Calculation of Proton-Induced Reactions on Ti, Fe, Cu and Mo up to 60 MeV for TLA Application

  • The reaction cross-sections of $^{nat}$Ti(p,X)$^{48}$ V, $^{nat}$Fe(p,X)$^{56}$ Co, $^{nat}$Cu(p,X)$^{65}$ Zn and $^{nat}$Mo(p,X)$^{96}$ Tc for TLA application are calculated in the frame of the ECIS-GNASH code system up to 60 MeV. The calculated results are compared with the experimental data taken from the EXFOR at the NEA Data Bank. A preliminary calculation with the global optical parameters of Varner et al. shows considerable differences from the experimental data at low energy range. The global optical parameters for the imaginary volume potential and the diffuseness of the imaginary potential are adjusted to achieve a better description of the experimental data in the vicinities of peak position below 16 MeV. 16 MeV.

선량 중첩을 이용한 멀티형 연 X-선 정전기 제거장치의 개발 (Development of Multi-Type Soft X-ray Ionizer using Radiation Dose Overlapped Effect)

  • In display and semi-conductor manufacturing process, there are numerous unstable factors such as particle concentration, minimal vibration, changes in magnetic field, or electrostatic that becomes an issue to be managed and controlled. In the recent, X-ray ionization is widely used that is neutralized by separating air or gas molecules in the area where the static must be resolved. The mono-type of X-ray ionizer was not capable to be used in $8^{th}$ generation panels manufacturing plant due to its insufficient ionizing coverage since the panel itself is approximately in $2m{\times}3m$. To resolve the current problem, the development of new type called, "Multi-type X-ray ionizer" has resulted in covering enough ionizing space in $8^{th}$ generation panels industry. Comparing mono and multi types with MCNPX code simulation, the multi one indicates more X-ray flux, efficiency, and ionization performance in comparison with either a mono-type or multi-type in array format. In addition, the ionizing efficiency of overlapping area with multi-type showed 30% higher effectiveness rate as to the ordinary mono-type.

Optimized Channel Coding of Control Channels for Mobile Packet Communication

  • This paper proposes a coding scheme of control channel for mobile packet communication to maximize the minimum Hamming distance, which is based on shifting of basis vectors of Reed Muller code with optimized dynamic puncturing and/or(partial) sequence repetition. Since the maximum likelihood decoding can be performed using the extremely simple FHT(Fast Hadamard Transformation), it is suitable for real time optimum decoding of control channel information with very little complexity. We show applications of the proposed coding method to TFCI(Transport Format Combination Indicator) code in split and normal modes of 3GPP W-CDMA system. We also discuss how this method can reduce rate indication error over AWGN(Additive White Gaussian Noise) as well as fading channels when the proposed coding scheme is applied to 1xEV-DV system of $3^{rd}$TEX> generation partnership project 2(3GPP2) to indicate the data rate transmitted on the reverse traffic channel by a Mobile Station(MS).

On the Chinese Code on fire safety design of steel building structures

  • This work introduces to the international scientific community the Chinese Code on fire safety design of steel building structures. The aim of the Code is to prevent the structure of a steel building subjected to fire from collapsing, ensure safe evacuation of building occupants, and reduce the cost for repairing the damages of the structure caused by fire. The main contents of the Code is presented in this paper, including the fire duration requirements of structural components, fundamental requirements on fire safety design of steel components, temperature increasing of atmosphere and components in fire, loading effect and capacity of various components in fire, and procedure for fire-resistant design of steel components. The analytical approach is employed in the Code and the effectiveness of the Code is validated through experiments.

  • Within 10years, it will be possible to integrate 10B transistors on a single chip microprocessor which wilt operate far beyond GHZ, and it will execute about 20-200 instructions per clock cycle from widely variable instruction streams leveraging SMT(Simultaneous Multithreading) technology . Also it will decouple the current legacy X86 binary compatibility by translation layer such as code morphing technology.

As이온이 주입된 Si의 구조적 특성 연구 (Study on Structural properties of As Ion -Implanted Si)

  • STrained layers and strain depth profile of high dose As ion implanted (100) si wafer annealed at various temperatures have been investigated by means of X-ray double crystal diffractometry (X-ray DCD). The results obtained by x-ray rocking curve analysis showed a defect layer at the original amorphous /crystalline interface of 1400$\AA$ depth. In addition arsenic ion concentrtion profiles and defect distributions in depth were obtained by the SIMS and TRIM -code simulation . the positive strain depth profile determined from the rocking curve analysis were only presented under 0.14 $\mu$m from the surface for samples ananelaed at $600^{\circ}C$. The results was shown that the thickness of amprphous layer is 0.14 $\mu$m indirectry, and it was good agreement with the TRIM -Code simulation. Additionally, it could be thought that the positive strain have been affected residual intersitial atoms under the amorphous/crystalline interface formed by ion implantation.

X-밴드 진행파관 증폭기 설계 및 제작 (Experimental investigation on an X-band Traveling-Wave-Tube Amplifier)

  • X-band(8-12㎓)에서 50W의 고출력을 내는 진행파관 증폭기를 설계하고 제작하여 측정하였다. 본 연구에서는 전자빔과 전자파가 상호작용을 일으키는 Interaction Circuit을 나선형구조로 구성하였고 저속파구조의 분산특성을 얻기 위해 Sheath helix 모델링 이론을 적용하였고 HFSS(High Frequency Structure Simulator) Code를 사용해 분산특성을 얻었으며 이를 바탕으로 제작하여 측정하였다. 또한 2D-MAGIC Code를 통해 전파 빔과 전자파와의 상호작용관계와 증폭기의 성능을 예측하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 포화입력전력 100 mW를 넣었을 때 10㎓에서 43W의 출력전력과 26㏈의 이득을 얻을 수 있었으며 측정을 통해 입력전력 30mw일 때 8W의 출력, 24㏈의 이득을 얻을 수 있었다.

Comparison of CFD simulations with experimental data for a tanker model advancing in waves

  • In this paper, CFD simulation results for a tanker model are compared with experimental data over a range of wave conditions to verify a capability to predict the sea-keeping performance of practical hull forms. CFD simulations are conducted using WISDAM-X code which is capable of unsteady RANS calculations in arbitrary wave conditions. Comparisons are made of unsteady surface pressures, added resistance and ship motions in regular waves for cases of fully-loaded and ballast conditions of a large tanker model. It is shown that the simulation results agree fairly well with the experimental data, and that WISDAM-X code can predict sea-keeping performance of practical hull forms.

  • 국내 게임 분야는 다양한 게임 장르 중에서 사용자들에게 사실감을 더해주는 3D 기반 온라인 게임이 주류를 이루고 있다. 국내의 게임산업은 전문 인력이 부족하고 개발 기업이 영세하며, 게임과 관련된 설계 기술의 보안 때문에 기술 공유가 어려운 실정이다. 이러한 측면에서 볼 때, 인력과 시간이 많이 드는 네트워크 게임제작 시에 기존에 작성된 코드를 재사용이 가능하도록 소프트웨어를 설계하는 기법이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 DirectX를 기반으로 하는 네트워크 게임의 클라이언트 측 설계에서 사용사례(use case)를 이용하여 요구 사항을 분석하고, 클래스 설계에 GoF(Gang of Four)의 디자인 패턴분류 중 생성패턴에 대한 게임 소프트웨어 설계의 재사용 기법을 제안한다.
