단거리송전선에서 투입저항이 없는 차단기적용에 관한 연구 (The Study on Application of Circuit Breaker without Closing Resistor in Short Transmission Line)

  • In this paper, the analysis result of the switching surge in substation including GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) has been described using the EMTP(Electro Magnetic Transient Program) program. After performing the modeling of the input data, we have reviewed the energization overvoltages of GCB(Gas Circuit Breaker) without closing resistor in 345kV network, according to the conditions of simultaneously operating switch and statistically operating switch. Firstly, it can be known that the energization overvoltage of single line is higher than that of parallel energized line. Secondly, the maximum energization overvoltage obtained in statistics switch is higher than one in simultaneous switch. From these results, it can be known that the phase-to-earth energization overvoltages of $\alpha$-$\beta$ section are less than 2.2 p.u when closing resistor is eliminated. Therefore, it is possible to consider the circuit breaker eliminated the closing resistor in $\alpha$-$\beta$ section.

  • The most important question is how to use which kind of switch in pulsed power generation. There are many kinds of commercial closing switches, which have advantages and disadvantages. The most popular closing switch is the spark gap, but it has a disadvantage in life time, because of erosion of electrodes by arc heating. The Rotary Arc Gap (RAG) switch, especially Walkie-Edgar type RAG switch, was proposed to solve such problems in spark gap. It has a simple and special structure for arc moving caused from self-induced electromagnetic force, because moving arc makes less erosion on the electrodes. In this study we have made an Walkie-Edgar type RAG switch, tested the switching with capacitive energy storage system, and measured rotating arc speed in different peak current.

  • Closing switch, key component of pulsed power system, is constructed simply and used frequently due to the easy control and manufacture of one. The kind of one are spark-gap, triggered vacuum switch, pseudo-spark switch and INPIStron. But the electrode of spark gap switch is damaged with the hot spot by Z-pinch and then the life of one become short. INPIStron with inverse pinch effect has long life but it is difficult trigger system to provide uniform discharge between cathode and anode. In this paper, the design and manufacturing of INPIStron with gas puffing trigger method in order to supply uniform discharge inter-electrode and the performance of the developed INPIStron applied to 500[kA]-2[MJ] pulsed power system is presented.

  • This paper presents the development of closing switch for high voltage and current in detail. Design concept of INPIStron triggered by the gas puffing, voltage hold-off, current capacity, insulating and electrode material, rise time etc, are described. Also for the dptimized design of the electrical triggering switch, pin, ring, wire brush, surface discharge and HCP(Hypo-Cycloidal Pinch) trigger are considered.

  • 본 논문은 산업현장 및 주거 공간에서 사용될 수 있는 폐기물 배출 및 처리를 위한, 센서 기반의 스마트 압축 시스템 구현에 관한 연구이다. 최근 산업 고도화에 따른 폐기물과 1인 가구의 증가 및 다양한 문화생활에 따른 주거용 폐기물의 양이 크게 증가되고 있으며 이로 인해 인간의 환경뿐만 아니라 해양오염, 토양오염 등 생태계까지 지속적인 악영향을 미치고 있다. 특히 유동 인구가 많은 도심지 및 산업현장에서는 폐기물 배출량을 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 방안이 요구되고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 개선하기 위해 본 논문에서는 폐기물 투입의 동작을 감지하고 투입된 폐기물의 양을 인지하도록, 다양한 센서들을 구비하여 자동압축과 개폐기능을 갖춘 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 적외선 감지 센서를 통해 움직임을 감지하거나, 충격 센서를 이용하여 외부 신호를 받아들여 투입구를 자동으로 개폐할 수 있는 기능을 설계하였고 거리센서를 장착하여 내부 폐기물양을 외부에서도 쉽게 모니터링 할 수 있게 하였다. 또한 수동 개폐 및 압축 기능을 추가적으로 구현하여 필요에 따라 사용자가 직접 동작이 가능하도록 구현하여 시스템의 효용성을 높였다. 최종적으로 스마트 압축시스템을 제작, 평가하여 사용자 편의 및 구현성을 검증하였다.

  • Inverse pinch 스위치는 기존 스위치와 달리 전극의 손상을 줄이기 위해 나선형 전극형태로 제작하였다. 이 스위치는 전기적 트리거 펄스전압을 인가하여 동작시키며, 본 연구의 실험결과 전극간에 발생되는 아크확산 및 전류이동 때문에 전극수명이 길고, 대전류에도 견디기 때문에 펄스파워 시스템에 사용할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • A limit switch box is used for an indicator of a valve actuator. This device indicates an opening and closing of a valve or a throttle in the valve actuator. In a ship, equipments require safety and robustness because of a rough environment and a specific condition during a voyage. However, the limit switch box has been used in an indoor environment generally. This study developed a new limit switch box which can be used at an outdoor environment. This study designed the new limit switch box. The housing of the limit switch box was made by an aluminum die cast method with surface painting after anodizing or chromate coating. In order to evaluate the endurance of the housing, the endurance tests against salt water have been conducted. Experiment results showed that the proposed device provides a reliable performance against salt water.

  • Design and test results of a VRAG(Vacuum Rotary Arc Gap) switch were presented. To control the damage of electrodes caused by the vacuum arc, Lorentz's force by the radial magnetic field between spiral electrodes was used to rotate the vacuum uc. VRAG switch electrodes were made of the material of CuCr and OFHC. Gap distance between two spiral type electrodes for the rotation of the arc discharge is 8, 10, 12mm. In the cathode, one trigger electrode was inserted into each spiral wing. Normal operation of the VRAG switch was confirmed with 10.6[$mutextrm{s}$]of trigger delay and 2~3[$mutextrm{s}$] of the jitter time. The speed of the vacuum arc was measured to be 0.6 ~ 1[km/s] by a motion analyzer.

  • Closing switch는 여러 가지가 있으나, 방전시 발생하는 Z-pinch로 인한 전극의 손상으로 수명이 짧고, 소음, 열 발생 등으로 소형화가 문제점으로 되어왔다. Inverse pinch현상을 이용하여 기존의 closing switch보다 전류밀도가 1/62, 주울열의 발생, 인덕턴스가 작다. INPIStron의 수명에 영향을 미치는 절연물질은 세라믹을, 도전체로서는 경제성을 감안하여 쉽게 구할 수 있는 구리를 이용하여 제작하였고, 트리거는 gas-puffing방식을 사용하였다. 또한 이렇게 제작된 INPIStron을 이용하여 2MJ-500kA급 pulsed power 전원 장치를 개발하였다.

  • Network reconfiguration is performed by opening/closing two types of switches, tie and sectionalizing switches. A whole feeder, or part of a feeder, may be served from another feeder by closing a tie switch linking the two while an appropriate sectionalizing switch must be opened to maintain radial structures. In loss reduction, the problem is to identify tie and sectionalizing switches that should be closed and opened, respectively, to achieve a maximum loss reduction. In this paper, it is introduced to propose the reconfiguration plan for loss reduction by using the Civanlar's loss reduction formular.
