤처기업 지원정책의 인지지도 분석을 통해 피드백 루프가 별로 없다는 점과 IT중소벤처기업 지원정책이 선순환 구조를 가지고 있는 양의 피드백 루프구조라는 것을 발견했다.

어떤 한 프로젝트를 성공할 가능성을 높이기 위해서는 그 성과에 영향을 줄 수 있는 요소들에 대해 정의할 필요가 있다. 인지도는 관련있는 요소들의 인과관계를 조사함으로써 분석하는데 널리 사용되고 있다. 퍼지인지도는 인관관계의 연결강도를 통해 피드백의 개념을 추가한 인지도의 확장 개념을 가지고 있다. 프로젝트 성과는 입력 자원, 수행가능성, 타인의 관심 정도 등에 의해 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 프로젝트의 성과와 이런 요소들간의 인과관계의 정도를 조사 분석하기 위해 퍼지인지도를 활용하여 기업프로젝트의 성공을 위한 모델을 개발하고자 한다.

FCM(Fuzzy Cognitive Map) is a fuzzy signed directed graph for representing causal reasoning which has fuzziness between causal concepts. Authors have already proposed FCM-based fault diagnostic scheme. However, the previously proposed scheme has the problem of lower diagnostic resolution. In order to improve the diagnostic resolution, a new diagnostic scheme based on extended FCM which incorporates the concept of fuzzy number into FCM is developed in this paper. Furthermore, an enhanced TAM(Temporal Associative Memory) recall procedure and pattern matching scheme are also proposed.

Green growth policy is essentially a dilemmatic policy, because it has two fundamental but conflicting values, environment vs. economy. In this paper, how the dilemma in the green growth policy is perceived by the policy maker is analyzed. Two approach is taken to analyze the dilemma perception by the policy maker, the president of Korea. The first approach is an analysis of policy statements by the president, and the second approach is a cognitive map analysis of his statements. This paper discusses the different findings between two approach and points out the potential power of the cognitive map in finding policy dilemmas.
